1991 12 Valve Cummins 6 Speed Over Charging Issue HHG

After bragging to The Dodge Whisperer about never having voltage regulator issues...the very next day I pegged my batt gauge at 18 volts. The voltage regulator out of my 1985 Ram Charger and a ground from the regulator to the head fixed the issue.

Typical Dodge behavior ....... Just because you have clean wire loom over everything doesn't mean that its isn't junk wiring. Good to see your Drinking White Claw and considering a KIA.

Its all good now. I still have the ram charger VR in the dually. I put the new VR in the RC. Both working
