Love this f*ing song! From guys in their 50s man makes it even better. Glad you got a recent album song! Rewrote American thrash and heavy metal, and still here to kick it's ass! Have a door ass day my man!
See, personally, I think that you need to listen to the albums in the order to see their growth and change. I think when you listen to just one song you can’t fully appreciate it
I'm glad you picked up some of the Metallica's newest stuff, but let me recommend you: Halo on Fire ... also from the latest album, it's beyond awesome!
This is THE song and THE album that restored my faith in Metallica! This is what Metallica used to be, I think this is their best album since And Justice For All and I fuckin LOVE it! Tons of respect to you Alex for showing proper love to this masterpiece!! BTW, the reason that your face was stuck like that is because it has now officially been MELTED BY METAL!!
MAAAAAAN!! I’m a die hard ‘Tallica fan!! And i LOVE this song! And i’ve absolutely LOVED watching your reaction vids over the last few months dude! Getting to listen to a load of songs that i love, but also see someone have the same reaction that i had first time, in some cases freakin yeeears ago, is just awesome, and kinda makes me feel like i’m back there again!! And MAJOR credit to you and anyone who’s willing to embrace other tastes and “cultures”(? 🤷🏻♂️😂) Keep it up man, much love!
next Metallica song needs to be The Call Of Ktulu or The Day that Never Comes. the second one has a strong meaning, my dad was in war when the song came out. im a medium
I love how you get the same facial expressions I do when Kirk starts wailing on guitar . The semi disgusted look of how can someone have that much talent
Blind Guardian - Valhalla. You really really really need to just listen to that song at least once. Make sure to check the live version and watch till the END
Just. Pure. Greatness. I never got any notification for this! Even though I've always had the notification bell on!! Yo man I just wanted to say that my uncle passed away last Friday and I've been really struggling with it but I've turned to your videos and they're really helping cheer me up and put a smile on my face when nothing else can and thank you bro
The shortest and simplest explanation of the lyrics and the idea behind this song: If our capability to suffer is taken away, then we aren't human anymore. In order to feel empathy and show humanity, we need to be capable of suffering. Otherwise we simply don't understand it.
Hell Yeah, Alex! I literally lost my shit at work when I saw this in my recommended! Metallica will always be my favorite band, and seeing you react to their songs brings me back to when I first heard them myself! You got me hooked to your channel, Alex! Thanks for all you do! \m/ every day is a dope ass day when I get to watch one of your vids!
Alex Hefner You're doing great man! There's a huge community out there that is inordinately dedicated to this kind of music, and you're bringing them together on your channel! I definitely appreciate the positive vibes you're sending through your videos, and of course, the insanely great music you're reacting to! Love and peace from Montana! Also, I wear a medium! Just in case you were wondering lol 😆
Love your vids Alex, First of all I was also a hip-hop head. After watching your video’s about reacting to metal I’ve created now a metal list on spotify with more than 200 songs haha. I love to see your progression from the more calm and soft metal to constantly jamming on the heavyer songs. It looks like the exact same progression I have At the moment haha. Keep reacting to metal for the rest of your life please❤️
The transition to 'Long live machine..'' is just awesome. Love that part so much! Chugging into the key change and James growling vocals. Most excellent!
Ok Alex. You are awesome. Your content is awesome. Metallica is awesome. Interesting personal fact, metallica got me over a crap load of anger and emotion when i went through my divorce. Still love metallica. Keep up the good work. Btw, your g/f is HOT! Just saying. Check out Shinedown. Pick a song. Any song. They're coming with Godsmack to the coliseum in Biloxi on the 15th.
Amazing song, most people never thought they would make a song like this again. When Metallica are on, there is no other band that can compare. They cram more great riffs in one song then some bands have in a whole album, absolutely relentless. You should check out "Halo On Fire" next from them
I'm especially glad you made this video. I clicked immediately as soon as I saw it on my feed. This songs has a special meaning to me because I interpret it as a struggles of someone who's been through a lot and is trying to find comfort in being emotionless and desinsitizing himself. That kind of interpretation means a lot to me because I've been struggling a lot too with mental issues. These kind of thoughts help me appreciate music a lot and your videos are made in the name of sharing the experience of music with others. At first I didn't think I would enjoy your content but seeing that you're just trying to share the enjoyment of music with others just makes my day a bit happier. Keep up the good work!
I honestly can't tell you how hyped I was when I heard Metallica had put out new music back almost 2 years ago. My old car's radio stopped working so I wasn't getting my music news but when I got my new car and got SiriusXM and saw new Metallica, the adrenaline started flowing. Also, it looks like it's safe to say that we have finally converted you to being a Metalhead. \m/ That said, when I first saw the music video for "Spit Out The Bone", my mind instantly went to the Cybermen in Doctor Who. They want to "delete" humanity while "upgrading" others or just upgrade humanity as a whole because they view emotions as worthless. One last thing, I absolutely LOVE your reactions to the various facemelter solos. Fuckin hilarious, bro!
Hands down my favorite reaction channel! I always get goosebumps over good music as well!! By far the best Metallica song they had put out in over a decade, great choice! And hey, I wanna rock one of those dope-ass shirts out here in AZ!
Have you seen this guys' reaction? He is an avid Metallica fan and went through each song of 'Hardwired' for the first time and filmed his reactions. This is one of THE best reaction vids, in my opinion. ua-cam.com/video/m9D-vGIRPX4/v-deo.html
I was watching the video and noticed my face was stuck in the exact same way bro! Love the song, love your comments, love the vids! Keep up the good work BRRRRRRRRRUHHHHHHH!

Legit my favorite Reaction video that you have made. This is one of my favorite Metallica songs and this is one of my favorite channels. Keep going man don’t stop 🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽
A part of me doesnt want to comment cause there is so many people subscribed now! But also the other half wants me to keep commenting to show you some support because your channel is like me reacting to metal when I first heard it. Welcome to our world now! Keep metal alive ❤
I saw Metallica live on the 29th of June and it was one of the best concerts I've been to my whole life!!! NOTHING will ever top that amazing concert experience!!

I disagree, I know a lot of people who believe spit out the bone to be their best song they've written since the black album, myself included. Murder one doesn't come close to their best songs, spit out the bone is up there. These guys should get to hear what made Metallica what they are before they go into the more obscure tracks! Spit out the bone is a good one for them to hear because they know what modern Metallica is like compared to old.
Alex Hefner awesome job and metallica helps for it and if you need much more goosebumps listen and análisis Metallica the four horseman 80's in the blood. Hugs from Brasil.
I saw the thumbnail, i clicked on it, i paused the video so that before i watch it i can say Hell fucking yes bro. I know this reaction is going to be dope as hell. Getting goosebumps already in excitement.
Not gonna lie. This is my first comment on any of your videos. I started watching your channel in about April and I’ve been subscribed ever since. I’m a metal head, and I love how you have come into the metal community while still calling yourself a hip hop head. Now your both a hip hop head and a metal head! Keep making awesome videos bro!

Wasn't the album release like 10 years ago?
Luciano Nava their MOST recent albums are Hardwired and death magnetic. My comment ‘ one from their recent albums’
There is no official video for All Nightmare Long. That crap they made with the zombies and germs and stuck to the song doesn't count.
Yes. it doesn't count becasue Alex Gibbs from UA-cam said so.
Alex Gibbs what are you on about? That’s literally the music video
