I was there for the show and I still have the airplay logs that I kept in my records for the first syndicated run in 1989-90 on KTLA, as well as for Bonanza and Little House, as they were airing all three series weekly! The so-called Lost Episodes were freshly seen on FAM and I still have the airplay logs for those, too. Mike’s business manager, Dennis Korn set up the deal with Genesis and Worldvision to distribute HTH for airplay in reruns. Mike edited every episode for syndication to make sure the storylines made sense for everybody. It was his work and he owned it. He went on a syndication trip in the fall of 1988 across the US to promote it. I still have the first set of reruns in my private collection aired on KTLA. That was an exclusive deal and no other station could buy it in the LA market. It quickly became the biggest-rated series on NBC from 1984-87. Both Mike and the network made a fortune from it. There were quite a few detractors at NBC who didn’t like it, but it made them rich. What they did to Mike at the end was mean-spirited by making it a mid-season replacement. I knew Kent McCray well, and he was there in June of 1988 with Mike, when they sat down with NBC to discuss the 5th season. “They were acting strange,” he told me. Mike and him decided to only make a half-season because there was no way to air 24 of them with that kind of airplay timeframe. NBC moved it two times in 1989 and in June it got a rating of No. 80. Unheard of…Victor died only a few weeks afterward. On the other hand, I was working at Price Club and remember taking a one-hour break to watch the episode “Wally”, on the job, while my VHS was recording it at home!!!! I came back, rewound the tape, and sure enough, got it. Beautiful series.😊❤
Serie qui honore DIEU. Michael Landon a fait une promesse à Dieu, il l'a tenue à travers ses œuvres sur terres..., par son travail...pour DIEU. ❤🙏✝️🙏🇨🇵🌹🏠🏠🏠😇😇🌹✝️🙏

Magnifique témoignage. Merci✝️🙏🇨🇵🇨🇵🌹🙏
He was an emotional "I feel your pain" kind of person.
I don't know where you find these Helane. I wish the quality was better, but this one is a gem. Thanks!!
Very few people had three separate hit tv shows in three different decades. Besides Michael Landon, the only other I can think of was Lee Majors.
