It takes me back to my time in the US Navy, where I discovered the band Marillion while frequenting Europe’s beautiful ports of call. While home on leave one holiday and when MTV was still in its first decade, I happened to be watching videos when lo and behold they played the video for Kayleigh. Long story short, I decided years ago that I would name my first born daughter after this song that brought so much joy to me. Never had a daughter, and my son would’ve killed me had he been named that! Once again, thanks for the memories and well done!

Saw/heard them play during that time opening for Rush a number of times and on Clutching at Straws tour. I love all of those early albums with FIsh. Misplaced Childhood is one of the greatest albums ever!

It's a pity I can't give multiple thumbs up. Played the whole album of Misplaced Childhood, when it just came out numerous times. So know it pretty much inside out and think you nailed it. Thanks very much, for sharing this. Will try if I can also learn it to play, but there are a lot of very fast difficult chord changes, so will see if I can manage.
