Hey there!
Sorry for the long break guys. We were both a bit sick on and off (not corona) and couldn't really sing. From here to there I found myself playing the guitar a lot and this particular song by Dire Straits came to mind. I love Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits' music but can't really perform much of their music as they are loaded with crazy guitar solos. Money For Nothing doesn't have a guitar solo, plus we really love it so we just went for it. :)

-Recorded with my Martin acoustic guitar, model DC-16RE AURA
-MXL 990 (upgraded) mic for my vocals & guitar.
-Rode NT1 for Lital’s vocals.
-Bass recorded with DI
-Tascam GT1 for guitar

As a life long Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan (since the 1970's) I can safely say this was one of the top covers I've ever heard. The guitar was superb, the voice incredible. The bass player on point and without doubt the best hair in the bass playing community (pretty too). In a world of talentless 'music' you both stand out.

I'm on a binge bender since discovering both of you on New Years Eve. After watching several dozen offerings, I'm realizing not only do you make em your own, but like this one, top the original. Ironically, (the very lyrics, echo the sentiment), due to MTV & robotic radio playlist overkill, songs like this, were ruined for myself, back in the '80's. There's a real pure joy & vitality in so many of your arrangements & re-interpretations. Your tastes in old school classics, with an emphasis on melodic harmony, has lured me like a bee to honey. The artistry & musicianship so often sublime...thank you for sharing your gifts‼️
