Lets get it - Love DEHH. Was a weak album 4/10. Honestly you could have cut “Gently” and everything after it and it would have been a massive improvement. Bloated and Nap rap.
That’s a big problem with modern releases. Donda was even more bloated with filler. It’s like they learned nothing from those Double Disc Late 90s albums.
@@Dog-999i I think one difference from the old double disc albums is that they'd at least try a larger variety of sounds. Nowadays I feel like the artists will remake six versions of the same "vibe" in hopes that one of them will be the best. It's like a writer not knowing when to cut out a weaker chapter to focus on the better ones.
Beezy speaks the least sometimes, but when he says certain shit it sums it up perfectly. I honestly feel like Drake has been in cruise control for the last few years.
There were only like 5-6 songs that I can go back and listen to, but the rest of the album was meh. I was expecting Take Care/Nothing Was The Same vibes. My top 5 are: 1. First Person Shooter w/J. Cole 2. Slime You Out w/SZA 3. Drew a Picasso 4. Away From Home 5. Members Only w/PARTYNEXTDOOR
I genuinely feel like overtime Myke has warmed up to drake he’s not even hated his last few albums which is a record. I think he should revisit take care tbh
myke just fickle, like dude how does any of drake’s new shit hold a candle to any of his old shit. cause if we’re being honest I Believe he Got Worse as a songwriter.
I rate this album a 6.5/10. It's main issue is that the features and the production are the highlights of the album, and Drake is the least exciting part of the experience. Frank Ocean carried 'Virginia Beach', Yeat's energy & flow switch up was the most memorable part of 'IDGAF', and JCole absolutely WASHED Drake on 'FPS'. Drake's lyricism has also not evolved, and relies too much on mostly slick & corny lines with no substance besides maybe "Away From Home".
Drake stopped trying to make good music a long time ago. Not even talking about intricate music or inspiring music. It’s just money making for him. He doesn’t care if people don’t think he’s good as long as people pay him. It shows
I agree with Ralph. We all want that 'rap' album from Drake which we should probably give up on now, but this album doesn't even have that bonafide hit. In the streaming era of course a few songs will go number one for a week or so just off the buzz, but that doesn't mean they are certified hits. This album is too long and has no replay value imo.
Virginia Beach is apparently where one of his girls lives, Lilah or whatever her name is. Whole thread was made over on the Drizzy subreddit, someone did the detective work 🤣
This album was rough to go through entirely. There's highlights I'll come back to, but Drake clearly needs to leave the "album-a-year" alone. Incomplete concepts that go nowhere, drawn out relationship drama, multiple genres used badly or nonchalantly to a tiring length. Separate from J. Cole, awkward feature uses. I mean, the album is called For All The Dogs, but the album cover is a "baby goat." For a supposed "hard" album of past relationship issues. 😵💫 Didn't feel like a culmination of a Top 3 artist's 20 year work or talent, more if a arduous hour- long drudge through Drake's DMs. Drake has made incredible music, not taking that away from him. But as Nick said, "McDonald's Music" is it. And Drake made a bad version of that. A #6 order with medium Sprite and stale fries.
Funny but the only reason I care about Drake at all is because of DEHH. First video I watched on the channel was the Views review and it had me rolling. Been a fan of DEHH since then. Haven't listened to a Drake album since Take Care (he isnt for me) but I know them all by name from watching these reviews. Thanks for the years of great content guys!

Feefo saw Drake wearing that ICP jersey and thought, "Finally, we're getting a juggalo album from Drake!". Nope. Feefo didn't get what he wanted. That juggalo Drake inspired by Feefo's favorite, ICP.
Dope review guys! Yo, I think y'all should check out Teezo Touchdown. Dude actually seems to care about his craft and has beautiful messages in his music. If anything, its just fun to listen to. He switches between rock, hiphop, RnB, and even throws in some funk here and there and it oddly works. Don't go into it thinking he's a rapper, but a dude who enjoys music and finding his own lane.
If for all the dogs was just a overall rap album. And he had songs on there like. Omerta, diplomatic immunity, when to say when. 5 am in Toronto. The album would of been 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Drake is going to have his “give the old heads what they want” moment eventually, most likely towards the tail end of his career But I will say that it is getting a bit played out his new “my albums are playlist” formula. I think for me this one works the least. Who knows 🤷♀️ maybe he’s been saving up joints, or maybe he really needs a longer break.

Yo I'm hoping you guys review the album "burning desire" by Mike. Dope project that came out this year! And I'm suprised I haven't seen u guys review him before .
8 am in Charlotte is amazing
The fact y’all complementing the rapping on here is crazy lol but the r&b was definitely fire
Rapping: 8am Charlotte, Drew A Picasso, First Person Shooter, Away from Home, Amen,Fear of heights, Daylight, IDGAF,What would Pluto Do.This is better than CLB, Her Loss, And Scorpion. People complain and see they want the old Drake, but hated views, nothing was the same, take care. Then people say he needs more mature music but those same people said Mr Moral and To Pimp A Butterfly was Mid, Called Hov 444 Mid, Jcole 4 your eyez only a Sleeper, Every Chance the rapper album Since Coloring Book got called Trash. They say they want the old Drake , then say he keeps giving us the same thing....Smh aka quit asking Beezo aka Dilla Jr what he thinks about a Drake Drop, He wont listen if it aint Boom Bap 😂😂😂
When it comes Drake, Ken and Beezy are my spirit animals!
“Under your skin like an orange peel” - Drake
“whipped and chained on you like american slave”😂
The most disappointing part is that drake still has potential to make great music but he just keeps selling out.
Been here since the beginning of this channel. Love that y’all still going.
myke saying the drake album wasn't bad in a xasthur shirt... what a sight
Beezy speaks the least sometimes, but when he says certain shit it sums it up perfectly. I honestly feel like Drake has been in cruise control for the last few years.
i personally watch these drake reviews just for the laughs
Completely agree with Feefo. Forget about the rapping. There’s not a lot of hits or slaps on this album.
Yeah very few
I liked Feefo's perspective on this one
The review we waited for
Drake snapped on 8am in Charlotte, and that’s the best I can say about this album.
There were only like 5-6 songs that I can go back and listen to, but the rest of the album was meh. I was expecting Take Care/Nothing Was The Same vibes. My top 5 are:
1. First Person Shooter w/J. Cole
2. Slime You Out w/SZA
3. Drew a Picasso
4. Away From Home
It shows
Ken put the screw interlude as a standout track 😂😂😂😂
I agree with Ralph. We all want that 'rap' album from Drake which we should probably give up on now, but this album doesn't even have that bonafide hit. In the streaming era of course a few songs will go number one for a week or so just off the buzz, but that doesn't mean they are certified hits. This album is too long and has no replay value imo.
I haven't listened to Drake consistently since like 2008 when he was still unknown and was actually hungry.
I agree with y'all Drake's music has been declining since Views.
If you're reading this is still drakes best album
Drake fans keep pretending like it didnt happen..
If I’m ranking Drakes albums this at the bottom with honestly nevermind. It’s an average album at best with some highlights.
It’s above CLB in my opinion, this his 3rd worse album tho
@@mlamont235Champagne Poetry, Knife talk, and no friends in the industry for me clears almost every song on this album for me
Honestly is better
@@dominiquesmith7680 Idk cause FPS, Away from home, What would pluto do, Polar opposites and Fear of heights are all equal to those tracks you listed
Virginia Beach is apparently where one of his girls lives, Lilah or whatever her name is. Whole thread was made over on the Drizzy subreddit, someone did the detective work 🤣
I knew Myke was gonna like this album I swear 😂
Generally he just goes against what Twitter says
@@Stonymontana14 twitter ain’t always real life buddy 😂 see thru the bs
This album was rough to go through entirely. There's highlights I'll come back to, but Drake clearly needs to leave the "album-a-year" alone.
Incomplete concepts that go nowhere, drawn out relationship drama, multiple genres used badly or nonchalantly to a tiring length. Separate from J. Cole, awkward feature uses.
I mean, the album is called For All The Dogs, but the album cover is a "baby goat." For a supposed "hard" album of past relationship issues. 😵💫
Didn't feel like a culmination of a Top 3 artist's 20 year work or talent, more if a arduous hour- long drudge through Drake's DMs.
Drake has made incredible music, not taking that away from him. But as Nick said, "McDonald's Music" is it. And Drake made a bad version of that.
A #6 order with medium Sprite and stale fries.
This was actually a pretty fair review. I'm shocked
I’m legit shocked at the opinions lol. Thank you Ken and Feefo. I’m a long time fan but the brother falling off man. This album was a strong 6/10. There’s not a single on this album
🧢
@@natewilson8what’s the hot single from the album?
@@m3staken9836/10 is 🧢
@@rrogers2370 lol i’d probably give it a 5. perfectly mid
@@m3staken983 so a album need to have a hot hit single to be good 🤔🤫😅
Hey, have these guys ever did a review of story of Adidon??? does anyone know?

I think this what you looking for
@30:02 that moonwalk talk had me crying laughing man 🤣🤣
Haven't listened to a drake project since Views and I never got to the end of that
away from home is one of if not the best song on the album to me so crazy the Mike doesn’t like that song but likes the slbum
I’m just cool on Drake period…..Music, DM’z & everything. If you got 24 songs on album & only a few joints is tough you not really about this music.
I quit taking myke seriously a while ago bro just isn’t honest he just wanna be on the opposite side of whatever Twitter saying, his hipster ahh gotta go
This take really baited him out
Shoutout to Myke repping the Xasthur shirt. \m/
The only dog that I respect DMX a first album so I like some of the tracks on the album
I don’t understand these guys when it comes to Drake. They go in on NWTS and IYRTITL, but somehow they think this shit is decent/good
They didn’t go in on IYRTITL breezy and Myke was just ehh on it, but myke used to say he liked drake less as a rapper and more of a r&b guy idk if he still feels that way but if so I’m not shocked, and they all like NWTS too besides myke
@@romaretaylor9953 lol, none of what you said is accurate (other than the Myke preferring R&B Drake part).
Are y'all gonna review the new Doja album?
nah
I would love for them to redo the if youre reading this review im sure their opinions would change on it alot after watching that review it got way too much hate in my opinion and i think its cause of the time it came out
The more you listen to ANYTHING you’re gonna like it more lol
I'm bumping this all year 🤷🏻♂️, just like every album. I go to Drake for a Drake album and that's what he gives every time. I agree with Rod.
THIS ALBUM WAS SO MIDDDDDDDDDD
I just came here to see the people shit on drake in the comments section as always. Shoutout to the guys though. Been consistent for years now
If for all the dogs was just a overall rap album. And he had songs on there like. Omerta, diplomatic immunity, when to say when. 5 am in Toronto. The album would of been 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
I think he'll drop that type of album when we actually wont check for it
@@skabzemortal probably.
This is For All The Poodles
When will Nick Grant get an album review for Sunday Dinner? It is an album of the year candidate!
Lmao that comment about Drake being McDonalds music is hilarious 😂
Drake is going to have his “give the old heads what they want” moment eventually, most likely towards the tail end of his career
But I will say that it is getting a bit played out his new “my albums are playlist” formula. I think for me this one works the least.
Who knows 🤷♀️ maybe he’s been saving up joints, or maybe he really needs a longer break.
Drake had some funny weird bars about Czechoslovakia 😂
Yall mentioned yaughty and I think y'all should do a track review for the two tracks him and JID put out. They're so dope.
That happy drake line put fefo in a factory reboot
Not a bad album but I'm surprised at what Drake is getting criticism for now when he was doing this since Hotline Bling.
Hotline Bling was a fucking jingle
@@91Definiteexactly and he compromised the actual art to chase charting and streaming numbers instead of actually building on the craft. Sold out entirely which is hard to do when you're already a commercial artist.
Drake should drop an album of all the time songs he made previously . Add a few more new ones and rap heads would eat it up.
His best album had 10 songs that were not his. Drake fans think like apple consumers. Even Travis Scott is falling off he's lucky Mike Dean is there and the beat is what carried his career.
I like 3-4 songs on this album, that’s it 🤣😭
