I became a huge fan of Drake when I heard "Room For Improvement" in early 2007 but became Drake stan when he dropped "Comeback Season" later that year. This is "Comeback Season" and "Room For Improvement" Drake with a mafioso twist.
Scary Hours 3 is definitely my favorite Drake project since "Nothing Was The Same" even though SH3 a EP. It's his first straight Hip-Hop project, and great production from Yachty, Alchemist,Ovrkast,Boi 1Da
Actually this is his third straight Hip-Hop project since his first two mixtapes Room For Improvement (2006) and Comeback Season (2007). When Drake joined Wayne he started to dumb down his lyricism to make hit records.

Ehhh, I don't know if it's in the "projects of the year" discussion, but it's nice to see him release something good. There's been a lot of stellar records this year.
Been watching dead end hip hop since Carter 4 review in 2011. I was the biggest lil Wayne fan on earth and I still instantly liked y’all’s channel after watching the Carter 4 review. Have been a fan since then. 2011-2023 moving to 24.

To start 2nd track he did say his engineer said when he walked in to make this “I thought you was quitting.” And drake said yea I got to quit again cause I’m starting again. Ken was right just go back and listen
I agree with Ken that this sound is trendy. A lot of people are going back to rap that sounds like this. Alchemist especially is getting a lot more popular the last few years. I know cause I was surprised when my little sister in high school told me everyone her age is listening to Alchemist projects now and that style
I’m happy that this sound is regaining popularity, but people are acting like this is brand new. It’s not. That underground, grimey, gritty sound has been around for decades. Alchemist is one of the greatest producers for a reason
Mach Hommy Flows, Dilla Inspired Beat, Common level of Storytelling, 4 Verse Songs, No Hooks. This project took me back to Comeback Season Ignant Shit level of Heat from Drake. Fantastic.
Drake is one of the best rappers ever to do it, WARTS and all. Hes got just as many classics as he does trash. “They shout out my failures and whisper my accomplishments.”
"It's a coinflip as to whether a project is a classic or a piece of straight garbage, so that makes him the GOAT!!! unlike all those other rappers WITHOUT bombs and trash!!!"
It’s crazy, I like drake rapping rapping shit like it’s cool but his slower rap songs like lust for life as an example and his singing songs like a night off is what stands out and stood for me early on.
My issue is that when Drake puts this out hes lauded with praise and acclaim but when another rapper puts this out its boring and "lyrical miracle." Drake was basically rapping like Cordae on this.
I love when Drake raps. When he wants to do it, he's one of the best in the business. But I also understand why he doesn't wanna do it all the time. Asking him to only rap when he can sing too would be like asking a basketball player to only use his right hand when he's just as good with his left. That being said, he went hard on this project. Loved it.
I found my gripe with Drake. When he giving bars, it's kind of dry/ boring to listen to. When he's giving us a fun flow/ delivery, the lyricism suffers. The last track was the only one that really caught my attention and even that dissipated by the 2nd minute. The songs were a chore for me to get through, as per usual
Bro Ken really managed to rationalize Drake making Drake type music and adding in some rage cuts as not being trendy enough, so he decided to fall back on what all the kids are listening to these days: griselda brand boom bap
@@crowing3886 I never said anything like that. To answer the streaming question: It does count towards the original album, since it's considered a deluxe, it's the new thing, even Kendrick, he went back and added the heart pt 5 to the album and it helps with streaming numbers etc.
Blows my mind how people don’t realise he tries to please everyone of his fans.. rich baby daddy is an awful song. That shit was a smash hit & loved by his female audience. 8am in Charlotte is loved by old heads & rap fans , with females not messing with it. if he did an album of just this half his audience aren’t messing with it. He does an album full of R&B / singing half his audience won’t mess with it. Which is fine. But y’all need to realise why he’s doing it all.
I believe Drake is strategic. He likes to put out songs that will get radio play or Instagram captions or things that easy to bump to on a repeated basis
I loved this EP. Easily some of Drake’s best material. He was rapping and hungry. Love DEHH hope you guys never stop 💯 Also Ken is wrong about the sound being trendy. It’s not and it shows because these are some of Drake’s least streamed songs in his entire catalogue. Backpack Drake unfortunately doesn’t sell like pop Drake.

“Radio is king again, billboard got me regulated”
Ken: Drake said billboard was hating on him….
15:34 😂😂😂😂 Ken + Myke
I believe Drake is strategic. He likes to put out songs that will get radio play or Instagram captions or things that easy to bump to on a repeated basis
I gotta come back and do something
-Drake probably
Half black half Jewish
the best to ever do it
Wish Beezy was on this
I loved this EP. Easily some of Drake’s best material. He was rapping and hungry. Love DEHH hope you guys never stop 💯
Also Ken is wrong about the sound being trendy. It’s not and it shows because these are some of Drake’s least streamed songs in his entire catalogue. Backpack Drake unfortunately doesn’t sell like pop Drake.
I love Mike's ad lips 😅
Nah, I gotta come back AND DO SOMETHIN
The “Drake if you’re watching…” segment makes me think he should have called it ‘For All the Dads’
But did Beezy like it 🤔
Drake and LeBron are alike they just chilling they don’t have to really try to hit they bored in they career
Oh shi myke c town liking a Drake project
Best project Drakes done in at least 5 years. He’s still lying about all the tough talk but at least it wasn’t ridiculous lies.
10* years
When you have money you get to do just you want. The rich are gangsters when needed to be. You have money 💴 look at Diddy he was never a street nigga but he have goons
How u know, you question every gangsta rapper talking about killing every opp in site like 21?
how you say he is lying? You need to research who's backing him
BEST DRAKE WE HAVE HEARD IN YEARS
People really made Drake pull a eminem. People shit in for all the dogs soo bad he had to make a whole other project in a week 😂
Like how people shitted on revival so bad he made kamikaze.
Thanks goes to Joe budden for pissing him off 😂
People wanna hate all they want on joe but drake loves an values joe opinion on his music. Yall forget when Joe didn't like Views drake dissed him an dropped a whole diss track to him.
He didn't like fatd an dropped a whole ig thesis 😂
Tyler did the same thing with the estate sale
