I haven't done crochet in 20 years. Your video has allowed me to pick it up again. DO NOT change anything about your videos. They are PERFECT especially for beginners. I want to thank you for the generous sharing of your time to create these videos.
So flipping cute and clever! Thanks for such a clear, "I can actually see what she is doing" video with perfect pacing! (as are all of your videos!) I've used this on blankets, to edge clothing & pillows and more. So sweet and so fun to customize! THANK YOU
I have, in the past, watched your videos for tips on crocheting. Today I was working on my nephews baby blanket, and looked at vids, found this one and love it. I look to see who made it and I was like of course it was from her!!
3 days ago I decided I wanted to learn crochet. Out off all I found yours grt to follow. At the moment I'm not doing anything fancy but followed your sun burst squares for blanket. I'm going to keep at it and like to give good go at these pom poms. going to stick with you in hope to learn allsorts n able to do all the pretty garments you do. fab teacher thanks laux
Thank you for the great tutorial! This pom pom edging was so helpful, very grateful to be able to learn it with your help. So much nicer than pom pom edging you can buy and much better for a handmade gift. Thank you.
I have almost finished my first blanket doing the granny squares and I was going to do a scalloped edge, but then I saw this tutorial and have completely changed my mind! Lol I love this so much!
I love it !!!I am, only 11yrs girl I love to crochet your video helped me . Don't not change anything about your videos thanks blessed happy Christmas and new year
Beautifully demonstrated and explained. After watching a few times, I was able to crochet along with you; replicating the pattern perfectly. Thanks heaps.
Thank you for your time and your patience with going slow enough to see your work. I do realize that I can set the speed I need if I need to repeat the video. I am using these little pompoms to make a Minnie Mouse purses for a couple of 6 year old.
SmittenKitten the basics really. Start by learning the stitches, like single crochet, double crochet and what not. I'm sure Bella Coco has excellent beginner tutorials. It might take a while, but just keep at it. You'll learn eventually. I never thought I'd do more than simple squares and blankets, but I just crocheted a dress
CompletelyIncomplete Amazing, thanks!! I can knit a little, which I learned via videos, so I'm going to try my hand at crochet. Thank you for the encouragement!
Anyone else now traumatized by that old youtube background music? 😂😂😂 I always come back here for a refresher and shudder everytime I hear it. 😊 I think we ALL used it. Doesnt stop me from coming back to a classic tute though. Thank you!!!
Hello I just want to say thank you your tutorial has been amazing and I did it for a blanket for my auntie and its finished the blanket off just beautifully so big big thank you xxxx
Hi, Thank-you so much for your tutorials , they are so informative and easy to follow. Thank-you for your time and effort and expertise makes my crocheting do much more pleasurable ❤️❤️
Thank you for this tutorial. I was looking for an edging for C2C blanket. It took me a few times to get it right. I was forgetting to completely close the top of the second pom pom and then wasn't sure where you were connecting the two together. After watching a couple f times, and trying it a few times, I finally got it. I love the way it looks! It will be donated to Angel Babies.
Thank you for such clear instructions. This so cute . I made a square table topper for Halloween and needed a cute border. this is perfect and so easy.
So so pretty. Tired of doing the same borders. This is a wonderful challenge. My first complicated pattern was a video by an English lady, it's only fair that another English lady shows a pretty complicated border. Going to use it on my current blanket.
Jill Neary Hi Jill. No i didn't film my finished blanket. But i did do a blog post over on my blog and posted a picture on instagram. The pattern i used was the sunburst pattern.
Hello, I've just watched your video and it looks really simple, great tutorial! I have one tiny question. I've just finished a blanket for my bed and I wanted to do this edging but I think I'll die doing it due to its size. Is there a way of doing this pompom edge but NOT on every single stitch? How can I do it skipping stitches? I hoe my question is clear. Thanks in advance for your kind reply!!!
I love your video and I have completed a baby blanket using the sunburst pattern. I just love it and I'm going to use the pom pom border but I'm just wondering if you have a left handed version of the pom pom border.
Found you in 2021 & I love your Pom Pom it’s just what I needed for a baby blanket I’m making to gift to a special nurse and her new born baby girl ❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕
Thank you for this great tutorial Bella Coco. I am making a baby blanket in pink and lilac for my daughters friend. I have an idea and would just like to ask your opinion if you don't mind please. I am thinking of trying to put on two rows of pompoms 1pink & 1 lilac. not so that they are 1 on top of the other but on the same row. Do you have any advice please?? Thank you so much for all your tutorials and for any input you may have for me. Sheila from Leicester UK
Attempted this one today and although it was an easy video to follow and I picked it up quickly, I wasnt happy with my pom poms, they seemed gappy and flat? Ive tried using diffrent tension as well as size hooks but the same thing happens... and advice? Thanks
I was going to suggest sizing down your hook but as you say you've already tried this, you may just need to manipulate the pom poms into shape :-) It may also be that the yarn you're using isn't quite right; you could have a practise with a different yarn to see if you get a better result. :)
