They look awesome girls. I did something like this with light globes many many years ago and they lasted for yeas as well. I used a paint that could cope with being heated and globes with low wattage. Beautiful work. Namaste;🙏 Love and Light 🤗🥰🤗💜❣💜
New subscriber here. Nice video of Mom & Daughter experiment crafting together! I am a beginner at acrylic paint pouring, so watching this video was fun. TFS
Fluid-Art.co sells TLP pigments (This Little Piggy) and well as Stuck Up Pigs (SUPs - chameleon pigments) which are both pigment powders. You can use pigments for just about anything, I mix them with special house paint and varnish to use in blooms. You can also mix them in resin.
These were custom colors I made using a variety of brands/colors but for the most part it was mostly Liquitex Basics and Golden I believe. I also use Amsterdam, Arteza, and Artist Loft as far as tube paints. I use a lot of pigment powders for my blooms, This Little Piggy pigments.

Lovely ornaments. How long did they need to dry before varnishing them?
I’m so sorry it took so long to reply! I let them dry for a few days before spraying them.
Thanks. I made some and waited only a day. It we have a dry environment so it worked.
What are they for ( stuck up piggies) or that what it sounded like?

What kind of spray varnish do I use?
I use Winsor and Newton high gloss. I did about 3-4 coats.
What makes it permanent to the ornament?
The paint just sticks on it. Once it’s dry I spray varnish on them.
What brand and type of paint do you use?
These were custom colors I made using a variety of brands/colors but for the most part it was mostly Liquitex Basics and Golden I believe. I also use Amsterdam, Arteza, and Artist Loft as far as tube paints. I use a lot of pigment powders for my blooms, This Little Piggy pigments.
