Your ornaments are beautiful! I look forward to making some myself. I bought some clear bulbs at DT and was going to decorate them with paint on the inside, but I will definitely try your technique. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year!
You can definitely do whatever you want!! I do that in this vid but the other way around :) Take a watch!! ua-cam.com/video/oMF6Ww8v9co/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
How long do you let the paints sit prior to this pour? Did you add Floetrol or anything to any of the colors? I assume nothing added to your base Whte??? I love this.
These paints were mixed the day of the pour. The colors were made with the Sheleeart bloom technique. Nothing added to the white base its straight out of the can. Thanks so very much!!
FYI, Hobby Lobby and Michael’s begin running half price sales on boxes of ornaments in September. I just bought 2 boxes of 3.5” ornaments (8 per box). They came to about $.60 each.
Very pretty. Wondering why you didn't just stand the ornament up in the Styrofoam and pour over the entire ornament at once. I have done it that way and the paint does cover the whole thing. Love your choice of colors
Thank you! I don't stand the ornament up because for this design I can't, if I did that with this technique it wouldn't look the way I wanted it to, which is this way :) I do have a video with the ornament standing up in Styrofoam and I think that is what you are talking about. Still if I used that method my design would not be this and this is what I was going for. Thanks for your opinion though :)
Hi! So glad you provided a link to the rubber stoppers. But I have no idea what SIZE to order. What size do you use to fit inside the clear ornaments please?
Very beautiful- thanks for sharing your talent! Can I use my regular white acrylic paint that I use in acrylic pours as my base or does it have to be house paint?
Cathy, It takes about 12 hours for the first side to dry, then pull the tape. Tape off the design you have just painted and paint the other side. So rewarding when they are complete! I guess I could just paint the back or pour polycrylic inside and coat with glitter.
Everything I used is in the description box. This is the bloom technique. You add an untinted house paint and varnish to the acrylic colors and pigments if that's the question. Also, the paint on top is acrylic paint mixed with Australian Floetrol. Also you use a house paint for the pillow/base. I hope this helps. @@shirleydesrochers3319
why did yoou cover half? then do you et it dry and peel off the tape and then do you tape over the new paint? won't it pull up with the paint. Did you put a top coating. thank you. The video was super low so hard to hear. ty
I covered the painted first part with plastic wrap and tape and it worked to not pull the paint off. I also sealed with minwax polycrylic - link is in pinned post of this video. I know the quality of audio was poor. I was having some issues with my microphone. This year's will be better! Promise. Thank you!
Since you have a wonderful system why don’t you put the stick in the top you will be able to do both sides at once. Not that you need suggestions since your ornaments are gorgeous
If I put the stick in the top of the Styrofoam? Standing upright? Sorry, I don't exactly get what you are saying. If so, the paint would just run down and I wouldn't be able to keep the composition that I blew out. It needs to be flat in order to achieve what I was going for. Thank u!

LOVE YOUR MUSIC, Great video!!
Thank you so much!! @@joe-annataylor4159
Put a wedge under the stick that you can adjust to compensate for the weight of the paint tipping the ball
I will try that. Thank you!
WOWZA!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙
Thank you so much!!
Absolutely beautiful. Loved seeing the entire process. ❤️
Thank you!!
Beautifully done ❤
Thank you! 😊
Very pretty
Thanks so much!!
This second side is the most beautiful, better than the other side
I think so too!!! :)
Beautiful ! Thank you so much for sharing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm so glad you liked it!
Loved this video so much came back to watch again, again … 😅
You're the best!
Wow, just amazing! ❤
Thank you so much!!!
I have struggled with round ornaments. Thank you so much for sharing your technique with us! 🎨❤️🎨❤️🎨❤️ This is so gorgeous! 😍😍😍
This was my first attempt. I am so happy at how it turned out!! Thank you so much!!! :)
You might want to try a bent coat hanger so you can work from the top of the ball like it hangs from the tree and let it drip from top to bottom.
Beautiful!!!
Thank you!!
So pretty!! ❤ These would make great gifts - I know that I would love to receive one. 🎄🎁
Thank you so much for watching.
This is gorgeous. I've done a lot of ornaments, but never a bloom on ornaments. I'm definitely trying this. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you're going to give the bloom technique a try. Your creativity is going to shine!
That is super cool!
Thank you!! ❤️

Lol I thought it was a nife at first. I didn't have my glasses on. Love the gorgeous ornament.
I wonder if you could do it like a cake pop?
Cake pop? Please tell me more. Thanks ❤️
Hope you’re feeling better soon…❤
Thanks a lot!
Could you use a heat gun or hair dryer on cool to move the paint?
I am pretty sure you could do that. :)
Could you suspend the round ornaments upright so the paint flows to the bottom and pour the paint around the top near where the stopper goes in?
You can definitely do whatever you want!! I do that in this vid but the other way around :) Take a watch!! ua-cam.com/video/oMF6Ww8v9co/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

Yay!!
Hi! So glad you provided a link to the rubber stoppers. But I have no idea what SIZE to order. What size do you use to fit inside the clear ornaments please?
For these I used the 4#
Why don't you use a silicone mat to catch drippings to use the dried paint skins for jewelry etc?
I don't know why I didn't this time. :)
Gorgeous and I'd like to know what type of Styrofoam you're using to stick the skewer in
I just used Styrofoam that came in a box from something I bought. I have no idea. 😉
Very beautiful- thanks for sharing your talent! Can I use my regular white acrylic paint that I use in acrylic pours as my base or does it have to be house paint?
I have never done the bloom technique with a regular acrylic pillow paint. I know it is possible though :) 😀
Thank you 💜
Can you get the same affect with a heat gun vs blowing?
I have never tried it with a heat gun. Let me know how it turns out if you try. :)
These are beautiful. I live in Canada and cannot get the Behr 8300 paint. Will a high gloss enamel deep base be ok?
Thank you Nancy! I am not sure as I have never tried it with that paint. You can definitely try though. :)
These are absolutely beautiful!! What size stoppers do you use?
Thank you! I used a 1#. I had to wrap it with some bubble wrap. I have bought the 4# to use from now on and they work great.
That's quite the process for round ornaments. How long does it take to dry each side?

@@AngeliaBlissArt Thanks for replying so quickly. I loved seeing the whole process.
What kind of pricing do you have on these? Looking for something to make extra money for the holidays. They are gorgeous ❤❤❤
I sell this one for $20
Could you use Pebeo paints for this technique?
You can use any brands of paints for the colors Jolynne. :)
What kind of a styrofoam form is that? How long did you wait before you taped off the first side?
Styrofoam from something I ordered that came packaged in a box. 2 days.
@@AngeliaBlissArt TY
Did you add flotrol to each color?
These paints were mixed with the bloom technique. Should be in the video and description box. I only used Australian Floetrol in the cell activator. 😉
Amazing! What do you use to seal the ornaments so the paint does not chip or scratch?
Thank you! I sealed these with MInwax Polycrylic varnish. Here is the link to that video. ua-cam.com/video/QyMp9U6bO4o/v-deo.html
How do you mix your paints?
The break down should be in the description box.
Is the Behr and JoSonja mix what you used as pouring medium?
Yes, it's the PM for the colors other than the cell activator.
Michael's glass ornaments on sale for $2.50 for a box of 8
Thank you so much for the info! I hope your Christmas was wonderful!!

That’s a lot of paint wasted. Could you catch it in a cup. And use as a grey. Brown base?
Audrey I did repurpose the paint. It was a gray :)
Are the ornaments plastic or glass?
These are plastic but you can use glass too.
What I a cell activator?
The cell activator is the last paint you put on top that creates the cells. It is the thinnest paint.
How much do you charge for each?😊😊😊
@@ReikoScott For these $25 each plus shipping.
After dry. Do you varnish?
@@lydiasmith7994 yes at least 3 coats.
How much is one ornament?
