I love the fact that your brother gave you his Pepsi sign and you've hung it in a very prominet spot . It will forever remind you of finding and finally meeting Steve . Family is so very precious .
There are some times I think, I'm not interested in seeing the new treasures today, and consider skipping watching it - but you always tend to thow something cool into the video, a comment, a backstory, something that makes the video special. This was another example. Your Pepsi sign story was soooo sweet.
we are blessed Alex doesnt use a tripod for these videos, without tripod it makes it much more immersive, Alex knows his details thats what makes his channel so amazing and a beacon in you tube land
What a nice late night surprise! and I love that Pepsi sign. How sweet of Steve. A constant reminder of the good time you had and the good brother you have.
People are always intrigued that twins even though they lived apart can be so similar in interests and mannerism. What surprises me is how you and your brother Steve have so much in common even though you just met and have one parent in common. You would expect identical twins to share a lot of traits but your situation where you don't share as much DNA and still have so much in common.
Just Adored that you put the Pepsi sign up to keep the wonderful memories that your making with your brother. May you have many more blessed journeys to come with your new family's 🙏
Oh my goodness ,you keeping the Pepsi sign and hanging it up in honor of your brother about brought me to tears. I have two wonderful brothers that when we were young, they would play with there race car and train sets and let me ( the baby sister) play too. Thank you for such cool fun memories by just seeing your awesome finds. God bless you!
That Pepsi sign is like the grand prize from the box because it was given to you by your brother and that makes it extra special and priceless!!! The trains were cool, but I really Love the slot car sets!!! I have a 1/32 scale slot car set that I have had since I was 3 years old, I turned 57 today, September 15th, 2022. My set was a give away item from the Dodge dealers in 1968 and my Pawpaw was given the set when he bought a brand new 1968 D100 truck. The set is made by Eldon and says Dodge 3 in 1 Road Race Set. The cars in my set are the Dodge Coronet R/T and Dodge Charger R/T. It also came with an extra body which is a Dodge truck. My set is in like new condition with the original box. I have my Pawpaw's truck and the slot car set. Life is good!!!
❤️LOVING that GIFT from your brother❣️ So very glad all this cool stuff got salvaged from garbage!!! Hate to see good things go to Landfills/dump sites! Happy re-homing. Glad the contents of your very big box did not get destroyed!!! Yes, I agree that shipping between Canada and USA takes soooo very long. And to make matters worse, there is usually no tracking available. I was so relieved when finally received items bought from you through Kastners! Patience is a virtue I strive for. But I HAAAATE waiting and not having information available Love you guys. 💘LOVE your happy happy Joy joy feel good videos❣️ Bye for now from Sabine in south Mississippi USA.🌊🐬🎣🌪⛵️🌝🦐🦀🦂🐠🦚🕊🦋💐
I love the Pepsi sign . That was so very kind of your brother to give it to his little brother and I heard in your voice how much it meant to you also. I am so happy you have siblings they truly are a blessing to have coming from the oldest of eight.
I can not believe somebody threw all these treasures away! Unbelievable! What’s wrong with people…thank God you could save all this stuff.🙏🏻🥰 So sweet from your brother and it looks gorgeous on your wall❣️😍
Such a great story Alex. You and your family are awesome So glad you got to now met your brother. Bet you feel complete now meeting your sister now your brother. So happy for you!!
That was really a shock to see the Zephyr train because my wife and I just did a trip in June on Amtrak's Zephyr line .We flew to Chicago and boarded for a three day two night trip from Chicago to San Francisco through the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas .We had a sleeper room with bunk beds I highly recommend it. Loved your box of goodies.
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 What a fantastic collection of finds. I can't believe what people throw away. Sometimes I get sad when I think about it. So I do the best I can and try not to think about what others have done.
That was so nice of Steve to give you the Pepsi sign. Wow great saves from the trash .That's terrible how the mail handles packages. For what you pay now it should arrive pristine. Great finds. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤.
I just love your brother Alex, and you! I can just feel the love between the two of you as brothers is growing. The Pepsi sign looks great on the wall! Also, I loved seeing the slot car set. In the 60's, my older brother had a whole slot car set up in our garage. It was a built in platform with a couple of chairs set up, and the track and slot cars all set up. He would sit at that thing for hours and run the slot cars around. Even as an adult, he still loves slot cars, Formula One racing, and anything having to do with cars and racing. Great memories, thank you for sharing this one too!
Hi--love to watch most of your videos; I'm not into trains, old toys, etc. I DO like the antiques of course. It kills me when you pass up the glass/dishes sections! But of course, being a guy I totally understand! Love the video on the old jewelry. Hey,, I'm an older female, what can I say! I do like the excursions you take with your family too. Enjoy your "find" and hope you get a nice amount for it all.
Oh my gosh, I rode the California Zephyr when I was 9 (65 years ago). We went from Colorado to Chicago. It was an exciting train trip for a child. Going up to the observatory as we went through the mountains, eating in the dining car where I was given a deck of cards and generally roaming the train. We were allowed to roam more in those days and we did.
I found a book from 1906 for a quarter at a library sale. I find 1980's Era dictionaries in the recycling dumpster. They are great for papercrafts. Tina, Al's wife
My dad bought me that autorama set but it had two Corvettes. I also had two American Flyer locomotives. We lived in Canada before immigrating to the states. My dad built all my train cars from scrap hardwood he got from the pipe organ factory where he worked. He put lights in all the cars and hand painted them.
You had me in tears over that dang Pepsi sign, Alex. Your love and appreciation for your brother is touching. God bless, looking forward to more adventures in Colorado!
Treasures!!!!!! it's so cool that you now have 2 siblings in Colorado and even better that you like them. They both seem like really neat people and have added to your life in more than just profits. I'm happy for you. Not all DNA tests end up as a good thing. XOXOX
OMG... I bought that same rail road spike with the mini train on it for my Dad for Fathers Day when I was 10 years old. (40 years ago) He had it on his desk for many, many years. Wow, thanks for the wonderful flashback memory.
Alex my love, that is some good trash. I love the Pepsi cap from Mexico. The joker doll is rad. The old train sets bring back so many memories. How time flies by. Your garage has so much room to display stuff. Well my angel take care and stay safe 🌹🌈🇺🇸👍🎈🌞🙏🍺❤️🕊😇
I saw a vid of abandoned house explorers and the place they went through (very respectfully) had 1950s and 60s toys. Tanks all over the house, and in the box Erector sets! All I could think of was OMG,
So much for writing FRAGILE on boxes. LOL Why is there always a non-powered dummy engine in AF train sets? I can't believe the Pepsi sign made it through unscathed. What a nice gift from Steve!
The Zephyr is the train that goes from Chicago to San Francisco. It goes through my town in Nebraska. I’ve ridden the train from here to Chicago and back, but haven’t taken it to the west coast. If I had the space, I’d love to have that set! I really like the Pepsi sign, and especially the story behind it.
I love the fact that your brother gave you his Pepsi sign and you've hung it in a very prominet spot . It will forever remind you of finding and finally meeting Steve . Family is so very precious .

Glad you commented on the RR spike. I was wondering if it was from BACK TO YHE FUTURE 🤣 as it was a train running out of track.
The train spike with pewter train is a common souvenir in Colorado! I have one!
I love the Pepsi sign! That's the only pop I drink! That was so sweet of your brother to give that to you!!
Even though Alex didn't meet his brother when they were kids, they still got to play trains together!
Love trains! I worked at the califirnia state Railroad museum for three years.

Hello Alexander. That Pepsi sign looks awesome!

The Zephyr is the train that goes from Chicago to San Francisco. It goes through my town in Nebraska. I’ve ridden the train from here to Chicago and back, but haven’t taken it to the west coast. Very nice thrifted box, Love the Pepsi Sign and the Joker.
I am so happy h aren’t selling the Pepsi sign but are keeping it in h on not if your brother Steve.
My dad has one of those spikes with a little train/ore carts, since he lives near an old mining community. Neato. Those trains look cool.
You can use a 3D printer to make new grips for the capguns.
