As T7 owner, I like the product videos like this to see what’s out there. But the adventure trip videos you guys used to do is what got me to buy my T7 and start doing BDRs and adventure trips. We need another trip video.
For anyone bulding a T7: I dont feel upper crash guards are needed. They increase weight and you can get a set of Rtech plastics which are much more durable than the oem that dont add weight. The radiator is very centrally located and it almost certainly wont get damaged in a fall. Ive dropped my t7 offroad a lot and what I do feel it needs is protection for the water pump housing, skid plate (AXP will do both), radiator guard, handguards. The stock tank has good range and id say just have a couple of fuel bottles or a fuel bag for longer trips where fuel stops are few and far between. Suspension will be great for most stock but id you are an aggressive rider or carrying a lot of fuel and gear on adventure trips you may want to upgrade the front and rear springs.
I really like the off road upgrades but I'm really surprised you didn't do an ABS delete. The rear brakes actually work with the new pads and the delete.
Great video. At least 3 different items I need for my T7 now. I added cruise control from MCCruise to mine and love that upgrade. It's overpriced but worth it.
Have those grips, very comfortable and surprisingly durable. About the fender, it is more aesthetics than other thing, you can raise it and pass trough very thick mud (a 990 broke the front fender off where the T7 with the raised fender didn't even break a sweat). No need to spend your money there...
It's definitely an aesthetic thing, but also peace of mind. I like the low fender looks (my bike is the red Africa Twin in those mud clips) but I had to fully remove it to make it out of there while Justin just hammered down and didn't have to worry about his front brake lines haha! -Blake
@@rmatvmc service items, parts, and accessories. Lately I had been looking to buy an oil change kit, skid plate, and tires. I was able to find your Tusk tires (thanks), but neither of the other items. Would love to be able to source from you guys and I’m sure if you even just organize what you currently have under a Tuareg heading it would help with finding items you already have on your site. Thanks!
The bikes haven't been dropped yet! Thankfully! A high mount exhaust though would be a good idea, that exhaust does hang a little low on these bikes. We just chose to go a different route on this build. Thanks for watching.
Hi, I am unable to find your Tusk soft luggage side rack on your website. Are they not yet available? Also, do you have plans to do replacement wheels? Thanks!
We've had this debate in the office. Justin says "get a KTM if you wanna go fast right off of the showroom, buy a Yamaha if you want it to last" haha he might be a little biased though
The T7 is a great bike, you just need to spend the low cost of another bike to make it really usable? These vids are a great sales tool for people to spend money. I'm sure most of the gear was sponsored for them as well.
T7 have been proven already as a great tourer, but not a do it all bike. If anything is an all round bike it's my fully moded ktm450 rally build. Great conten thou.

If you ever want some Footpegs donated to your next build we would be happy to send you guys a set. Sweet builds.

We're working on it, stay tuned! Glad you're getting out on that T7 though, and thanks for watching!
Both builds are awesome, but I’m more off road, so that would be my pick.

Thanks for your feedback, we love to hear real world experience from other riders out there
Y’all are putting out some killer content 🤙
We really appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Those soft luggage racks on the first bike look seriously cool!
We are excited for the new soft luggage racks! Be watching for a spotlight video on them once we have them in stock.

some great stuff on here. thanks for sharing it with us
Everything Ohlins, tubeless wheels Hahn hubs man it goes on and on. A lot more than the bike cost.

Love your content and shop your site often! Can you please add parts and accessories for Aprilia Tuareg to your site? Thanks!
Thanks for watching and for shopping with us! What all stuff would you like to see for your Tuareg?

Why did you guys not go for a high mount exhaust? Have you dropped the bike a bent the exhaust support?

When are you guys doing a bigger bike build? Kinda lean on add ons for the KTM 1290SAR
A 1290SAR build would be sick! Hopefully we can make one happen
Where did you get the cool Racing block decals for the Black T7? They look dope.
Hit up Attack Graphics - attackgraphics@rockymountainatv.com - email em and they should be able to hook you up with a kit!
When do the soft luggage racks come out?
We should have them in-stock pretty soon! We are just as excited to have them! Keep an eye out for the video. Thanks for watching.

The soft luggage racks will be in stock soon! We don't have plans for them right now, but that could change. Thanks for watching!
1:05 Pol Tarres didn't prove anything on a stock T7. His is heavily modified.
Yea I'd guess its 30kg lighter than stock at least with all premium parts
In other news...time for another cheap bike challenge or multi-day adventure video series. Just sayin'.
We have some things planned. Keep an eye out for those videos!
Another budget build challenge would be amazing
Is the black and white T7 project based on T7 Standard version or Extreme?
It's the standard T7
May as well just bought at GS of some sort and have most of the Mods as standard 🤷🏻 GS900
Where are all these parts made?
Cool builds and bikes but how much did it cost to do all that? Probably 1/2 the price of a T7. Might as well get the 890 for that.
You could if you have a passion for bike sitting 50% in a garage rather than riding it.

@@rmatvmc Oh I agree...I have the itch for a KTM but springing for the 1290 to compliment my Honda 450L

This sounds like a Tusk commercial.

T7's are super capable in stock form, we just wanted to show how awesome they can be when you build em up a little bit.

Only the tenere is missing is cruise control … and because of that, I won’t buy one unfortunately.
Cool! But still not as cool as a V-Strom....
Almost as cool as an Africa Twin... almost.
Tusk Ad 😅
