    I just DIY'ed it. Got a tire from rhe dump with the hub (?) and just added bag of sand and kettlebelld for extra weight. Used my dogs nylon tieout, clipped the two end together and cut up a pool noodle to cushion my back. Zero $$

    Demonstrates it on an asphalt parking lot... “look how quiet it is!” But the site clearly says asphalt etc aren recommended and will void the warranty.

      Plus any fabric sled is going to immediately be ruined by concrete/asphalt. No way it doesn’t.

    Doesn’t that sled wear out really quick on concrete? That’s what it says on the website

    How fast will that sled tear up on normal asphalt?

    • @UnhumanNewman
      @UnhumanNewman Рік тому +2

      Seems like it would pretty fast. I’m gonna have to see some long term, multi surface reviews before I put any money on it

      I don't think there is a happy medium with this. It's either something quiet like this, but will shred. Or heavy duty like metal, but noisy as heck. Or expensive as hell and has wheels.
      If you want cheap and durable use a car tyre. Very simple DIY.

    If your going forward and feel only ankle calves,that is a very CRUCIAL sign your feet-fascia is very degenerated!
    It should be glutes and core that you feel.
    Same for going backwards it should be glutes and core, but ive watch the podcast, so i know for a fact by next year that connection will increase.
    You could experiment with rolling calves 5 minutes before and after and im sure the connection will shoot up,might not sustain but things will make sense of what im saying!!!
    Now going to watch another episode!

      Backwards should be quads, tibialis, hip flexors.. not hamstrings/glutes

      @LifeofRip Рік тому

      @@WideAwakeHuman development of your feet-fascia changes all that!
      All glutes!
      I use to feel what you mentioned until I developed then the athletic ability has taken off to a far superior level i havent imagine!
      Yes i get what majority feels and teaches other,but when your fascia is developed things change and fast!

      @@LifeofRip study the nerves? Wtf are you talking about?? Study the musculoskeletal kinetic chain, not the nerves! Going forward works the posterior muscles; glutes, lower back, calves, and going backwards works the anterior muscles; quads, tib, abs..because you’re moving in opposite directions you’re hitting opposite sides of the body…hope that helps your misunderstanding.
