  • Your golf club should be traveling fastest beyond the ball as you deliver your club head speed to your target for greater accuracy and consistency.

Thank you so much you are a golf genius I watched this video and a couple others of your videos then went to the course I wanted to hit the range but the only way I could play was to go straight to the tee I had spent a ton of time working on distance with no luck swinging way to hard I am a 13 handy cap and average 220 on a good day off the tee ........ today I shot an 80 and averaged 265 off the tee with just this change in thought swinging at what felt like 70% I had two drives over 285 and hit my first par 5 in two ever.... your the man thanks so much anyone looking for distance here is the answer... I promise I would give you a big juicy kiss if you were here lol Thank you, you changed my game

genius video. so many weekend warriors never really improve because they don't know what the club should be doing.

I agree with the two other comments. GENIUS!
I've always thought I approached the golf swing like an engineer - and believed that the top speed needed to be right at impact.
How did you say it? "... along the ground, beyond the ball - that's where golf is played..."
yes. Genius! The difference shows up in the divot! A pro is playing his swing through the divot area. The rest of us try to hit the ball - and THOUGHT the divot happens after the real swing has ended.

Although this is a popular idea it's absolutely not true and attempting to do this is the cause of many golfer's problems. He can do it with a stick but a golf club has a weight on the end and a non-telescoping shaft which means it works completely differently than a stick with no weight. When there's weight at the end of the shaft the dual lever action happens which causes this result to happen although the player did not do it intentionally. The player must attempt to dump all the power before the ball so that actually happens after and that is caused by the dual lever action. Attempting to dump the energy after the ball with the dual lever action will result in disaster as anyone who's tried this with a golf club can tell you. A golf club is not a weightless stick. Every good golfer's club is moving faster before the ball than after it. Every single one! This can easily be measured by the distance the club travels per frame in a video.
