- I'm moving kitchen! This is the last tutorial filmed in this kitchen so I made it a 2-in-1.
Here I'm showing you how to create a textured watercolour effect on the sides of the cake AND how to create a rustic edge rather, than sharp corners. I love both of these techniques so much and hope you do too!
See you soon! x

The rough edge is called “deckled”. Taken from the paper industry 💕
Thank u so much for Ur help. I found this look hard as my OCD didn't like the messy look but love the end result. Loved my cake. Can't share my pic :(

My buttercream doesn’t always come out smooth so this seems like a perfect cover-up 😂 Thank you for the helpful tips!
Do you use Swiss meringue buttercream? If you use American buttercream that's why

Hi Georgia... I’m thinking of getting some acrylic disc’s to help me out with getting my buttercream really tip-top.... would you recommend them!? 😀😊
Love this, how do you decorate with fresh flowers? Are there parts of the flower u have to take off or wrap in a tape? X
Hi Georgia love your videos! Can the Swiss buttercream stay out of the fridge?
How do you make the dummy stick on the cake board? I've tried taping it down to no avail. In the end I used some royal icing to make it stick but there's still some movement when I try to cover the dummy with buttercream.
hi! I love your videos!
would you please show us how to make Korean buttercream?
Yummy Going to Miss you
Beautiful! 🤩👍New subscriber!
Cookie Gift Can Queen sells Sweetex Hi-Ratio shorting on Etsy for home bakers in small quantities for professional tasting icing. Just wanted to share with my fellow bakers a great find!
Do you always need the two layers? I hate my cakes having too much buttercream but still want the watercolour effect with white and milk chocolate icing.
Hi Im the new subcriber to your chanel and love all your videos so muchh but I have some questions. Is it okay to froze the meringue of the cake in normal freezer of my fridge? Because I dont have any specific freezer for cake unfortunately. Is it possible?
Thank you for the video it’s a beautiful cake.
Once the cake is finished, does it need to be refrigerated? I am thinking about transportation
Thank you again
I was going to ask the same question as I need to drive a couple of hours to my best friend's house
Do I need to freeze every time I put up a colour and scrape it??
Thanks for the great tutorial Georgia :) been following you for a while now and have learned a lot.
One question: Do you throw away the frosted dummy cake or is there a way to save all that buttercream used in decorating it?
VegNabz is the dummy cake a real cake??
Mxrinetter_ no, dummy
Beautiful thank!
Can u reuse the dummie after covering it with buttercream? And in that case, how do you do? :)
Lover your cakes, get so much inspiration!! Hugs from Sweden ♥️
Yes you can! Just wash it off and let it dry :)
Couldn't get any edible small fresh flowers so i used pink roses with leaves to place on top & put some gold edible leaves also around the cake.
Beautiful! question are them edible flowers? thanks for sharing 😊
Yes they are!
Do you also put the bowls of buttercream in the fridge?
Do you think that this technique could be done with more contrasting colors? I want to make a pink and green cake, but am worried the colors will get too muddled.
Yes - just make sure each layer is frozen otherwise they will start blending into each other!
What's the name of the background music please?
I have a question do you have to be an artist to be a baler because that's what I want to be when I go to collage
WHAT IS THE CLICKING SOUND IM GOING CRAZY WATCHING THIS BUT I MUST KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS CAKE
It's the camera. I find it methodical and relaxing😩🤣🤣
You could have muted the video and switched on the subtitles?
How to make your cream as white as this please?? I made an Italian meringue cream its a little bit yellowish tint ?
my daily struggle! but using half butter, half shortening konda helps with the color then u can add a bit of white gel color
I tried making this cake decorated with sugar flowers i bought.☺
Don't know how to send u the finished product, georgia.
Start at 7:05.
am i the only one that noticed the cake in the background
How can i use liquid color without changing consistency?
you can’t sorry. invest in gel or paste colourings
