  • This is a DIY explanation on how to remove the butterfly valve inside the turbo outlet flange to turn it into a high flow outlet for your 94.5-03 7.3L Ford Powerstroke. For those doing this task, this is a great time to install a KC Turbo compressor wheel, 360 bearing kit, and upgraded turbine wheel balanced assembly (see link below). If you are not quite comfortable doing this, or you dont have the proper tools, then the next link below is for the genuine Garrett high flow outlet flanges for both the 94.5-97 and early 99-03 model years.

    What about repairing the solenoid that mounts into the bottom of the turbo pedestal? Such as what are good and bad ohms when you test it?
