I hear ya!! Definitely feeling priced out of anything I would be interested in as well. At least I was able to buy a few watches before prices went too crazy.
It’s beyond belief, and there’s no end in sight. I’m out of the game now, save winning the lotto. So glad I got in when it was realistic. Good luck on finding something you love. Cheers.
Subbed! A word of advice. You should wear a short sleeve shirt when working with rotating assemblies. Don't want your shirt getting caught in the lather while spinning. Take care!
when you did the waterproof test you could hear the radio in Italian, are you a laboratory in Italy??? congratulations on the work, on my seadweller it didn't go so well!!!
It’s a rolex tool been in the shop since before I worked here. Probably difficult to find. I’m sure you could make one. With some rod stock a drill and a file.
CW21 here and i definitely heard that Fuuu***kkk at 13:04. I have been there many times! Great video and from one watchmaker to another keep it up!
Thanks
Fantastic work my friend, love the 16600 model, back when Rolex made real tool watches.
Thanks I definitely like the five digit model era or Rolex models
Very satisfying video to watch and excellent work, your one of the few people I would let touch my Sea Dweller!!
Thank you, I very much appreciate the compliment!
I love the 16600 seadweller. The big brother to the submariner! Great video!
Thanks 🙏🏼 love the sea dwellers
Looks like new!
I'm about to give up finding a 126660 B as the prices go up $1000/month

Yes! Thank you 😊 it definitely gets cold in the office here. But, of course I rather be cold than loose an arm. Lol
Beautiful work.
Thank you
Thanks, Fabio. Really enjoyed the video as usual.
Wow thank you. Chris

Hi 👋 thanks so much! It’s the watch I wear the most!
Super job, you can be proud!
Thanks!
Did you mean 22grit or 220? Always wondered how the top of lugs were restored to the same factory grain.
220
@@Timesradical thank you👍
Good job.
Awesome stuff, thanks for the compliment!
Hey Mate,
Whats the Name of the Wheel under the sanding paper?
Greetings
I believe it’s a hard Artifex wheel
@@Timesradical thank you. Greetings
Super
Thank goodness
Hi, which tool did you used to remove and re-assembly the gas escape valve?

Rolex replaced mine and it sticks out about half a mill on the side closest to the bezel… annoyingly.. great work mate!
They (RSC NY) polished mine along with the side of the case during service. As a Watchmaker I was very annoyed. Nothing was done. @@Leftystrat
Sadly there’s no evidence of the factory chamfering left on those lugs anymore. I own a 95 16600 and my chamfers are still like new.
Sounds about right
You can restore them. I use a mirror polished carbide steel rod ran down the edges repeatedly. It smooths the chamfers back.
