The background music is severely annoying, A good instructional vid that I could only watch muted and subtitles on
Thanks, I appreciate the honesty. I watched the video a few weeks ago just to look back on it and thought the same thing. I was in a phase where I was learning how to add free music to the videos so I went in way too heavy on it. Haha thanks again I really do Appreciate the comment. I was laughing at this video a few weeks ago it’s so long and bazaar with the music lol
So good to watch, love your work! Thanks for making & uploading this video. Especially interesting for me since I have a 16570 and it’s my favorite!
Glad you enjoyed the video. Much appreciated. I was very curious about how this was done as well before, I learned.
If you had a light source behind the bezel/disc, wouldn't that be helpful for alignment?
I can't believe that thing doesn't have a wheel to fine-adjust the angle.
I think clear coat over the black numbers would have made them look better.
I’ve seen so many terrible done bezels. In my ignorance, I had let someone butcher my bezel. Ended up sourcing a brand new one. Good to see the job done right. Looked amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it. The work is good.
Fantastic video. Love your precision and mastery in your workmanship. Also, enjoy the fading in and out of music you’ve added to the videos! Awesomeness
Great! Glad you liked the video. Definitely improving the quality is priority. Super time consuming to juggle the volume of work while creating the videos on the side.
Really good refinishing and lovely watch thanks for the video
Thanks for being here!
I love the thumb nail, but what about rags to mediocre? This dude fixed my raggedy old basic digital Casio, and I love it. So much talent!
Yeah, I was going through a phase with thumbnails at the time. Lol
@Times Radical You gotta catch attention somehow, and folks probably wouldn't have been too interested in watching a cheap watch get repaired anyway.
@@dunningkruger2453 Yo! This is too funny. I feel the same way. The goal is to be the first watchmaking channel to reach 1 million subscribers. The internet is absurd and goals are astronomical.
Jeez I had no idea there were so many surfaces on what I thought was a simple brushed bezel… you got a real good result!
Thank you!
amazing work, great skills...well done
Grazie mille Pipo

Hey man, this is exactly what I asked for in my last comment here. Thanks so much!
Great! I was afraid 😱 another bezel refinishing video would be overkill.
Nice job Fabio!
Thank you
Love these videos
man
Glad you’re enjoying these.
Look amazing
Awesome 😎 thanks for the compliment
How much costs this kind of work?
Haters gonna say it’s worthless because it’s not original 😂
i just did that to my mom's omega constellation today
You kill it every time. Do you think you’ll ever get into laser welding?
Thanks man! I’d love to learn how to laser weld. I’m not sure if we’ll ever get a laser welder at our shop but, yeah if there was some work to do laser welding and was able to buy the machine I’d totally do it.
@@Timesradical I could see that being the move. You’ve got the lapping nailed and combine the laser welding and the lapping and you’ve got quite the setup.
@@986C Absolutely, the dream set up. So many levels to repairs and overhauling watches. Each aspect can be it’s own specialty. And, every job calls for specific results. Very hard to convince my boss to buy the laser welder when sometimes we can just service two or three ladies date just by the time it would take to overhaul a vintage sport watch. Very cool though. Trying to find people in this area that can do the laser welding really adds to the cost of the service too. Love the results we’ve seen before though!! Super amazing.
Hello, congratulations for the video. What ink do you use?
“Testors” Modeling paint 🎨
@@Timesradical Thanks, I use automotive paint. I will try your tip when possible.
Semi gloss black enamel?
Amazing as usual, I was wondering, where did you get thoses expanding collets ? keep up the good work man
Top secret. Wouldn’t be able to find them again if I tried.
@@Timesradical alright thanks 😀
I like the content for sure but the music??? dear lord please get rid of the music man...
Yeah I agree but, I can’t re do it.
I believe it was a major mistake not showcasing the watch before you started... showing all angles and stuff. To maximize the before and after.
Wish I had put it in the intro. I’ll survive
What kind of color do you use exactly?
Semi gloss black Testors
Hello. can you tell me what paint you used to restore the numbers on the bezel?
Testors model paint matte black
First off, great video as always! I have a question, where can i buy a lapping machine and the chucks to hold bezels, casebacks, etc?
Thanks a lot for the compliment this tooling comes from Rolex very difficult too purchase. I’ve asked around and you can maybe find hand held chucks on line from AliExpress but, I’m not 100% sure.
Good video. Loud music is super annoying though while you’re talking.
Yup
Hello
What grain is the paper you use for satining? And also is that a polishing wheel cloth saturated with polishing paste?
Thanks
I do 600 grain you can go 400 but, then you need to be very careful. Yeah just some Luxor super gold or super steel paste
@@Timesradical great job, sir.
Can I have the tools (machine )name which company?
Is this glossy black or flat black Testors?
Flat
What’s the name of the modeling paint?
Testors
Please no music, thanks
Can you replace it with a gmt bezel?
Only if you supply the parts. Crystal ring, bezel and bezel insert. The dial would still say explorer ll and the model # on the case wouldn’t match.
