Great review TA. I have the Moza Air 2 & besides issues with compatibility w/GH4 it is I have discovered slightly too heavy for me for everyday workouts. I will look at the Ronin SC & also the Moza Aircross 2 as perhaps a new set of options.
Thanks Maria for the compliment! The Crane 2 was a good but heavy too. That aside the GH4 body is heavier than the G7 as well. I need to look into more detail into the Moza Aircross 2
Yes, I know the Moza Aircross may be great... what is holding me back is Gudsen... not great Customer service... had/have issues with the power/record button on the Moza Air 2 & didnt check servicing/repair/return options here in Australia.. so it will cost a third-party fee to have it repaired locally.... (more money). What I have done though is bought a Pilotfly H2 (want a H2 45 hard to find). I figured that if you cant connect the GH4 camera to the Gimbal at an affordable price then I may as well get the lightest - strongest - reliable gimbal that has a wonderful reputation. You do need to pre-program it however with somewhere. I like this Gimbal very much & will try to get a Pilot H2 45 (angle improved) when I find one at the right price. They are both exactly the same but the H2 45 allows you to see the screen without having to 'flip roll to 180 degree for GH4 to open LCD screen'. Seeing you video again this morning Paul.. helped as I dont feel as stupid as I did... buying gimbals... until I find the right one. I do intend to get a GH5 later (would make life easier) but as I know I am keeping GH4 as second camera... I decided, it will always want its own Gimbal as well.
The g7 will not be able to balance all points properly because of the viewfinder. The camera needs to be able to be titled up with the lens pointing up and stay without falling forward or backwards, it cannot do this .

It is very useful. I know that -g7 is quite old and the vibrating system is quite terrible. I bought stabilization SMALLRIG for g7 But it doesn't help at all and new Gimball Hardly supports G7. However, after I hope to get Ronin SC soon.
Additionally you should have to buy an accessory to make a gimbal work for you. Point of curiosity: how did you balance it with the rig given the fact that the viewfinder on the G7 is one of the issues balancing it?

What is important is whether the gx1 has a remote control port on it, if so you could buy a cable (seey two latest videos for more info) and connect it.
