  • The delayed inaugural run of the new Blue Pullman took place on Saturday 12 December 2020. The original plan was to run from London St Pancras to Manchester, roughly following the route of the original Midland Pullman as far as possible but Covid-19 put paid to this plan and the passengers were instead treated to a six minute halt at Crewe Station's platform 5.
The return run is captured at Norton Bridge, running seven minutes late.
We also see Avanti West Coast services:
    1A40 Chester to Euston
    9M54 Edinburgh to Euston
1F17 Euston to Liverpool Lime Street

Very nice Rob, amazing that the design has endured for so long yet still looks as modern as the later types and could match their top speed if permitted. Cheers, Brian.

One of BRs great achievements, and to think they were intended as stopgaps until the APT came into service! Not sure how well the new livery will fare, as blue tends to fade, but it certainly looks superb at the moment! Cheers, Rob
