    I just found this video. I live in the states, but I've actually been to this park... at an island camp. You definitely look younger! The music is more uptempo..... "good 'ol boys" having fun. It's interesting to me how little the viewers know about the channel masters....my term. On your channel page, I didn't see a subscription to Lost Lakes. Maybe I missed it. Any way, I'm very glad you continued tripping and putting out new content. One UA-camr says, we should succeed, fail or die trying. Maybe too extreme... but much like "endurance."

    That looked like it was a great trip.
    You’ll get tired of me mentioning that your videography, photography, editing and production is some of the best I’ve seen.
    The fishing looked phenomenal.
    You’re a great canUber driver LOL

    Very special to undertake an adventure with a friend, memories to last a lifetime! I don't comment very often, only when I feel I have something to add. That said, I am a new subscriber and find your videos absolutely stunning! I've solo canoe tripped around the world and understand how special it is to embark on such adventures. Keep bringing these awesome videos, great job and happy travels! Greetings from a Canadian living in Germany!👍🍻

      Thanks a lot! And I really appreciate you defending me earlier! Ive moved to Canada from the Netherland about 10 years ago. Pure for all the untouched nature here. I couldn’t do without it anymore! Thanks for the support!🙏

      Koen Tholhuijsen I hope you take us with you again. Ignore the haters. The music was good and not the same 6 free songs most people use. The almost dialogue free presentation was different from most vlog type videos. Both styles are enjoyable and have their place IMHO.

    Really nice video. Enjoyed it as I reflected on our trip into the park which took as from Leano through the heart of the park and exited in the north, Upper Chukuni Lake

    I really enjoyed your video! I did a 10 day solo a few weeks ago and the park is so beautiful. Red Lake Outfitters is the BEST!

    I can’t believe it! We made the same mistake as you thinking we were on Haven Creek but instead we were in a swamp!!!!!

    • @The-Dutch-Explorer
      @The-Dutch-Explorer  5 років тому

      Ian Hames yeah that was a fun adventure! The map read ‘seasonally shallow’ so I though oh ok, this is it😂 then we hit that little pond and it just came to a dead stop

    • @Hames_tripper
      @Hames_tripper 5 років тому

      Koen Tholhuijsen We went through the pond and dragged for a while further. Just like you, it looked seasonally shallow so we pressed on until I zoomed out on the GPS and realized our mistake. We went from hating life to being overjoyed when realizing we could turn around.

      @The-Dutch-Explorer  4 роки тому

      Thanks Dave! This trip was last years trip in June. temperatures were very hot and dry, I don't know the exact temperatures but it felt probably like 30s during the day and a lot cooler at night. flies were next to non existent last year to my own surprise. I can't say I missed them much!

    Did you guys use an outfitter? My friend and I are looking into a canoe trip either in Woodland Caribou or Quetico

    • @The-Dutch-Explorer
      @The-Dutch-Explorer  4 роки тому

      We did, we used Red Lake outfitters. Now I don’t think that they really exist anymore sadly. Does not make things impossible though!

      Give Albert, of Goldseekers Canoe Outfitting (Red Lake) a call. (807-727-2353; goldseekers.net). They do outfitting, shuttles and can arrange fly-ins into the park. I used them several times over the last 20 yrs. Good people.

    This your your trip, but not what I would do. You release fish and eat crap. Why do all of you you tubers feel they are on a marathon - why not enjoy the camp you have. 99% of you guys do the same thing. I am 77 & watch because I feel like I am with you. Do not know how much longer I can endure this. You have awesome creation but think you have to go on. Fish are an incredible meal - but you you rather eat freeze dried. You guys are absolutely NUTS.

    • @The-Dutch-Explorer
      @The-Dutch-Explorer  3 роки тому

      Not to be rude, but who are you to say I do not enjoy camp? I know fish are an incredible meal and we do eat fish. I am 100% ok with you not liking the amount of fish we let go. I don’t want to eat fish every single day and think these freeze dried meals are awesome! Super light, nutritious and that taste great!
      What makes you think we feel like we are on a marathon? We like to travel almost daily and see more of the landscape and we love the traveling part. To each their own🤷🏻‍♂️ this is the way I like to do things!
