One of the best airshow jets, the F18 would be second in my opinion. They had a pair of F22s at Airventure 2019, great show. Going this year, hope they are there again.
F-22 uses thrust vectoring only as augmentation. F-22 dies not fly any maneuver wich can’t be recovered without TVC for example. Very contrary to Russian jets who use TVC as primary flight controls during certain maneuvers.

Amazing how hard the flaperons, ailerons and stabilators have to work to keep the jet stable in the roll axis while flying at high AOA 🤯
