I didn't expect to break down in tears over this video. 9/11 happened when I was in 6th grade. I'm from New York but had recently moved to California because my dad was stationed at the SEAL base in San Diego. I graduated high school early with a full ride scholarship to a very prestigious law school that i planned on taking, the summer before I was supposed to leave for college I got reminded about how 9/11 effected me and decided one Monday mid summer to go to a recruiting station. On the spot joined the Army. After 10 years of active duty, 2 TBI's, 4 broken ribs, 2 shrapnel wounds, 1 bullet wound and 3 combat deployments later I left service in 2017 proud of what I had done not for myself but for my country. I was proud to be able to give back to this amazing country we live in that allows us to be free in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Recently we have seen people burning flags and trashing the name of their own country in the name of "equality". I have been greatly saddened by this as I'm sure many of us have. Sometimes it really gets me down but when I see stuff like this it makes me so happy, emotional and proud. I feel so proud when i hear people singing the national anthem and I hear those fighter jets streak by full afterburners in a blaze of glory paying tribute to the USA! It really keeps me going hearing the cheers and knowing that a lot of us are still proud and still love our country. I take solace in the fact I'm not the only one that is Proud To Be An American! To the people that were born here as Americans and to the people that have come here to become Americans and are Proud of it! I salute you!
Wow... Thank you so much for taking a bullet for us all! Those recent events due sadden me as well, but we must remember that they are out of sheer ignørance and a lack of understanding. The fact that they're even allowed to express those actions just goes to show just how privileged we are in this country. Don't worry, though. There are tons more of us who are proud of our country as well as people like yourself who keep the whole thing protected! Back in 2012, I started working as a janitor in my senior year of high school, making $8.50 an hour. I moved up to floor tech at $12 an hour, and then I got into machining at $14-18.65 an hour. Then, I ultimately got my cdl and kept moving up from there. I'm now ever so close to making a 6 figure salary with not even a hs diploma (long story, I finished, but failed at the end due to an unfair lack of opportunity). This was all possible due to LORD JESUS CHRIST, and also, the great people in uniform like yourself protecting us to even allow opportunities for such things. Again, I want to thank you for your service, and also, I want to personally thank you for being part of the main reason why I was even allowed to pursue a career that I can not only enjoy, but also to make a great living with. Anyway, I'm sorry to rant so much, I was just inspired by your comment and wanted to show my appreciation. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@Bullet44 Hey I really appreciate that. Means a lot! Trucking and work involving a CDL is extremely important and keeps our country moving! I'm all about differing opinions and views and I believe everyone should be able to express whatever they want. Doesn't mean they are all good ideas or should be acted on but conversation is extremely important especially when you have an opposing view or solution to a problem than someone else. Without communication things break down. A marriage without communication ends up in a divorce and a country without communication ends up as a wasteland. As an Aussie, my greatest dislike of these MAGNIFICENT PATRIOTIC FLYOVERS AND ANTHEM is singers trying to cram as many notes into a single sylable as humanly possible. The "properly" sung US Anthem is the most wonderful, meaningful, heart-felt l Anthem I have ever heard - brings tears to my eyes every time - and the thunder of those Jets - the sound of FREEDOM.
As an American from the Mile High City, I agree! I dislike it very much when they try to improvise the anthem by moving the high and low notes and changing the melody. The original is the absolute best version for a reason..
@@SabatonFan-r6k You might be right, it just seems strange that military authorities would authorize putting 50 aircraft like that in the air just for a flyover… Actually to me, the thought of the cost of pulling a stunt like that is a total waste.
Amen
Regardless I really appreciate your kind words alot of trolls on the Internet and just miserable people in general so I thought twice about even posting this comment but I have thick skin and am comfortable with myself so I can take the trolls but what really brightens my day is comments like yours so, thank you.
Thank you for serving sir 🫡
@@sofakingraw4149 I appreciate that. Thank you.
I love all these aircraft, but the Raptors are just so stunningly impressive, and beautiful.
The b2 will always be the top most goosebump flyover of all time. Imo of course.
That B2 coming out of the cloud like a ghost.
Number 5 is the most aircraft i have ever seen in the air at 1 time.
Very impressive!
Anyone have any information on that flyover? What aircraft etc…?
@@topcat43truffles15 idk the location/time, but the aircrafts look to be most likely f16s or F14/F15

You might be right, it just seems strange that military authorities would authorize putting 50 aircraft like that in the air just for a flyover…
Actually to me, the thought of the cost of pulling a stunt like that is a total waste. Fuel, wear on the aircraft, potential for an incident with that many aircraft in close proximity…..I’d probably be looking for someone’s head….lol
@@topcat43truffles15I read elsewhere that they were all small civilian aircraft. No military jets at all. They do look to be small planes in the video.
#5 should have been #1. That was EPIC!
Agreed. I’ve never seen that many pilots in one flyover. Crazy
That stealth bomber always looked so badass to me kind of freaky it's like a set of stairs just flying overhead slowly The eye in the sky watching everything
God those b2 bombers are beautifully terrifying
I was thinking the same thing
B-1 flyover at 2006 Rose Bowl blows everything else away. Low and loud as hell, full afterburner at night.
they are the best sounding plane ever made so its kinda hard to beat too lol
God America is so fkn badass 🇺🇸
Show of hands, who here can't wait for the day the B-21 Raider makes its first stadium flyover
You know, I never really used to care about this stuff, but then I worked on military bases - as a civilian - and now I love this stuff. I worked adjacent to the Air War College, and when they would have their graduation practices and presentations, a lot of the base would just go outside and watch, it was so cool.
IMHO #8 should be in the top 3. Can't beat a good flyover with burners in the evening!
Was just coming here to say that!
5 is #1. Flyovers put me to Tears!!! I LOVE MY COUNTRY
Me too! Doesn't matter if it's a C130 or 3, Apaches, Blackhawks, and Chinooks before the Army/Navy game, or the B2 at the Rose Parade either although if a flight of 15's/16's/18's at 0.8 Mach doesn't get your blood pumping, then something is wrong with you. Personally, the Bone with burners is my favorite!
the one at 3:10 is the just the best lol the pure emotion from the guy in-front cant beat americans and their patriotism
Imagine seeing a b2 fly over in the late 90s/early 00s. It would have looked like an alien spaceship.
Still does haha
