100,000 people chanting “Die!” in that stadium that night at the opening song, it was electrifying to be one of them, and that’s just one of the many great moments from that weekend. What a concert!
I have a very strong obsession with Metallica and I was surprised with tickets. My Dad and I went to see them for this concert and they opened with this song on the first night and when I say I teared up would be an complete understatement. I bawled my eyes out.
I FEEL this comment. Nothing but respect, it fills me with joy knowing there are other metalheads who can feel the music. Metallica knows how to hit the nerves and I've bawled my eyes out as well. Keep feeling the music!!
I've cried on the Intro in Paris 6 years ago today! So much emotions for personal reasons...they didn't play it at the beginning of the Tour and I hoped they would play it on that day, I was crossing my fingers! And middle show, just after Last caress...Boom! 🤘🤘🤘It seems a little weird to write that but each time I have a strong emotion ( very strong ) I think about my father and his dog ( who became my dog after he passed away, she left us as well 2 years after ) I felt like somehow they were there with me...I know it's weird! So I ve cried! It was not sadness! And I think I m going to cry again now! Oh shit...😂
The die chant in the stadium was absolutely insane, thank you band and staff obviously, but also thank you everyone else who was there… because that was epic
@@UltraMagaFan2 Robert still doing great while Jason himself admited that he could not play bass with metallica today because it demands so much energy
Ya know, I'm so used to him just making shit up as he goes along that it's genuinely surprising he's playing a solo as it was written on the album. Ya know, like how every other lead guitarist plays solos live
I‘ve been standing in front of the Stadium for 5 hours both days just to get in the second row. Then we waited like 4 more hours until it started. The moment they came on stage I just thought that it was totally worth it. U can see my POV I uploaded Harvester of Sorrow from Hamburg

For one, I got to share this with my wife and daughter, second this was their first time seeing them and finally it was my Birthday weekend. I want to see that (and a few other songs) more than anything!!!” Then jokingly I followed it with, “Wouldn’t that be insane if they started with it?” And this was what we were greeted too… best first Metallica concert experience!!!!! Thank you so much Metallica!!!
Hahah man that's sick, I kinda knew Creep would be the start going into the show but was still hyped when they did... this has been the standard opener since 1993 with the occasional weird one like Blackened, Breadfan and So What which I knew they were NOT gonna play lol.

So happy to hear Metallica sound clear and thunderous. Props to the sound engineers and road crew for making Metallica look and sound so heavy, fresh and Metal 🤟❤
Creeping Death is my favorite song of all songs. I was not in Arlington but I was in Montreal on the Friday show. I was so happy you opened with it. After the song I screamed as loud as if it would have been a MTL Canadiens playoff goal. Was a great show. I'm considering going to Edmonton next year. We will see!!🤘
It doesn't matter how many times I listen to Ecstasy of Gold into Creeping Death, it will always make me get goosebumps! I was there that day, and my only criticism was that I can't keep following them every weekend. The friday show was good, but the Sunday show was something else! Just insane powerful energy and emotion.
By far one of the better shows of theirs I've ever seen. Loved every second of the two shows. Hoping they release what was shown in theaters. Well worth the 12 hour drive from Florida to Texas for an amazing weekend experience.🤘🤘
Fuckin sick, so many people came from FL man, I went up there with my father and it was our first time seeing a concert together (and his second time seeing Metallica, first in 1994). It was fucking great man

Hoping I can see them in Minneapolis! I have to see them man. They are on fire! I can only hope though.. I gotta convince my dad, he’s the metal head!! 🔥🤘
Thank you for not triggering the absolute living hell out of the snare drum on this video. The natural snare sounds far better than the sample that's been used over the last few years.
I’ll never forget this concert, being one of the chanters was a honor and a blessing. The words still play in my head when I think of this night of James himself, “We are Metallica and you are too”.
Wtf Metallica. Just insane that you're still out there, doing your thing, killing it. 🙏♥️ Thanks for this, this is one of my favourite songs of all time.
it's absolutely amazing how the crowd screams Jason's "MOTHERFUCKER DIE" during the chant
glad to say i was part of that
The live, stage presence GOAT
They should let Robert sing the last chorus like Jason always did.
This was my first Metallica show. I didn’t hold back chanting die!
I was at the MetLife show and we did the same. Jason was a great part of Metallica during his time with them.

What’s impressive is that James didn’t even have to start the chant, the crowd knew their role.
