As human beings, our minds change subtly with age, and sometimes we become sensitive and reactive to the ordinary things of daily life, or we lose ourselves and wander off in search of affection. You must be fun at party's 🙄
I think about another thing.
Never knew how difficult it could be being in a band. So many levels of personalities. Can be so great with great memories and so tough with confrontations. It like being forced to work together no matter what.
It's a fracking nightmare. Wanna buy a bass and an amp?
11:58 you can tell the more Lars rants, the more Danish he sounds
Wrong, he isnt talking about rødgrød med fløde.
Every time I see this i realise how dead on accurate Spinal Tap was as a documentary
Yes😂!
Kirk face-palming is epic😂🤘🎸
Damn. Lars went from personable, laughing 1986 phone interviews, to 2004 bitching and moaning fest
Money and fame can really change a person.
i know i love it. he's so extra 💅
Fast? You gave a 20 year window lol
@@chrismaxwell2274 He said "fest", but your point still stands
“Okay, now can I show you a flaw in the drumming?” *plays every Metallica song ever recorded*
I like how the funny moments are nearly twenty minutes of a two hour film, meaning that about a whole one sixth of the film is funny and it’s not even intentional.
James and Lars,
Two teenage girls, I swear!
😂😂
Lars was never told to be quiet as a child
When Lars is screaming about Jason leaving he's thinking about Cliff too. Double hurt
No
@@raphaelrampinelli8413Imo, Lars isn't a fiend, just self-absorbed, a bit cocky @ times. 'How DARE he quit the band!', not Cliff, was on his mind imo.
1:50 best drumming Lars has done in years
Kirk is like that friend that’s always there when a couple argue
When I first saw the film, I was shocked at the discordant appearance of the band members.
As human beings, our minds change subtly with age, and sometimes we become sensitive and reactive to the ordinary things of daily life, or we lose ourselves and wander off in search of affection.
However, as a fan, I am more than happy that they have reassessed themselves and regained themselves and united again to continue their band activities.
Look up the definition of "narcissistic personality disorder." Lars fits it to an absolute Tee. No wonder they're so dysfunctional here.
@@peterclarke7240 i think lars has kinda gotten better but still retains those narcissistic traits to this day
I think they realized "wait a minute we don't have to work anymore, we can just tour and maybe smash a few riffs together every 8 years"
Lars' dad is the highlight of all highlights "Id say delete that"
And that's why, st.anger is the most honest album
And yet St Anger never gets respect
"The Unnamed Feeling" is so relatable, at least to myself personally. 😥
@@Tom-oz7wk and why he’s around my neck.
@@mirandahallisy97 same
Really? The most "honest" album?? LOL
“Life is an eternal birthday party for somebody else.” - Lars Ulrich
you gotta love lars’ aggressive eating sounds
2:01 the zoom in had me dying 😂
James Hetfield: "You work an 8 hour day so that means you don't care about your family."
No James! It's called a job!! I guess nobody that works full time cares about their family
I like Het but I think most people would have had a very hard time not smacking him in the face if they heard that in person
@@JRC99 yeah he was going through a lot. Lars took the high road and didn't respond.
@@JRC99 while I thoroughly disagree with that statement and I think it was just poorly worded from the get go, if you feel the urge to smack someone just for saying that I think it's you having insecurities about that, who the fuck cares about what James Alan Hetfield or whoever has to say about your ways if you know deep within that you're caring with your family
The funniest part is James impersonating Kirk singing "Running...hiding".🤣🤣🤣
I've just seen this and your comment at the same time, it's brilliant. I watched it twice
Kirk should be nominated for sainthood. The things he's had to put up with...
10:07 That was so cute aw Kirk is adorable
Yes, I ♡ KIRKY BABY.
So many reasons to hate Lars. So many reasons to love Lars. All the same...the man is a prick!
So Kirk was feeling excluded from the band's decisions since 1987? The fuck?
Makes sense
hes just a session member.
He's too nice so it was easy to take advantage of him
I thought he was being excluded from day one and not just 1987!
@@Cthulhu_Awaken they only needed him to play the solos at first so yeah
Love how kirk is just their and dont know what to say isnt on either side and just wants to make solos
One thing I love about metal, hard rock, rock, funk, jazz, etc. musicians (all except the mainstream) is that as dramatic, charismatic, stupid, explosive, chaotic, immature, or larger than life they may be- they're fucking real and authentic. And that is why I love this artform and the people that give it life.
Some Kind Of Monster is basically a real version of Spinal Tap
That shot of the retro sprite can label in the beginning of the video hit me with the proper amount of nostalgia to set the pace for this blast from the past that randomly appeared in my feed.
I like how they gave Eminem a go at doing drums for that album.
This was 20 years ago. Good to see that these guys still can stick it out after all these years!
Lars just needed to play ping pong😂😂
😂❤💯‼️
That “They never painted it?” Line Made me chuckle more than it should have! 🤣
