@USCitizenshipTestOrg Good evening Jackie, I am filling 3 years marriage basis. My husband is in the military. We have 3 children and my husband and children are all us citizens. My question is that my last born is with my mom back home, do I need to give "Child and spousal support" evidence? We are supporting every day. It is just like He is with us. The first 2 are with us here. Thank you in advance.

I have been delaying the process because I am so nervous...sick stomach and everything...since 2013 when I filed for residency...but your video made me feel confident... THANK YOU VERY MUCH...GOD BLESS YOU...❤❤❤
Thank You! I had some questions about child support when your kids live with you and a parking ticket, but you explained everything so greatly. I appreciate your help!
Anybody can respond a question please: when I fill the form n 400 and the I 751 pending, what I write on the field that ask for the number of the card? Or how I do to explain I don’t have any card yet? What to write? Thank you
Amazing video! Thank you so much for the help. Before I was scared to apply but now after watching this video I’m so excited to start my application myself.
Thank you so much for your videos. I do appreciate your support. You helped me a lot. I will recommend your amazing videos to all my friends who want to file their N 400.
Hello Jacky, Your videos are great and easy to understand. I have a question for you. I’m filling out the N400 form, and in the section where you list your jobs over the past five years, I’d like to know if I need to include that I was furloughed during COVID and the time period I was furloughed.
Amazing! Thank you so much for this awesome step by step. I just filled out my application and I feel confident that I completed it perfectly with your crystal clear advice 😊
Hello how are you? Im Sandra, im going to apply for my citizenship on October 26 2024, Im watching your video many times because I dont want to make mistekes, also Im studying with your videos about 100 questions. Thanks
With the new update for the N-400 form, I found many people asking on various social media websites whether they should choose "Yes" or "No" for certain questions, especially question 16 if they answered "Yes" to question 15b when they mentioned their ticket (a normal traffic ticket without DUI, alcohol, or injury). For example, I checked question 16: "If you received a suspended sentence, were placed on probation, or were paroled, have you completed your suspended sentence, probation, or parole?" This is especially confusing for people who have received speeding tickets and checked "Yes" for question 15b. When filling out the form online, if they mention their ticket in question 15b and choose "Yes," they are required to answer question 16 as well. They cannot leave it empty when filing the form online because they have to answer "Yes" or "No" to proceed to the next page. What should they choose in this case since the question does not apply to them? When downloading the form, they don't know if they should leave it empty or choose "Yes" or "No" because they mentioned "Yes" in question 15b only for a traffic violation without alcohol or drugs, like a speeding ticket. For online filing, I found that if you answer "No" for questions 15a and 15b, question 16 will disappear. However, if they have a speeding ticket, they must say "Yes" to question 15b. I am now facing the same problem both online and when downloading the form because I have a speeding ticket and chose "Yes" for question 15b. I don't know what to put for question 16: "If you received a suspended sentence, were placed on probation, or were paroled, have you completed your suspended sentence, probation, or parole?" because it doesn't apply to me. If I am filling out the form online, I have to choose "Yes" or "No" to go to the next page. If I am filling out the form manually after downloading it, I don't know if I can leave it blank. Should we leave it blank in the downloaded form if it doesn't apply to us? Is it acceptable for USCIS to leave it blank? How can people filing the form online solve this issue when they must choose either "Yes" or "No" to proceed to the next page of questions? Please help us.
This video was helpful. My wife is applying and we were confused because they never asked for my employment info but in the summary said I was unemployed 😅
Hello hope you’re doing well I just have a question about the green card, should i also upload the extension letter on the additional evidence since my green card is expired? Thanks in advance 😊
If USCIS in Los Angeles has everything it needs from you, they may also decide on your citizenship application the same day. (If you're lucky, your Oath of Allegiance ceremony may happen then, too.) Otherwise, they'll have up to 120 days after your interview to make a decision , I meet my wife January 2017 and we applied for k1 visa and the k1 visa denied 2018 and we got married 2019 and after got married , we applying for CR1 visa I get approve and now i get the interview 04/04/2024 for citizenship and I'm still waiting for the decision more than 120 days . We are all equal.
Thank you for your video, I would like to ask if I need to submit a copy of my passport (travel history) if I did not leave a country for more than 6 months? And if I need to submit driver license? Thank you
Hello, First, I want to thank you for the great video. I do have a question: What happens if the U.S. citizen spouse was naturalized at a very young age, and they obtained their citizenship when their parents were naturalized? What date should be entered in this case?
I’m applying for the citizenship for general provision. I watched your video, and I was able to filled the application with no issues, but I haven’t submitted it yet, because I’m confused on what I should submit for additional evidence ?
Hi Jackie, I applied for my wife but we still waiting for the process which means my wife doesn't live with me and we don't have childrens. So I don't know what to do about Child and spouse support section ? Do I have to upload some evidences like transferd money receipts ? Thank you.
Hi Jackie. If I have two daughters over 18 years old. What should I answer when they ask How many children do you have? Zero because none is under 18 years old? or 2 because I have two kids/daughters?
Hi quick question. My EX-wife is a legal resident who got her green card after marrying me (we were married for 6 yrs) . Now, she's applying to become a citizen but she's asking me for a copy of my citizenship and copy of my passport (does she actually need that?) to do her citizenship test?
Hey Jackie Thank you so much for your professionalism. I have pending i751 since February 2024 and I will file N400 at the end of January 2025. Do I need to upload my i751 receipt notice with my N400 application ? Can I begin fill in the application before the earliest filing date which is January 26? Thank you!!
Hi, on listing the 5yrs addresses on the form do i need to put my present address? Since i lived here for more that 5years? But the form still asking for my end date on this address. Just little confused. Thanks
Hi, I am LPR since 08/2017, then I moved to my home country for 7 months. Since 06/2018, I have not gone abroad . It already been more than 6 years. Do I need to document in N - 400 for travel made in 08/2017 or travel made before 5 years? Thank you
Hi :) I do have a question. I am trying to help my mom apply for citizenship, but when we log in, the option to apply for citizenship does not appear. She has been a resident for 6 years. What could that be? Thank you!
I am applying under General provision and i have lived in only 1 address for the past 5 years. I have entered the current physical address but do i still have to enter the same address under the 'List all your addresses in that past 5 years section' even if i have lived in the same address for the past 5 years?
Hi Jackie Can I changed my answer about : Are you unable to take the oath of allegiance…. Because I answered Yes , so I have to choosen No . My interview will be on December 19 .. Thanks for your help I hope you can answer my question 🙏🏻
Hello, I have a issue about crime and offenses. The lawyer told me that my ticket doesn't go to my record. If I say yes for this question. Will it impact to my application? Thanks
I am currently filling out the n400. I am currently stuck at the question about a step child. She lives with her mom. My husband pays child support. So I cant click yes. But can I click no without any problems? I have no evidence for this child.
Hey, Thanks first for all your efforts. I just have a question regarding " The Spousal support " section. Do I need to provide any documents, knowing that my wife is not a permanent resident yet ? ( I got my green card through DV program). Thanks.
Hey Jackie thank you for your videos but I have 1 question if my husband is 2.5years of citizenship which one should I take general provisions or spouse of citizen? Thank u in advance for your help!
So since the only required evidence is permanent resident card (for marriage based) I won’t need to add the supporting documents you mentioned at the beginning of the video? Like Birth certificates for both me the applicant and my husbands ? Or marriage certificate?
Hello, thank you for your video, you mentioned that we need to submit IRS transcripts, what type of transcripts exactly is needed? For instance, on the IRS website, there are returns, wage, income, and accounts transcripts.. which ones should we submit? Thank you
Return transcripts. And you only need to bring IRS transcripts if: 1. apply under "spouse of a US citizen" 2. was outside of the US for an extended duration of time 3. owe overdue taxes at the time of the interview
great video! I have a question from the selective service registration. if I became a lawful permanent at the age of 32 does this apply to me? since it applies to men from ages 18 to 26 years old. thanks in advanced!
Hello I have a question if I submit my tax transcripts which one should I submit ? I check IRS for transcripts and there are a couple : account transcripts, Return transcripts, Wage and income transcripts and record of account transcripts which one should I send ? Please help Happy holidays
thanks for the information, i was very helpful. only i have one question about the evidenced,. what is the exactly doc about the tax, ? im confused, the paper is with thw title " individual income tax return" . thanks again
I believe that it should be noted or emphasized that for the section Crimea & Offenses, the first question asks about crimes for which you "Were NOT Arrested for.".
Hi @Jackie when I am filling the form. In the Your Family step I filled out Married and 1 time married but it does not show the spouse name and current marrige status page it directly goes to child support page but after completing, when I check and review it shows the page of martial history and current marrige page with blank. How can I fix it any idea.
Hello any ideas about this topic: I married an American citizen in 2019 in my country. I came to USA in 02/26/2022. I have a green card for 10 years. My wife (ex) filed divorced in Sep 09 2024. I received a document where it says: Date marital or domestic partnership status ends Mar 12 2025. Can I still apply for my citizenship within the three years or I have to wait for five years?
Thank-you. I did everything. I did notice that the online application won't allow me to upload pdf when Document name was written with a comma, or other signes etc. For example: 1.) Marriage certificate, Jane Doe 2 & acceptable) Marriage Certificate Jane Doe
Great video! I have a question since helping a friend. If you give child support in the form of cash since there is no court order for child support how can you provide evidence? Will a letter from the mother of minor be provided?
Hi there, So I do have a question regarding the online application. I did follow your videos but I was stuck about the EVIDENCE OF CHILD SUPPORT. Such as cancelled checks or money order receipts, court documents showing child support, evidence of wage garnishment, or notarized letters from the parent or guardian who cares for my child. My husband and I fully support our 2 y.o. son and we live together. I dont understand why they ask about the child support evidence. Please hope you can help me.
Hi ! this is really helpful! I am filing out the n400 for my parent. Her last name changed (45 years ago) when she was married. We dont have any legal documents apart from her school records showing her previous last name. What evidence can we submit? I couldn't find this information on the USCIS website.
Thanks for the great video. What about if someone cannot get his marriage certificate from a foreign country?. Is there any alternative document available?. The marriage is legitimate and real but marriage license is not obtainable due to unavailability of the forms. Thanks for your time!
Hi Jackie! Im starting my N400 application. I travel a lot this past years. I tried to check my travel history in cbp website that you said , i fill up the form but it keep saying that NO RECORD FOUND FOR TRAVELER. What should i do? thank you SO MUCH for your help!

I am Green card holder but my family is in my home country
I am going back regularly.
How should i answer to the question that my child is living with me or not?
Most of time i am there with them

For example:
1.) Marriage certificate, Jane Doe
2 & acceptable) Marriage Certificate Jane Doe
Good info.!! Thanks for sharing the tip!
Hey Jackie, thank you so much for this video, i completed my form now but I forgot to attached my taxes documents, what will happen then? 😢
Great video! I have a question since helping a friend. If you give child support in the form of cash since there is no court order for child support how can you provide evidence? Will a letter from the mother of minor be provided?
Hi there,
So I do have a question regarding the online application.
There is any necessary to give the information about the trip just only 3 hours in Canada what is the answer? plz
Hi ! this is really helpful!
