Hi good day. I am from the Philippines and I wanted to ask if for example I apply for a Tourist visa to visit my fiance boyfriend who is a retired Marine, will I be rejected on the interview if I say I want to see my boyfriend and be with him for 90 days and see the beautiful country of the United States Of America. Will that count in the interview? It's my first time and I am already nervous that I might be rejected. I hope you reply soon and thank you so much. I just got my visa B2 approved 🎉 it took only 2 minutes and consular asked me 5 questions mostly related to my work, reason why I want to visit and if I know someone in usa.
My advice: be confident and don’t make lots of documents ready as there is no reason for.
I wish everyone good luck with their visas ❤

This is also one of the biggest question i have in my mind. Why they don't provide specific reason why applicants got denied. Eveytime u asked they just gonna tell you to read the blue paper but not telling you exactly why you got denied. Don't know exactly what to correct.

    • @chaiandcoaching

@@jojzsiako3483 that would be nice, but it would take more time and then people would want to debate/argue.

Oh MY God! You guys! It's just a judgement call and next time it can be a yes.... But what makes you all think that there will be a next time for the person applying for the visa? 😂
This is unbelievable. In some countries the cost of US visa is as much as a month's salary! And the prior expenses that the applicant has already made (say a tourist or a clerkship candidate who has already paid the programme fees that's non-refundable).
Why is it left upto the "judgement" call? And what else could convince an officer if not the proper documents and proof of admission/tickets/receipts/financial statements and assets?
Am I the only one with such concerns?

My brother currently holds a priority date of June 06, 2020, under the F2A category and has been documentarily qualified since Nov. 19, 2022. He is from the Philippines. However, he recently turned 21 on Feb 14, 2024. I am concerned that his age may impact his eligibility for the interview or potentially cause him to "age out" of the process.
Additionally, when can we expect to receive information about his interview schedule?
Your prompt response to these inquiries would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi! We are a homeschooling family and my kids have qualified for a prestigious GLOBAL STEAM competition in America, we have invites as well. All of my husbands family , parents and siblings are Blue passport holders for almost 2 decades. but we decidedly never planned to move to USA. But we would like to have a visit visa to be part of family vacations and occasions now and then. Do you think this would be a plus for our application or a nay?!

Just make sure the purpose of your travel lines up with the visa you are applying for.

I plan on applying for a tourist visa next year but I’ll be unemployed at that moment and just want to rest from 6yrs of work in HongKong. I plan to visit my sister in California but I’ll use my own savings for my trip. And my only tie is my daughter and family in PH. No assets at all. Well, there’s no harm in trying😅

Hello please I’ll like to seek your advice on how to go about my situation ,
I’m refused the American visa on the basis of section 212(a) (6) (c) (i) misrepresentation 15 years ago and I can’t even remember what I did wrong then because I was at time married to someone who won an American lottery and I was his dependent I wasn’t asked questions it was him they asked questions and I was refused based on that, now 15 years after I applied for the visitors visa and I stated that I was refused a visa and stated the reason the Consular refused me again on the basis of the previous refusal does that mean I’ve been banned for life?because all my documents are genuine and I have not lied about anything everything I said is the truth, so please how do I tackle this. I am from Nigeria

In the martial status column:instead of me to click single I clicked on other and indicated Engaged
I don’t know any better I just thought if you are being proposed to it automatically means single
    I didn’t know what I was thinking

Hello, I have my appointment date in June this year, but I was supposed to report to school in Spring to study General Studies with a partial scholarship. So, I applied for an emergency appointment in December, but unfortunately, I was denied.
