  • Join Elise & Ross on our first hot tent winter camping trip!
We take 4 days and explore winter camping in a snowstorm in Lake Temagami's wilderness backcountry. We leave the canoe at home this trip and bring winter pulks to pull our gear. It takes us come time to get used to camping in the snow and we trek in over the frozen winter landscape with minus 34deg wind chill freezing our exposed skin as we slowly make our way to our wild camping location in remote Temagami.
Elise puts her wilderness cooking to the test and creates some amazing meals. We put our wilderness survival skills to the test as we learn to survive in harsh elements and come to discover the mystery and beauty of Temagami in winter.

Wow! another amazing adventure. Loved the howling at the stars. The days did look pretty cold, especially during the white outs with all the wind. The cook did an amazing job and it looked like you both had fun making the best of a challenging season especially with getting the firewood. Those mornings looked absolutely fringed. In those temps, the toughest part of the day is unzipping your sleeping bag in the AM. Hats off to the fire-maker for crawling out of his warm sleeping bag and getting the tent warmed up. Some truly wonderful memories in the great white North! Congrats Ross & Elise!

You should go binge watch Lettice Rowbotham until you can't stop smiling. She's an expert at turning frowns upsidedown. Her fans think she's the worlds best antidepressant and I agree. You'll probably never encounter a more positive person. She's the worlds biggest sweetheart. Don't fall in love. Watch her on UA-cam.

@@pakumar7921 Let me know what you think. I think Lettice should be a household name because she really is a gift to mankind. She can help so many people and all they need to do is watch her videos. I need to practice what I preach, I'm going to have to go watch her. She'll make you laugh till you cry so it can be painful.

@@pakumar7921 I hope Lettice has worked her magic on you. Not that it's really magic. She is a spellbinder but she isn't practicing witchcraft. Her overwhelming joy and love takes her fans over, after affecting her, and puts them in her frame of mind. She walks around in a higher state of consciousness than most people. She raises us to her level of consciousness. That's magic in my book but it's not sorcery. Lettice loves life to the max and that's contagious.
