    I hope that you know how much all your hard work is noticed. This video is perfect therapy for the person, like myself, with insomnia, and in addition, could never physically achieve such challenging things. It's extrememly rewarding to see someone else accomplish so much and do so much while I so comfortably while away the nighttime hours! Thanks, Alex!

    Love your builds, and how clean and organized you keep everything. So often I see intricate outdoor builds and the video stops there, and we can’t see the person enjoying what they just made. You stay and keep fixing it up more and more which is enjoyable to watch. You made the cabin a home, and your food always looks so good.

    My 5 year old son is very much into nature and camping and super restless little guy. We started watching the first video and he was so fascinated and eventually fell asleep and now on his fourth hour of nap. He hasn’t napped since he was one. I somehow moved on to the next video and almost finished it. We had a lovely afternoon, very relaxing.

    Why do you guys keep asking about hygiene??? You see him pack up every day and come back. He’s probably going home to bathe and grab more food. If he’s not going home, he has jugs of water. Have you guys never gone camping?? You often bathe from canteen cups. You just pack your soap, rags, and water. 🙁 Relax.

    • @tanjonzou9840
      @tanjonzou9840 5 місяців тому +24

      Well listen in all fairness I was hoping to see him build a bathroom and a shelter shower. I would have love to see that because he's living upon the forest and I love builders. So when people asks about hygiene, it strikes their interest to maybe do the same. It's inspiring but for me, we need a lady for him so he won't be lonely

    • @genesishep
      @genesishep 5 місяців тому +24

      I honestly don't get the hygiene questions either. If anyone has done any camping at all the answers are clear on how he can stay clean and hygienic. Even if he wasn't coming into camp fresh each day and had been camping the entire time he has access to all that is needed:
      1. Water from the nearby river. It was shown to be nearby in the initial build video.
      2. Fire, for any sterilization that's necessary. I would argue that people have bathed in the cold water for thousands of years now so considering he has access means of both heating for comfort and sterilization, he's golden. I'm assuming he has access to plenty of soap also.
      So where is the concern coming from? Do people need a see an actual video of him bathing himself to understand that it's possible? If so, that's just...... weird.

This is called, living, and this is one prime example you can't say my people are dirty and stink because we fancy bathrooms. , the builder is going to live at this beautiful work of art he's build and I want to see him build him a bathroom and a kitchen. how are you going to wash dishes after you eat?

    I think this channel is absolutely fascinating. It’s like the dream I’ve had all my life. The downside is I don’t have to leave my Lazy Boy, I just watch Alex living his dream. My only exertion is using my thumb to Skip Adds. That’s not good. (I get winded. LOL)
    But at least I don’t find it necessary to ask where his bathroom is. Sheesh!

    I really enjoyed your new, elongated video. Really appreciate that there is as little background music as possible in order to sustain the unique atmosphere of the cold and mostly quiet winter days and nights in the wilderness.
    Also, I do like it that you smile every now and then and do not take yourself too serous, like many other outdoor UA-camr do! Thank you!

    I ran across your channel by accident last night and enjoyed watching you build this cabin and now this video. I can't imagine the hard work it takes to maintain this lifestyle. I know I could not do it. But you make it seem so relaxing and peaceful. All the work with a respectful and positive attitude. Thank you for documenting your experiences so that those of us who are not able to physically do what you do can still come along on your adventure. Hello from Smith's Station, Alabama. 👋😁

    ENJOYMENT + --- Loved watching both videos of the progression. I've built a 4,000 sq ft home with my wife (all ourself) and quite an experioence. However, no way was I as impressed by you and your building this home alone by using the resources on the land and cutting and sizing everything, all by your lonesome. You're an amazing human being and thank you so much for sharing this experience.
