Its not much but I hope you can get yourself. A lure or some fishing tackle man thanks my friend for this video and guide and wishing you always the best of fishing luck and tight lines keep the content coming!😊🙏🎣
Many thanks for sharing this Video and guide I wish I found this video sooner I been snapping my braid when I whip the rod for distance in the surf. I been thinking it was because I switched to smaller 3000-4000 size more buget friendly reels since my old Daiwa 6000T never has bail line snap. Now thanks to your video I know why and how to fix it so I can continue to use my smaller reels cant thank you enough for saving my reels, rod, lures/setups, and money!!!😊🙏🎣
Literally thought I was going crazy because I know I open the bale and would still lose gear when the bale slams close on me while casting. Thanks for this video
Thanks for this! I’ve got a Spinfisher 5500 and sometimes have the same issue, In the slammer schematics this part is called a body slope, I’m assuming the “housing slope” from the Spinfisher schematics serves the same ABT purpose. Would it be correct to remove the housing slope to disable the auto bail trip?
I was looking for other reasons for line snapping when casting. I have a new reel and rod and still happening, something is causing the line to be abrassive, can you think of other reasons, thanks for the videos
I think main reason is over spooling your reel with line or braid, Also a long mono leader can cause the same problem when the joint knot is still inside the eyes when you cast, If you casting a grinder with a multiplier rod, I also see with light lures it happens, especially in windy conditions
I like to cast my reel far and I keep snapping my line it doesn’t always happen only when I cast real hard..my big question is can you do this to any spinning reel (remove that piece)
Have you ever considered a bailless reel? This is for spinning without the wire in place. The Van Staal VS X-SERIES Spinning Reels - Bailless is one such an example. A tad priced up though.
Don't forget that if you have a brand new reel that comes with a warranty. By taking your reel apart and removing parts. The warranty validity is cancelled. .
Use a 60-80lb shock leader and you'll never have that problem. The ratio of 10lb in leader to 1oz in weight..... not sure what the conversion is in grams and Kg. It's much safer for everyone on the beach to.
@@saltaholic5235 I actually took that into consideration...... I'm surprised guys are getting crack offs because of a bail arm...... there is no way that would happen with an 80lb shock leader. Sorting the bail arm mechanism is only part of the problem
If you open your bail arm pointing down towards the ground it wont snap shut. I have never seen anyone who has done this and snapped the line you need more practice in casting your rod .
If u don't reel to flip ur bale with ur reel it will never do that. U should always manually flip ur bale. When ur reel is new it never does that... guess why???? U never used that "automatic" bale flipping mechanism
Hi Enrigue, It still happens even if you don't reel.. especially the smooth reels, the handle turns with the momentum of the sping sometimes.. but like you say we never use that feature so i just removed it
I did not know why this was happening. Glad I found your video. Thank you. I have lost about 4 lures because of this. Great video

Hi, can you do demo on casting with bionic finger
is there a possibility if we tie the reeling bar to its body for not moving ??? a thick strong hold rubber band????
Lekker man !!! Dankie vir die deel 😀🎣🎣🎣🤙🏻
Just lost a 60 bucks worth of various lures in the past week, hope this will help
Thanks for this!

I'm not a reel expert but I guess so, take it out and see if the bail trips when its open and you start reeling.
Top reel from my opinion, what's ur opinion on the Slammers for non eds?
Great reel, for non Ed's the guys use a 8500 and up. more drag, more line capacity. Solid workhorse of a reel for sharks!
GREAT JOB THANKS

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated
Good stuff.
Is this possible on other reels like the Stradic, Tsunami Shield, Daiwa Ballistic, Ultegra XTD?
Not sure my friend, i believe so

Hi, i guess if you have the auto bail tril on a reel i'm sure that you can remove that part. Best take it to your local tackle shop

Hi, i don't think i want one haha never seen onr at our shops also, but that will sort out the problem 👌
@@saltaholic5235 Only if you need to solve a US$800 problem... That is a lot of sinkers.

.
just put the part back before getting the reel looked at 🧍🏾
What brand name rod and size On video beach

Not the same problem, talking about the bail arm that closes on the cast

How do you do that cast
I'm waiting for Josh Mair to come and show us how to cast, will post a vid
@@saltaholic5235 IT looks so cool in the video, especially since it was a glow in the dark sinker/weight
Hey Victor? By wie het jy die tools geleen???
Haha! Dis als my tools
I lost 3 power worms and a 8 dollar popper today as soon as i cast, all of the line down to the reel flew off
Jy sê daai rig lê nou in die Vrystaat?😂
Hahaha China!!
Thank I got a reel that won't close,I thought it was broken..🤦🏾

It happens to a lot of casters, in fact it’s the most common modification on Penn reels 5500 and below according to Penn service dept.
Caused me to quit fishing
