🎣 the pivotal point is the middle between both hands on a rod. Both hands Must work together. Don't snap start the cast, as this is where a break off and - or broken top section can happen,... Start fast but finish Faster,!,.. Same for in the multiplier reel video,... 🎣
You guys read my mind. Was waiting for a good video on casting tips. When I cast I feel like I've got to much of a jerky motion it's not smooth. This video is great 👍 thanks very much
Started fishing a few month ago since I was a laatjie. Been struggling to cast the big 14ft rod. Starting to get the hang of it though. Thanks for the tips
Excellent demonstration 🙂 One question - do you release the 'bionic finger' as you would your finger if casting mono line, or do you rely on it just self releasing at the right point. I release but I know anglers who don't
GOOD VIDEO I JUST PURCHASED A 13 FT ASSASIN EDGE ROD WILL I BE ABLE TO FISH FOR 15 TO 20 KG RAGGIE TOOTH SHARK AND WILL I BE ABLE TO CAST A WHOLE MACKERAL WITH A 4 OUNCE GRAPNEL AND BE ABLE TO GET A GOOD DISTANCE
We can help you out. What bait is flying off, and what species of fish are you targeting? We have a fantastic selection of trace & bait tutorials for you.
@The KingFisher Fishing thank you for the reply. I fish for edibles like Elf, Galjoen, Stumpnose Kob etc using Sardine, mullet, mussels, prawn, redbait, Oki and chokka. Worm is a bit hard to get on short notice for me. The worse for me is sardine, mussels and redbait they either fly off or slide to the end of the hook, preventing a possible hookup
Here are some tips for baiting sardines for targeting Shad. Many thanks Ray 👌🏼… I’m an old fisherman who’s learned some brilliant new tricks ✅

Awesome, tight lines!
When adding a braided leader to braid is it about 2 wraps on the reel then throught the guides to the drop you want to use??
Nice master

Great question, you press it to release.

Rather just cast the mackerel head with a little body and guts. Regardless of your tackle casting really big baits long distance is mostly not viable
@@donczns thank brother
Is that a braided leader you used Ray?
Hey Glenn, here is the video of Ray setting up that outfit. Yes it is a braided surf leader: ua-cam.com/video/mKW9zvnVbo8/v-deo.html
My bait keeps flying off the hook almost every time I try to cast further, even though I cotton that sucker on as tight as possible.
