Taurians might not be nice, but they tend to keep to themselves (mostly on account of a high resilience, but relatively poor offensive ability). I respect that. Keep people off their lawn who aren't invited with all manner and size of shotguns. As someone with a proficency for shotguns, I vibe with this. Tex put it best: ""We have been stacking bodies like cordwood so if you insist on f*cking around you will most certainly find out,' doesn't fit on the money, and probably sends a bad message to international investors." But it's pretty accurate. And I'd rather respect them than not.
The Thunderbolt and Griffin were main line units for both the pre and post-Reunification War Concordant. The Taurian's purchased rights and equipment to produce their own War Hammers shortly before the Star League embargoed them prior to the start of the War.
The Toro is honestly one of the very best light battlemechs. Set up in cover, in a staggered line per Taurian doctrine, even heavies have trouble dislodging them.
It is impressive that the devs even let the Concordat have as many mechs as they had. Considering they were basically slagged the SLDF and the rest of the IS that backed them up. I do hope to see a new reproduced version of the Talso similar to seeing the Toro getting revived.
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn Ya I know it sucks but we have no control over it. I do think it is mistake not taking the setting a collective story telling system vs IS doing the same stuff again and again.
Ah the Quasit. The mech equivalent of trying to convert an inventory of techinicals into light tanks. Not as good as purpose built, but it checks some boxes. Thanks for the video.
When it comes to the Toro prior to the Jihad there was really only Black Bessie left. The Word of Blake of all people would help the Concordat get the design back into production thanks to the New Dallas/Hegemony Memory Core. What's bizarre is they don't get the Talos back into production again especially considering how great of a ballistic 50 ton brawler it was, but hey the lore says it fell out of favor really quick for..."reasons"
"Only Black Bessie" Tell that to the techs in the yard here. Or the shed factories in the boonies of the periphery. There were more Toros AFTER they were supposed to have gone extinct then before.
Weirdly enough the Hunter tank uses the same engine as the toro and the taurians make that from 2 sites. So if the Taurians got the plans for the Toro even during the 3rd Succession War they probably could have made it again
GO GO TAURIANS! 🐃🇺🇦🐃 Love this video. Quasit is just favorite, for it is a "battlemech at home" that literally was that "good enough" to be produced no matter what. It is not that powerful, but it is that cheap! And even got a Jihad-era plasma upgrade! Thanks a bunch and have a nice channel growth.
That would be a bit harder for me, but I am sure I can do it at some point. Getting opinions and options from you guys is appreciated! Keep the good comment going!
Honestly sure they'll need an update on hardware but if they manage to embarrass liao and the star League with 20 years of stalemates and liao only taking 3 worlds their quite a nightmare force against superior powers

Love a good history lesson.
"The Capellans and the Taurians really did not like each other." There's a hell of an understatement. 😂
And somehow, we're supposed to believe they hate Davion even more.

Right before the Reunification War, they were finally getting decent enough Battlemechs and equipment for them, that's for sure.
The Toro is honestly one of the very best light battlemechs. Set up in cover, in a staggered line per Taurian doctrine, even heavies have trouble dislodging them.
Explains why we still see the damn thing all the way to today, in numbers which don't make sense.

Sadly, CGL has said already that "The Periphery doesn't matter".
So we have to make due with doing it ourselves!

It checks ENOUGH boxes that I would still buy it when in a pinch.

Fantastic! TC doesn't get enough attention. And watchout! They have a warship... kinda... 😂
They used to have plenty, but bad things happened to them. Nowadays, they might be rebuilding themselves up again.
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn I mean, bad things happened to them, but they also made the bad things happen to a lot of star league pukes, too.

Cough cough.
Yeah, they definitely weren't making them during the Succession War era...
I first learned about the Toro when I played BTA 3062, what a great little mech
Seriously a travesty it wasn't included in the Proliferation Cycle box.
GO GO TAURIANS! 🐃🇺🇦🐃

The Quasit just needs someone to actually use military-standard equipment in it and it would be a competent machine.
I enjoy all of Professor HeyTeeEn videos
I'd love to see a video done for the Rim Worlds Republic and their mechs too!
(The Phoenix and later on the Rampage)
That would be a bit harder for me, but I am sure I can do it at some point. Getting opinions and options from you guys is appreciated!
Keep the good comment going!
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn Harder due to the scattered sources, or just due to those mechs not having a lot of info?
So where is Flanigan's I've got some medium quads that the battle rooms call a "Command Wolf" I'd like to get tuned up and ideas for possible refits!
Artru, Aurigan Trade Alliance. Multiple drop off point available around the Rimward periphery.
nice vid , keep it up.
2 a week right now.
I'd like to apologise for my earlier post, it must have been my headphones.
Still not the best voice, but definitely good content.

New Vanderburg builds so much stuff nowadays it's not even funny.
Tauria, my love.
The Taurian... Quiet neighbors you should just leave alone. Better than the Capellans.
my guys!!! 🥰
also, the star league was the antagonist, get your facts straight, we were the heroes!( at least in our book 🤠)
It was the War of Star League Aggression. Get it right, @Catalyst-Game-Lab.
Ye and *haw!*
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEnCatalyst doesn't like the TC for the reason they don't like most people from Texas.
Ah the quasit....use that fusion engine in a proper mech and oh boy can you make something based off the OG design but vastly more capable
Were you putting on this weird voice purposefully????
I love Taurisns and really wanted to watch this video.... But the cadence was to off-putting
I am sorry my Federated Suns immigrated to the Aurigan Reaches Parlance is a turn off for you.
I am not "doing a voice", I'm just talking.
@@ProfessorHeyTeeEn Ah, ok, just wanted to check. I realised that probably sounded pretty harsh from me. Sorry
