- A classic Australia v New Zealand one-day clash at Hobart's Bellerive Oval in December 1990 famously went down to the very last over with Australian No.11 Bruce Reid on strike, needing two runs to win and just the one wicket in hand...

On ya Tony, the middle stump could be lying on the ground and you would say that it's not out.

Old Cricket 🏏 clean and pure..Not like today's fixed 🤑💰🇮🇳ipl...
How similar is this to the 1999 WC SF where South Africa needed one run off four balls and Allan Donald got run out.
"FIXED MATCH."
Richard Benaud , wrote the kiwis off during the first innings . Little did he know Ozs would be even terrible
The good old days.
New Zealand & South Africa have to win the World Cup in future 🏏

Was that Match FIXED OFFICIALLY? Apart from last over, dean jones was well in crease still given run out, Border's suicidal run out, mathews refuse an easy 2nd which cost alderman wicket.
And Jones coming so low
Match fixing is done mainly by the Asian teams. Australia, New Zealand, England etc don't fix matches.

I’ve never heard something so daft.
Even the Australian and English players say that the ashes is what really matters. It doesn’t matter how they do against anyone else they say.
Poor Reid nice guy
