    Back in the spring of 2021 i was looking for a hst compact with a loader , Wasnt really price shopping and looked at in person of almost every brand 25-30 hp range , After i found out TYM made rural king tractors it was a easy pick for me , I ended up buying the RK25 and you cant beat the warranty and the standard options already added and no problems with 115 hrs so far , Took it in for the 50 hour service when was due and the our maintenance dept is top notch , Good video !

    Thank you for the Video. I have been looking to buy and pricing has been the big issue as well as how the pros & cons are. Your video and one other from another farm guy has helped me decide on the RK 25 tractor. Please keep on doing the videos and hopefully i can let you know how the RK25 are.

    I bought an RK 24 with a backhoe 4 years ago. What a great piece of equipment. I added the 3rd valve to be able to operate a grapple. I have never been sorry. Recently bought a 3 point wood splitter, it hooked up easily on the standard rear hydraulic connections that came on the tractor. A friend has a bigger Green tractor and his doesn't have the rear hydraulic connectors.

      That awesome.. and right, most of the green tractors don't come with the rear remotes. You have to pay extra for that where RK is standard. Thanks for watching..

    I've had my RK 25 for 3 yrs now. It never ceases to amaze me. For a little tractor it is an absolute beast, I ❤ it. My only regret is that I didn't get the 37 and only because I really like the 37. Great video. Thanks. 1:18

    I have the exact same tractor that I purchased at nearly the same time (November 2021) and have within about two hours of the same amount of time on the meter. I also have the third function kit with the same grapple you are running and I got the forks, tiller, bush hog, finish mower, box blade, land plane and backhoe (I figured that since I could finance the entire package for 84 months, might as well get it all up front). I also got the trailer to haul it with since the closest Rural King is 2 hours away. (The trailer was a great purchase, I have used it to haul my kids' broken down vehicles way more than I have used it to haul the tractor.) Other than the tractor going into limp mode the first time it tried to re-gen (RK had to come out and reset the computer) every problem I have had with it was 100% self-inflicted. I live on 10 acres in Florida and this tractor has turned out to be the perfect size for my needs. I have learned that when it is close to 100 degrees outside and the air conditioner starts to struggle, it's time to pull into the barn and blow the dust and grass out of the AC condenser and radiator. Once those are clear, the AC is able to keep up again. It works kind of like an early warning system that keeps the tractor from overheating by making the operator overheat first, LOL. Like you, I would 100% buy this tractor again.
    One question: How do those R14 tires do in mud? I almost ordered them, but elected to order the industrial tires instead, which I have discovered are only ok in the mud, not great. My property is low-lying and gets very wet in the rainy season.

    • @OneManand5acres
      @OneManand5acres  10 місяців тому

      Thank you for watching. And as far as the r14 tires I have hills and they get muddy at time I have no problem with traction with these tires that is one thing I'm glad I got for this tractor 100% satisfied with them..

    I’ve had my RK-55 for 3 months and like you I’m a big man and would like to have more operater space and a more “stiffer seat springs.
    I haven’t had any problems or issues mechanical. The only thing I had issues with is the 3 point hitch bottom left and right connecting balls came with the small category 1 small balls. I had to refab a set of the category 3 with the large balls to connect my disc mower.
    You can’t beat these tractors for the price. Thank you for your time and the video.

      You will feel better once you get it home. I've had my 37S for 2 years now, mostly bush hogging trail clearing and fire wooding. I can't say enough good about it, and I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of other brands for about a year before buying.

    Agreed, the RK37 is exactly the TYM T394 which led me to discover the TYM T474C which has the Kukje 48 horsepower engine. I just bought the T474C and love it. Another thing you mentioned was comparing it to a Green tractor, i noticed when comparing, the Green 2 series is inferior in every specification to the TYM, the TYM 2 Series compares to the Green 3 series, in my case the 3046r which is even saltier than the price you mentioned for Green paint.

    Identical to my Mahindra 2538 Hst Cab in many instances and we seem to share many TYM parts and filters. RK parts and filters prices run about half what Mahindra charges. Example: Cabin air filters (requires 2) from Mahindra are $46 each; RK prices at $19.99 each.

    • @OneManand5acres
      @OneManand5acres  6 місяців тому

      Yes, the tractors are the same drivetrain filters Most of the cabs are the same tractor, lol my tractor was fully assembled in Waverly ohio Mahindra tractors I believe are built over sea in India and then shop to the USA. But still all parts are a TYM.. thank you for watching..

    Have you had any issues with the transmission gear leaver moving hard? Mine is a pain to move from high to medium to low. Have to move it forward and back several times and fight the le er to get it to move. Litterally the only complaint i have had almost 100 hrs in on mine.

    • @OneManand5acres
      @OneManand5acres  11 місяців тому

      The LED work light came with the tractor that was a new thing for the 2022 year, and I got my 37 Sept of 2021, so mine was built with the new upgrade.. Thank you for watching. You can get them from RK

    Great video. Can’t seem to find any comments on how strong the lift is on the front bucket. How strong is the lift beyond just a full bucket of dirt, etc.? Have you lifted any good size logs or chained heavy loads to the bucket and lifted?

    • @OneManand5acres
      @OneManand5acres  4 дні тому

      Great question. Yes, I have now i have lifted to 2300lbs with it the lift is 2100lbs spec. I have a roller that is filled with concert and we figured it to be 2300lbs that was the only time my loader struggled to lift it did it but I wouldn't recommend going over 2000lbs between 1500 and 2000lbs the tractor works very well and stable anything over that it feels light in the rear end with the loaded tires. Now, with an implement on rear, it helps a lot, but I still avoid going past 2000lbs. Just because it does it doesn't mean do it. At the end of the day, it is still just a small tractor with good power. I hope that helps you out and thank you for watching..

    • @tblackwell49
      @tblackwell49 4 дні тому

      Thanks, that was the answer I was hoping for. I have a Kubota B21 that’s built like a tank but only 21 hp. Front bucket rated at app 1,000 lbs including the weight of bucket itself. Dedicated backhoe works great but hydraulic pump is barely adequate. Great small tractor but need more power.

    I have the same tractor. I have the same setup, with the addition of the rear hydraulics, but with industrial tires. I have only had two problems: the seatbelt retractor came apart. They mailed me a new one and I swapped it out. The other problem is the parking brake. It won’t hold in the locked position. I’ve had to run after it several times. I’ve had it in twice and they say they can’t fix it. I have complained to the RK “Mothership” in Illinois, to no avail. My triangle peeled too. TYM sells essentially the same tractor without the extras, but more $. I understand TYM dealers refuse to work on RKs. You can buy parts from them, however. I think it is a great tractor, even if I have to chock the wheels. I’ll fiddle with the brake myself.

      It sucks that you are having those types of problems with your tractor. I have around 250 hours on mine now and still working well this summer. we will see I have a lot of work planned for. Thank you for watching..

    • @OneManand5acres

      Not that I know... I do know they run sales on the tractor at time.. The salesman at my store told me that at some store they don't have tractors at some store just do to the market in that area. That's all I can tell you. But thank you for watching..

    • @bjenkins803
      @bjenkins803 6 годин тому

      @OneManand5acres I was just wondering because they have 3 to 4k off RK37 and RK55 cab tractors. I know that Joe was upset at one time about parts being hard to get and service delays. Didn't know if TYM was pulling out because of this due their agreement. I ended up buying a Massey open cab but I really want a cab tractor soon.
