Hey joe...hilarious mate...don't be too hard on her mate, she's just trying to keep you on your toes...just so funny!! Love her enthusiasm...keep up the good work!
I love the little female “one liners” that makes us blokes part of a plan that we didn’t even know about until well after we were involved up to the 9’s. “OK I’ll not do this again, ohh did I tell you about….” 🙄…😂
Oh god 😂😂😂 These cars give me anxiety as it is in my daily job but this one takes it to another level. Unlimited colour options and they consciously pick "Golden Shite" Loving the videos, been binge watching for days. Keep up the good work
I think every time Joe says "aw no, look at what Sophie bought!" he really meant was "look what I bought last night while I was on a KFC high" 😄That new fry seasoning really gets him giddy.
That car is a dog . 156000 miles and started its life in Glasgow. Next stop scrap yard. Tow bar was probably used as a parking sensor. Evidence of livestock inside it
You are on top form in this video - love the comments and descriptions (the hand-brake has athlete's foot), really made me laugh (with you, not at you)
Enjoy the videos and i know you are aiming more up market now but i like the cheaper car videos, some of us can't afford all these flash motors, hope you get where you want to be.
Haha well done Sophie for cheering me up that car is hilarious. Who would sit in that thing and no be sick. It needs pressure washed inside Joe😂. I do love these types of videos seeing the not so glamorous side of the trade.
I quite often get told by my significant other about the car she saw I would have liked…… “it was a really nice black one, I think it was a BMW or an Audi…..” Great information darling, thank you! 👍🏼😂
Aston barclay are now doing a taxi/hpi check, which tbh they always did and charging us 4 quid now. A few mths ago I was chatting to a friend at the auction, he'd put a very smokey mk3 Mx5 in, hammer went down and it was down to me, my son had been bidding for it on line (!)
Subscribed , been watching you for some time , was just laughing with my partner by saying you seem like a chill kinda boss. The guys who work for you are lucky unless there’s another side to you 😅😂
I have a very similar view out the front. Same dog shite brown focus my neighbour drives. I did sell it to her though. Lavvverly mota love! my blinds will stay shut until the head gasket blows on it
I had to rewind that, bcoz I couldn't believe what I just heard..... Chokes on fake gold chain. "For a dog maybe. I'll give that to Sophie. She'll love that!" OMG. You better sleep with one eye open mate 😆
Quite amusing `from our point of view although probably less so for you - the interior was a sight to behold😂 SG prefix so originally from Scotland where cars always seem to be rustier due to the climate I presume!
I had the misfortune of buying a 2005 C-Max 1.6 TDCI many years ago, to its credit it drove very well and the MPG was always around 50. Unfortunately every time I got in it a new squeak or rattle would start from somewhere, its could be from anywhere, that pointless glove box up on the middle of the dash, or various bits of outside plastic trim, the "B" pillar covers would rattle and whistle. God knows how many various electrical faults it would have, the opening rear boot on its own was a great one while driving down the road. I lasted about 6 months with it. Still to this day, and of all the rubbish I have owned over the years, I Hate that car the most.
Any video including Sophe is very much worth watching, far better than any clever clickbait title. Maybe she should have your car checker access too. Please do not be so hard on her, and remember also that not all cars you buy, especially part exchanges, are great!
Jo! Why don’t you sell your more prestigious vehicles,BMW-Audi- ect. From the farm, by appointment only or online sale. Then trade ins or lower value from Berrow road. ? Just a thought .
I’m a taxi driver and spend more on my car than most people doing similar mileage as I want it to be reliable. I’ve just dropped it off for new rear discs and pads despite the garage insisting there’s plenty for life left in them. It gets serviced at 10,000 miles instead of the manufacturers 12,500. Preventing maintenance is what it’s all about.
even 10k miles seems a lot to me, i aim 6k max miles or year what ever comes first. never forget seeing engine tear down it had done over 400k maybe 450k cannot remember and was serviced reg and oil changes ever 6-8k the wear on parts was like the car done 1/4 of the miles so it really shows keeping your oil good keeps healthy engine and minimized wear. never listen to the manufacturers they want it to last till end warranty but that really it they want after sales like parts / new engines or even better buy another car. if you have a chain i feel its even more important to keep oil in really good condition. manufacturers id not listen too but speak to the ones a trusted mechanic and research what other experts say esp the ones exposing the manufacturers and bad engines like some manufacturers say life time oil for transmission yes life time till they fail but experts calling manufacturers out saying no more than 100k miles. i just wish more look after car as well as i do. also one mad thing as just sold my old car, they not part exchange because they said part service history so knocked big chunk off yes it was due it done 4.5k but one year the car only did 197miles straight after oil change so garage told me i should changed my oil even if it was less than 200 miles every year or it classed as part service history what i find crazy so pre warning if you plan to sell your car, so at the end no part exchange so called local garage next door to my local mechanic and sold it to them and they were not fussed one missed oil change but i prob did 50 miles on the new oil then sat for ages and then did 4 and bit k miles but they had a bargain as mechanically great as 5 years clean mots no advisory, smoke test clean easy pass every time, new disks and pads all around, just had new clutch sadly hoping that last till i had funds for newer car so that was £500 and crazy thing car i got £500 for it as id already made the deal to buy my newer car and street parking it had to go that week, if i was keeping it i would done chain too its still good but they can fail at 100-120k, car had bad paint as red so sort that and new chain and condenser ive seen same car go for £2600 and as paint shop they can do that cheaper than £160 a panel so mechanically they had good car for very little, but even tho 2011 if it needed it id fix it no matter if it the value, all my cars ive own mechanically they great, same goes for my newer 2015 car but this one has to last very long time so even more maintenance more reg services i just wish more people service and maintain mechanically the cars well, paints easy fix it just protective wrapper to protect metal so very least touch up
Excuse me! I have a Ford in this colour... Perhaps it wasn't really my first choice of paint job but it's certainly not dog's excrement colour. It's actually "burnished gold"...
Maybe the new government have cut VAT to zero in their first month in charge lol. If you add VAT to most the repair items it would be around £50 at a quick glance.
Someone recently was driving that around in that condition what a death trap on the road not only were the two rear tires totally knackered but they use the spare wheel as well. I hate to say it but some poor git he’s going to buy that….
Get a couple of hundred back as scrap .... sell the towbar ... take a £500 hit. Might be able to strip some parts but definitely not worth dumping any more money into.
An ABSOLUTELY FAB idea for a competition! - The winner gets to have dear Sophie choose and buy a car for them from auction upto the value of £1,000. You could call it Sophie's Sheds. I'm in! 🙃
I could save £155 a year on VED with this and have a similar vehicle to my 63 reg Peugeot Partner Tepee, only thing is Peugeot is just run in at 62,000 miles, I do like the look of that though. Had them wheels on my Focus Estate alway seemed to miss a spoke when cleaning them 😂😂
Even bidding £600 for that would be idiotic. I’m not sure Sophie should ever be involved in business. I hope she has her own career doing something else !
Think Sophie needs to stick to horses, only meant to bid £600, yes dear. Mind you she must of been working hard as the battery acid ruined her jeans Lol, great vlog, keep em coming....
You can't be too mad at her as you love her, besides, who would be able to deal with you too 😬Perhaps you need to have a final say of any online purchases on your accounts to protect you. Also, you could 'educate' her about how to look at cars, it would make for great content. Besides, she already knows about 'horsepower'.
Complete wreck of a car ! If you were to take that as a partex. What would you give £400 max. It wants a good £500+ spending. At best, it's only worth £1900. No money in it when you take all labour and effort involved.
Shameful if that's been a private hire taxi when I sell or part ex my taxis you could never tell been complemented many times on the condition of my car as a ex taxi not always bad buys my car gets a full service every 10k miles along with a mini valet each week my interior is also fitted with faux leather seat covers so the interior is like new when took off if you appreciate ur working tool it reflects on your work tipped regularly for the condition of my taxi 🚕😢
You need a new calculator! How did you get a total of £1299.86. Your parts (ex VAT) amount to £218.90, plus your 2 hours labour (which you claim is rounded up!) £268.90. Surely the total is £1518.74. Including the VAT £89.32 (which excludes the eBay item) totals £1608.06.
if taxi turned up like that id not get in it. taxi around my area, i use them local trips pretty reg and they show up in sports m bmw 5 diesels, once brand new merc, popular band new skoda, few times toyota 7 seat mid engine bus but its very nice very high spec, only once newish mondeo i was amazed size boot you could get extra row seats. so as you can tell most the time it more like chauffeur service than a taxi. it is shocking if this was used like this as taxi, if that turned up i opened the door seen that id wave the taxi on and book with anther company what very least clean taxi, id rather have 1980 honda accord as long as it was clean over this any day or even a tuk tuk
Please don’t ever ban Sophie from buying at auction! It’s always content gold 😂
Gold is also the real name for this colour...
Please DO ban her. It’s your business
He knows that and even alluded to it, when he mentioned about it being a good money earner
That's funny. When I'm at the auction and I see a piece of shit like this, I always think what dealer is actually buying this stuff, now I know.
Could be worse. Could have been a fake taxi.
I mean with those stains, it might have actually been one.. 😂

That necklace instantly makes me think of Family Guy when Peter becomes and Uber driver 😂
Never mind a ‘thumbs up’ button!! Where is the ‘laughing’ emoji??! 😂
Always comedy gold Joe! 😆👊🏼
I spotted the "camber" instantly in the auction photos...
Stop letting her bid until she's been to Specsavers 😂😂😂

I had to go and wash my hands after watching you check the boot 😂
The paint on boot by number plate will have been rubbed away by taxi plate

If I got in that as a taxi I’d asked to be paid for getting in not pay for the journey. Stinking
Entertaining as ever ! You were VERY diplomatic considering her history. By the way, tyres not tires.
Its my view out of my front window, the neighbour has an identical car 😮, luckily ive got blinds 🤣🤣
