The beginning steps where i drilled the holes with the smaller drill bit and then a bigger one to hollow them out can be worked into tanks and airplane damage. With some reference photos that one step can help start you off.
Been looking at how to do Battle Damage on figs and this is by far the best looking I have seen. Really 10/10 stuff.

That does NOT look like realistic battle damage, not on a tank or airplane at least.
