Thank you! I can finally walk on my own, although a small crutch is often helpful. There's one more x-ray right before Christmas, and I hope it's gonna be the last one :)
The amount of texture on this model is fabulous! Rolled and cast steel, zimmerit, chipped paint, rust, and stowage. Amazing! I am excited to see the tankers and their puppy painted up soon!
Reminds me when I was looking back to older videos searching something on rust or chipping or whatever, and stumbling upon one of the vids where you said you hated everything stowage, started laughing out like a maniac in the irony. How far we've went since.
Outstanding work Martin! I dream of making AFVs look like you do on a regular basis. Your models look like tanks as they do in the field; big, dirty and filthy! Thanks again for your channel and I look forward to seeing the figures and diorama come together, CHEEERS!!
Uncle Night Shift always kept me company in my own night shift. :) Working from home can sometimes be a drag especially without hearing Uncle Night Shift's chatter to keep me company.
Very nicely done. I guess I am more fortunate than most. When I am trying for that "lived in" look, I reflect back on my Marine Corps days. We had to keep things clean. Yes. But, no matter how good you were at that; there is always going to be evidence of human contact. In many ways, it is a very subtle effect. Sometimes, that subtlety make it difficult to replicate. Well done, sir.
This is a legited work. I love the wooden box for the panzerfauzt!! And also the coper wire as the cables to atach foliage. I don’t now if this time you want to do a diorama with water, but i really recomend to you the AK resin water. Very easy to use and a great realistic look!!
This has been an amazing build man, Thankyou for all your hard work and all the helpful tips/tricks. Loved all of it! Stay happy and healthy my friend. ☺️👍
It would be fun to see some coffee rings and perhaps a coffee mug near a top hatch. Crew often 'hung-out' seated just inside the hatches with a brew between legs of a journey. A well placed sandwich in paper wrap would be a unique addition too.
Amazing as always. Now I know what to do with some of the copper wire I've had on a small box for the past 7 years lol Also. It's really cool how you got over your stowage phobia and the results of it
@@NightShiftScaleModels Definetly. I was thinking about adding a few 1/48 jerry cans to my Tiger 1. And also adding some zimmerit left overs, to make something like a veteran Tiger 1 early version that managed to survive until the late part of the war. The hybrid one you made got me really inspired. I only wish I had a bigger budget or a 3d printer to do other modifications, like adding mid-late production wheels lol
This Jagdpanther is Wunderbar! But you're breaking my heart... That wire strung all over tanks in Normandy was Copper Wire from Telephone Poles! Anealed Copper Wire is the perfect color. I've been building for 50 years and it was getting boring, but you've stoked the fire in me again!!! Thank You!
Great video. It's great to see the progression, also the trials and errors, We all make them. Keep up the super work, looking forward to the next installment. Cheers from the U.K.
Amazing and awesome work on this tank and I'm happy to see how you do things and how you paint and weathering the object. 10/10 is a very good and I'm looking forward to your next project. Bravo!!!!!!
Hey night shift, I’m amazed at the attention to your super details your work is out of this world, I would love to see you build a British centurion 👍🏼
No arguements about stowage, dirt, mud and dents and dings to sheet metal areas (fenders etc). But paint fading. Just how long were these vehicles in service anyway. Between being caught out on the roads, abandoned due to breakdowns or other reasons. One good idea for a small diorama might be a Panther or other piece of German armour getting its summer camo painted over white for winter
Hi Martin! I’m watching your videos for some time now and a I must say - by far this is the best looking model you created. This may sound paradoxically, since all your models are super cool, but every next model appears cooler than previous, and you keep jumping over your head each time. I can’t even guess what we may see in your future projects. Good luck!)
You never fail to amaze me. Great work as always. Just me but I would do the figures next since they are more part of the tank rather than the diorama.
Newbie here ,found your channel and love it! Wealth of info and very entertaining! Binge watching and catching up it's like trying to drink from a fire hydrant. I usually build wing things but this is inspiring me to bust some armor out of my stash! Great content ! Thanks👍
After you started to build this Jagdpanther there was a show in Hungary where I could buy a Dragon Panther ausf A. I really like this "soviet bathroom zimmerit" :D So...I started to search some references and I found some photos of a Normandy Panther where used chicken net to camouflage it.
The rounded-corner square part of the fire extinguisher should be the color the extinguisher, not the tank. It was a built in handle on the extinguisher, each half folds out towards the center to form a handle.
Uncle Night Shift you are the go to guy whenever I want to learn about a new technique, both inspiring and slightly dispiriting at the same time. My models don't even come close to yours but keep up the good work and one day I might be satisfied with what I have made. BTW where did you get your model stand shown in this video at 31 seconds in? I want one!
I said this on the last video, but it was pretty late after posting. Hope this doesn't come across as spamming you, but I'd really love to see you do some smaller scale tanks. Especially gaming models like Flames of War or 40k Imperial Guard Leman Russ's. I think the Flames of War models are pretty light on detail, and I think it would be cool to see how you make them feel more real at that small of a scale.
I kinda lost passion for the small scale stuff although I built several of them not that long ago. The smallest scale I tackled lately was 1/48. I should probably resupply my stash of 1/72 kits :)
Hey I love your videos and I have a recommendation: Tamiya m4a3 75mm It comes with the tank itself and 4 figures I think you could make something beautiful out of it Many thanks!
Hey Martin, really enjoying your channel and learning a lot!!! One suggestion - if possible - could you post a list of the products you use in the description?! As I am changingg from enamels to acrylics it would be a lot easier to buy all those little potions of magic that you use. Trying to replicate the master 😁. Thanks ahead und keep on posting that beautiful models! 👌👌👌👌
Uncle night shift is a well of wisdom. always learning new things and making mistakes along the way. hope your leg has healed up nice and well!

Thank you! The diorama is going to be the biggest, most ambitious project so far! I'm currently building a house for it and it's MASSIVE :)

My friends.... My friday is not complete without your video. You are awesome, so your work!
MARTIN!!!!!!!!!! Dude. Perfection. That is all.
These videos are the reason that I love Fridays!
Amazing work!! Your the best!

Just bought the two component AK water for my next diorama! Not this one, but the one after. There's gonna be a LOT of water :)

Night Shift is a freaking technician - all of the "how to" knowledge, all in one person's head.
Excellent work my friend ......................... 👍
This looks absolutely amazing. I couldn't never do anything that looks anywhere near that good!
I love how I’m like “wow that looks great” and it just keeps getting better I hope one day I can even finish one model let alone do all this
Geez This thing is insane. Idk how but these models just keep getting better and better!
Ah yes, nothing better then nightshift while feeling sick. Very nice
Martin your skills are absolutely incredible.
It would be amazing to see you work your magic on a Warhammer 40 000 tank!
Love the blue Tarp!
Great idea for the making of the water crosses on jerricans! It makes my day! Thank you
Any day that starts “mah friends” is a good one 👌
Thank you, Uncle Martin .
I can’t wait to see you make a 3D printed tonka look just as this. I believe in you.
Amazing as always. Now I know what to do with some of the copper wire I've had on a small box for the past 7 years lol

Stowage opens up a whole new world of creativity, so it's an absolute win situation! :)

Another great lesson from the Master. Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge and posts.
Ah, so glad to find your latest video article. I really look forward to it, after work on Friday.
The details in this scale always blow my mind, truly amazing.

Hotddamn, loving this one. Well played sir!
so cool ! I wanted to see a tank commander with an umbrella like in normandy :-)
Awe yeah. Best part of my friday
Sensationell, besser geht‘s einfach nicht!!! 🤩👍🏼 🏆🥇
Wonderful work Martin! I don't really have anything to say but here, take a comment for the algorithm.
Brilliant. Saved, ready to be enjoyed later this evening with a couple of beers. Thanks, Martin and have a good weekend.
This is a Masterpiece! And to be honest: The best Jagdpanther !🤩Greets from Germany 😀
That effect for the zinc plated can is super useful. I've been looking for a easy way for that effect for a while

Love the Way you pronounce chips, tjsssccjhhipz! Gives me good bumped every time!
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for taking the time to share you techniques with us.
I'm always amazed at how few metallic paints you use.
Thanks so much, you made my day!
Your level is going to push over the stars.....
You must have been an alchemist in a past life, given how you transform these models ;)
Would be interested to see you do a 40k tank one day.
dude, I love your videos and I have not made a model since 1993
Ohhh now I see why you didn’t weather the stowage with the rest of the tank! Looks amazing!
As usual outstanding work Martin

Some of your finest work... Well done!!!
That’s not a tank destroyer, that’s a nice comfy home
loving how your doing more German classics! I hope your leg is alright now
Incredible details...and weathering job!👏
Nr 516 that shays yes Thxs Night Shift.
if you paint a wire like that, just use thin paper behind the wire.

To add tone and depth, try ammo shaders, I just started using them and they add quite a bit to the depth of color, especially greens and tans.
That looks amazing! Looking forward to the rest of the project. :)
The rounded-corner square part of the fire extinguisher should be the color the extinguisher, not the tank. It was a built in handle on the extinguisher, each half folds out towards the center to form a handle.
This amazing model would have been flawless,if only you would have added a rusty bucket :D
There should always be a rusty bucket, right? 🤭
It's not a german tank unless there's a bucket hanging on the back, therefore this one is trying very hard to look NOT like a german tank :D
Beautiful sadly have not had much success with my models as of late my two latest builds had to be stripped due to the weathering going wrong.
Absolutely awesome... MA FRA-END!!!!
Bravo l'artiste, magnifique.😃👍👏👏🥰
you could stick the water canister in the diorama somewhere.
amazing as always
So interesting video ad usual my friend. Your Channel Is the best on yt. Ciao

Well, cheers to you, too. What about the water canister put on an allied tank? Captured equipment? A cherry on the top for the most curios observers?
Oh. That's actually good
Thank you, as always fantastic work.
Looking really good mate keep it up
Beautiful job! If you ever put figures with it may I recommend the Minimart after kits for drinks, food etc.

Looks great. The only thing that's unrealistic is the fact that a real one would of run out of fuel, before it got in this state!

Night Shift: works on coffee
