I bought a 67 Chev 1/2 ton pickup new off the dealer in Anchorage Alaska when stationed there with the Army, 68 to 71. It was a leftover so got a good deal at $2200 dollars new with 283 and 3 speed on the column. Great old truck, drove it down the Alcan and kept it for several more years. Your vid brought back memories when I seen that same gauge cluster in the farm truck. Wrench on, guys.
Missed the live show again, dangit. At least I still get to watch the people that got me into car rescue/will it run videos! Edit: I have seen mud daubers on both the east and west coast, north and south from PA to FL, No Cal to Socal. I think the industrious little wasps are everywhere in the US that isn't frozen most of the year.
Good job guys my father owned a junkyard we had 500 cars Plus out in the country. Has been passed away for probably 28 years I remember us working but he was not like your father he yelled and carried on a lot it was not as fun as what you guys get to do but I sure learned a lot and do have a lot of good memories
I owned a Truck just like it, even same color. I hauled everything with it from Hay, Grain and even Logs and Brush. I even hauled Freight in it. That motor is a very strong motor for what you see. U had throw-out Bearing problems and Clutch problems more than anything. It used one quart of oil every thousand miles from when it was new all the way till I sold it at 74,000 + miles. I changed tires on it three times and wish I still had it. It was three times the Truck my V-8 Fords were at the same age.
it's funny because they offered a High Torque version in the big trucks. in order to create one of these motors GM had to print off a decal and slap it on the valve cover!
Hello guys i really love watching each and every video of yours right from Turnin Rust to Now you change it to Restore so keep on restore all those classic vehicles and God Bless you all
On some PTO's you need to have the truck in neutral and then dip the clutch and engage the pto control lever and then use the clutch to control the operation of the tilt bed...
Use the Farmer's Right Hand called the Handyman Jack and level the bed out of the twist so it is not in a bind. There should be a Resavoure for the hydrolic fluid.
Looking at that Truck I would say it is a very low mileage Truck being a Farm Truck. Usually they were used just from town to Market and not on long trips.
I like watching your videos. Thank you Christian for all your work. I'm glad that you believe in God and salvation. I live in Texas and used to help my husband work on our cars and trucks so I know more about engines than a lot of women. I gave up our house in the country after he passed away and I live in the city now. Still enjoy watching you guys work on the cars!
Had a 1963 Chevy 1/2 ton long bed pickup with posi rear axel , best winter truck ever long wheelbase kept it straight , posi wouldn’t spin, 292 six cylinder
Keep your arms, hands, and body out of the chop zone of the bed lift mechanism. If you loose pressure in the system or pressure is absent that bed can drop and smash anything in the mechanism. If you get it all the way up, prop the bed up with a cross brace that will support its weight. Without pressure that bed will drop like a rock.
I think box frame rails are binding up maybe the fork lift the box on the right me and my late brother had do the same thing with his truck he bought we of course used the farm tractor loader but go inch at a time
I had an older one that had a split key ring. And if it got too much of a load the key Would share off To keep from doing any damage it’s just a thought
the 2 speed in the diff is ellectrical will not work unless good bat and key on if wires good and the ellectric magnet in sellector is strong enough to pull it. 15 min change if they fail, is so simple to replace that sellector. shoulda checked PTO maybe it stuck engaued. could be a bad u joint to oil pump sure sounded like it. i grew up on a farm around old creatures like them. was simplest things to fix and most dependable unit on a farm. when nothin else started they started the grain truck to boost things.
Late onto this but the knocking noise seems to be at a frequency that is much less than the engine revs. What about the PTO for the bed lift hydraulics.
May the LORD continue to have you and your family continue these videos and bless you each and every day!!

Brings back a lot of memories, my dad had a red one of these with a 366 big block.
Good Seeing You, Your Dad & Sister On This ‘67, Cool Rig.. God Bless!!
Those old Chevrolets are so good. I drove one from Hoboken NJ to Saratoga springs NY once a week very reliable.
I missed the live show but catching up a couple of days late. Picture and sound is spot on, well done Christian.
As for the hydraulics it's..."My God, It's the blind leading the blind". FIND the damned tank or at least where it was removed from.
Man, do I love this channel. Appreciate the prayer at the end. Keep up the good work.
I've never seen one with the tilt bed option. That was state of the art in the 60s.
Ours was a tow truck. Happy Hooker .
Thank you to the three of you for the awesome Videos, God bless you.
That is a good looking truck, hopefully the bed can be fixed on it. It is wonderful to hear you wrap up the video with a prayer of thanks!
Sorry I missed the live guys!
Great job guys and gal. The old Chevy is cool.
This is why I watch your Channel. You love the Lord. And you're not afraid to show it. I'd love to buy that truck. How much do you want?
That's the splitter for the re endon the shifter
Looks and sounds good. Love the truck.
Doesn't sound like a bottom noise.
Get her rancho going that's all steal she will be safe in that.
Drove a Chevy1968 350cc tow truck with 10 speed spit axle, dual boom. Very powerful truck.

Good job, you’ll get the bed to go up & down. Just takes time!
I love the way you don’t give up
It should have a reservoir on the Passenger side and could be on the inside of the frame.
This is ( MIKE TADLOCK) I like watch you and your dad. GOD BLESS Y"ALL
Beautiful truck. Those inline 6 cylinder 292 engines had lot of torque. Great for a farm truck
My BUS is a C50. Last 62 Chevy with a Carpenter body in existence.
I have a 1952 Studebaker 2R16 with the basic same differential. That truck is now V8 powered.😊
That thing would be a sick bagged ramp truck!
The Chevy 292 was a quite bullet proof engine. Very rugged.👍
it's funny because they offered a High Torque version in the big trucks. in order to create one of these motors GM had to print off a decal and slap it on the valve cover!

Thanks for your Testimony
That bed seems to be in 3wheel motion. Great video way to save it. Keep up the amazing work. GOD Bless!!
OMG, a GM with the distributor in the right place; up front where God intended it to be.
Awesome video love your live revival videos.
On some PTO's you need to have the truck in neutral and then dip the clutch and engage the pto control lever and then use the clutch to control the operation of the tilt bed...
Awesome project guys!
Use the Farmer's Right Hand called the Handyman Jack and level the bed out of the twist so it is not in a bind. There should be a Resavoure for the hydrolic fluid.
Love your show keep up the great work, God bless
Gosto muito do programa de vocês, sou de Goiás- Brasil
we used these trucks to help family move. lots of room for everyone's "stuff".
Good job guys. See you next time!
look good hope you can get it runing
I am a big fan of American classic cars just loved those v8s

Most of the 5 speed transmissions were also direct high gear. 5 speed overdrives are very rare.
the 5 speed OD was only offered on 4-53N trucks, also impossible to find. I've found one online but someone had taken it to the land of no return
It looks like the trucks that FDNY (Fire Dept of New York) had in the 70's
The rattling sound may be an exhaust manifold cracked or the doughnut may be burned.

Wow my waiting is over
Hay, Guys. I'd love to see you put a pickup box on that old girl!!!!!
those type of trucks have a reservoir mounted inside the frame with a check plug to fill.
The cable isnt coming far enough or you need to let go of the clutch. The other cable is probably the up and down on your bed
Nice video guys!
God bless brothr frnt Puerto Rico
That sounds like a backed out clutch cover bolt!
This is a cool ass old truck and guys just so u know Subaru has the best and highest crash test safety ratings over any other brand
We Would like to see a restoration on the pacer!!!
that noise was the spark from the coil to the breather it was sitting against the side of the coil
Well she might be a runner 👍.
I am commenting from Goshen Indiana
I think with the bed, Put stuff that is heavy on the high side of the bed. Then run your PTO
Like uncle Frankie having your dad's back on his shirt
Straighten the bed so it won't bind up
Sounds good
Great work once again! Keep it up, guys! Good to hear you mention the Lord Jesus Christ as He is The Way to Salvation! Cheers!😀😁⚒️🛠️
I think box frame rails are binding up maybe the fork lift the box on the right me and my late brother had do the same thing with his truck he bought we of course used the farm tractor loader but go inch at a time
Yeah the idle advance for when the lift system is engaged
There has to be a tank somewhere for the hydraulic fluid.
Well if ya need a cab an hood for ole pickup truck it should be good solid one
Use the forklift and on the other side of the truck and push it up to be straight
Bings the bed is tilted the back pin might be broken so be careful if you try to raise it
I would bet 16,000 is about right. The truck is still clean but used by a Farmer who never took care of his Equipment. There are thousands like that.
Fluid and pump and lines for piston
I had an older one that had a split key ring. And if it got too much of a load the key Would share off To keep from doing any damage it’s just a thought

bravo
That is a nice body style
In Pa here we call them mud doppers
Maybe the noise is the throw out bearing
Hey Lance use the forklift and try to lift up the side that is low
YEA! "The Buzzin"' -Half - dozen ! Powerhouse. Torque up the "Ying Yang".
had a 65 c 30 with a 292 it knocked turned out to be loose flywheel
This is roberta moore from missourri
Dammit.. missed the live stream... was too busy today !!
I SAY THAT THE OLD CARS R SOO COOL AND SO OLD AKA OLD CARS
Amen
Use fork lift to raise bed reservoir is under bed on passenger side
I have a similar old truck C60 with a worn out old 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder. I have been looking for a period 348. Do you think it will fit in there?
I Bet it starts ,Most old farm equitmetnt will run.
That dog is too cool. How many hundreds does it cost ro call out one of tjise semi towing companies??
Push clutch in pull pto then pull pump
Pump the clutch a lot ,it's just sticking.
Hey Lance would your dad's name be Tim latner and did he work for the City of Kennesaw
When are we going to get a edited video
