I lent my buddy a spare pc I had so he could play this game. Has a 1060 3GB and first gen Ryzen 5. Works ok. Sits around 60 fps but definitely a little spikey
Hi. How does it work after the update though? They added lower graphic settings with Season 1. Any improvement? Let me know if you are doing another video. Thanks!
I think there is something wrong with the game. When I run the game on high, it maxes out at 73fps. If I set the game to the lowest setting, it will still max out at 73fps on my PC. So lowering the graphics doesn't help increase the frame rate. They've done something that stops the frame rate from increasing. I've even tried restarting the game.
The game seems super CPU intensive - I get 100% usage and similar FPS regardless of settings. There's probably some super unoptimised physics causing it to be CPU bound limiting the FPS independent of graphics settings

I'm not into these Battle Royale style games but admit that Marvel Rivals art style is sooooooo frickin awesome and looks amazing. The devs deserve tremendous credit for putting out such a beautiful looking game and performing very well at launch! TBH, I'm suprised how well UE5 is being handled by lower end gpu's like the GTX1060 and Rx580 ... even at 1080p low settings which still looks amazing imo :D
Any chance you test this with a 1080Ti? I'm getting about this much framerate, dipping to under 30, regardless of settings I use. My GPU doesn't seem to be fully utilized. Its around 80%. Could it be bottlenecked by my Ryzen 7 1800X? Also I think settings don't fully apply unless you restart, so you were getting lower FPS after changing things around.

Hey man i have a problem in all games not only marvel rivals so everything has dots and worse texture and form afar everything is just dots but if i take a screen shot it LOOKS NORMAL ..
This game need a big performance improvement. All their competitors shooters runs way better on budget/ old hardware and this game just absolutely trash in performance. GTX 1060 6GB would have no problem running OW2 at 1080p lowest, no frame gen no upscaling at 150+FPS consistently. So does Valorant and CS2. After the initial hype dies the performance will be huge factor. Many of my friends who can run OW2 at high refresh rate struggle to run Rivals at 60 FPS. People will say "Upgrade" well I run this at 1440p on 5800X3D+3080Ti and it can't do 150+ consistently on low settings, no upscaling. I tried this on my PS5 Slim as well and game look terrible at 120 FPS mode. While OW2 on PS5 runs and look good. They need huge performance patch to fix these issues.
I could literally play overwatch 2 on my old intel celeron laptop, and on my 4070 i would get 1000fps at low on marvel rival's barely 200fps at below low
Spiderman is the most broken part about this game.. no spider sense to dodge bullets, cant shoot webs from the walls, can only swing 3 times.. meanwhile, mfing iron man can fly anywhere and shoot from the sky at all times....

That's 8 years of post release development and optimization that blizzard has had to work with. And 3rd, both Overwatch and Valorant are First person, low pov running games with fixed environments. Rivals is a wide pov 3d person shooter with dynamic environments, the maps are way more complex with likely twice the amount of moving triangles at least. It's a more complex game, that just released. You gotta give it time.
@@zaofactor I rate games based off of what they are, not what they could/will be. When the game actually gets 100+ fps of optimization I'll change my opinion.
I play on a 1060 as well and my game always stutters at the beginning of every match and then it slowly gets better. Really annoying.
how are you getting 43 degrees Celsius with the 1060 running at 98%?
Open bench?
20:30 what is the tool you used to remove old drivers? Never heard of DDU
Display Driver Uninstaller
As a gaming laptop with a 1060 that is 7 years-old I can't even run it at 40fps at 720p with everything at low or off
You look like a cool guy!
How did you manage to use FSR3 Frame generation on GTX 1060? Did you install any mods in the game or something else?
it should be gpu agnostic. it doesn't work for you?
@@fooboomoo What is gpu agnostic??
@@tovasito He means it doesn't matter what GPU you have, unlike DLSS which requires an RTX GPU.
Watched until 16:00 Maybe frame gen and all settings you want, restart the game and it should work in theory. This happened to me in ratchet & Clank rift apart pc version.
Can you do Rx 580 Next time in this Game ? I really wanna know
I'm disappointed you can't disable reflections for some reason.
bro i have a 3070 and this game is UNPLAYABLE no matter what settings i have set it’s impossible to play. screen stuttering consistently its horrible. i have no idea what to do
wait i figured out the problem, it had me on the japanese server….
I am getting 110 fps avg on normal match and 165-185 on training range with lowest possible settings and 720p(without 720p i get like 86-97 something but it drops to under 60 sometimes)
And i am using rx 470 4gb which is worser than the minimum requirement
The goat🎉
Hello krizzp! Is your 3200Mhz ram cl14 or cl 16?
I lent my buddy a spare pc I had so he could play this game. Has a 1060 3GB and first gen Ryzen 5. Works ok. Sits around 60 fps but definitely a little spikey
I actually play this game a little but on a 970!
Its with FSR + AMD FG on all Low but I get a solid 40-50 with my little sharky jeff
Dang that’s not too bad ig
Hi. How does it work after the update though? They added lower graphic settings with Season 1. Any improvement? Let me know if you are doing another video. Thanks!
I’ve never understood why ppl don’t bench PvP games while the PvP game is playing. I’ve seen frames drop going from a pve mission to a PvP mode
So should we limit our fps to 60 in the graphics settings or can we set it higher? Thanks for the video!
can you test the nvidia rtx 3050 6gb laptop?
day 2
it's kinda sad considering the fact that not long ago i would not even get 30 fps on this game and now i am getting anywhere around 250-300
There's probably some super unoptimised physics causing it to be CPU bound limiting the FPS independent of graphics settings
waiting for b580 benchmarks!!
why u keep playin 1080? would dropping to 720 help?
1600x900 would probably be perfect
The Last of Us Part ll Remastered coming to PC April 3rd 2025
Nixxes will be working with Iron Galaxy, good port will be
Spider-Islands map occasional frame drops even good pc, other map work fine just spider island map
can u do a video with the 1050ti on the new fortnite season?
oh sweet, would you please test my rtx 2060 in the future, wanna see if you get higher fps, becuase im using a z390 aorus ultra a i7 8700 32gb of ddr4 and a 2060 so please tets in the future
i wanna see if you get more or less
could you keep using th3 7800x3d. whats the point of using a lower end cpu if its not gonna bottleneck it anyways? just use the best cpu to squeeze every bit out of the card
TAAU at 50% Res looks good and higher FPS than FSR
how will it perform on gtx 1060 3gb ?
Badly
These days every game have GTX 1060 have in the minimum requirement 😂
It's an 8.5 year old GPU.
Will you benchmark kingdom come deliverance 2 on feb 4
Hell yeah! KCD was one of my favorite games when it came out 🙂

Excuse me what? I have a GTX 1060 6GB and I'm getting 120-ish FPS?
Nvidia and AMD tld developers to not optimize new games so people have to upgrade their GPU forbplaying this game which is equal to overwatch 1 in terms of graphics
It's crazy how a game that looks worse that overwatch 2 has way worse performance
Sometimes i feel like the developers never care about optimization and only abuse fsr and frame generation
I've got a 3060ti and the game can't hit a consistent 100 FPS on Medium
That's just sad, what the hell...
What? I also have 3060ti and i get around 120-140fps on medium (with high textures)
What cpu do you have?
hello kryzzp,i hope you are alright.
just wanted to tell you that indiana jones and great circle gets more intenisve in thailand mission.you might want to check that out.
Should've been Unreal 4 or even super modified 3. Way more people playing, sells, etc. SAME LOOKS.
I used to have a 1060,but i saved up to a 2080 last year...im holding up pretty good right?
considering how old the 1060 is and how its holding up, youve got a good 6~ years on it so yeah ur pretty good
Bro marvel rivals is so good and they dont realize the amout of lower end pc players they are losing because of bad optimization. If the game was better optimized the player base would be so much bigger
I have 4070 laptop and fps hovers around 80 to 90
I have a question as a pc building noob should I go for the 4070 super ti or just the 4070 super and what cpu will be the best price to performance
ti super is around 15% faster than the super
I also have a MSI Gaming X variant
The reason why fsr made the game performed worse because it was already on at balanced and there is. NO WAY TO DISABLE IT😭
My gtx 1650 gets 10fps on certain maps...
Yeah I need to play with TAAU with render at 50% ☠️☠️☠️
same thing happening to me with gtx 1660ti, I gone back to overwatch i get 120 fps with 1400p no upscale
I have rhis gpu and an i7 7700, which one is the bottleneck? It takes me forever to get into the match, i havent loaded in before a match started yet and half the time it wont load at all then ill get a 5min timeout
Could be the ram. Or your internet connection.
Hey man i have a problem in all games not only marvel rivals so everything has dots and worse texture and form afar everything is just dots but if i take a screen shot it LOOKS NORMAL ..
At this point, I refuse to download any games made on stutter engine 5
man i am playing with -ve requirements. i got gtx 1650 gddr5
the goat
1060 gang rise up!
Damnn🔥🔥
bro really said 16 gb ram is low end pc 😔
Spiderman is the most broken part about this game.. no spider sense to dodge bullets, cant shoot webs from the walls, can only swing 3 times.. meanwhile, mfing iron man can fly anywhere and shoot from the sky at all times....
I really like how I have a GTX 1650 and the graphics look way worse (running on 20 FPS lowest settings)
Frame generation is not smooth .So much latency
I guess its really just my cpu holding me back
i had exact the same card until like 3 months ago i bought used 3060 Ti for 200 Eur
Good upgrade, enjoy the 3060Ti, it was my main GPU a few years ago and it was an awesome experience 🙂
