Favorite part of this game is how every character can be an absolute problem. Most people don’t utilize Groot’s wall ability well but when someone does it’s a massive pain in the ass. Never gave Moonknight much thought in my matches until one spent the entire game dropping anks on my head. Logged off of comp for the rest of the night. A mid wolverine is no issue but a good one will break you over their knee. It makes team building necessary and fun.

@@isky6541 its pitch black but every 10 seconds or when you take damage/deal it you are able to see the entire map for 2 seconds including highlighted enemy/ally positions, then just give him Spidermans's mobility to make the true crackhead experience.

gotta be honest, as someone who has shit aim and was hardstuck in gold due to this in overwatch, the roster being almost 50% melee characters makes this game so fun and accessable to me, I can finally shine with good plays because I'm way better and pulling off combos at close range than aiming from afar.
Big same. I love that there's plenty of choice aside from "get gud at aiming". I still have a huge pool of characters I can use, and thankfully healer and tank have always been my go tos anyway, and a lot of them are great to play even wihout precise aim (most healers have some kiinda tracking, lotta tanks are melee). Plus almost every character feels over powered as heck, which makes each match super fast paced, and means even if your aim is off, you're still getting picks because you can basically two shot almost anyone. Feels like you can still make a difference. Overwatch ended up just feeling frustrating. I'm not feeling the same frustration in Rivals.
Another thing is the interactions in this game feels super full of life. The voice actors they chose killed it and the lines feel very in character too for the majority of them.
I think most of all the voice actors have already played their respective characters before in older titles or TV shows. Spider-Man is the same VA from the PS Spider-Man titles and Black Panther is from Earths Mightiest Heroes
How to counter Jeff with no abilities: Just listen for his ult and disperse. If at least a few escape, just take him down before he takes your team away.
Another way you can tell that the devs are genuine Marvel fans is by looking at the quotes in the description of cosmetics. The GotG skin for Rocket in particular stands out to me.
I really want Spider Ham in the game as a new Vanguard. The idea of a deranged cartoon pig swinging a hammer at Iron Man and throwing comical cartoon bombs at Venom is my dream. Also, he is a Vanguard because cartoon characters never die.

There are going to be your god-playing Hawkeyes, Iron fists, and Ironmans, but if you put a fast-moving DPS or close melee next to them (or Punisher) plus a healer, the fear of God is close. Every character has good counter play, hell I watched a mantis put a Wanda in her ult TO SLEEP and then KILL HER, LIKE HOLY SHIT WHAT??? If anything, the state the game is in requires teamwork to counter insane players or characters, and so many games are ridiculously close no matter what the team composition is. 12:09

I find the “defeat enemies with this character” is their way of trying to get people to play more characters than stick to one main Because getting stuck on one main could make the game repetitive and boring if you have no variety, you’ll eventually get bored of a single character so having a second, third, or even a fourth main would let you spice things up while playing different styles like vanguard or strategist (since most people are duelists)
It's working fine for me so far, I want to try them all and have at least 1 main in each category, and so far got Loki for Strategist, Winter Soldier for Duelist but, haven't landed on anyone in Vanguard yet.

Daredevil should be extremely op with an auto dodge ability on a resource meter but be completely colorblind and some sounds randomly play at 200% volume.
The main probelm with the game is mostly just dealing with UE5. Im glad that we are getting lots of fun 3rd person shooters to play. Im glad that they are arent afraid to make lots of crazy stuff in this game

I looked up the minimum requirements for marvel rivals and the benchmarks for them are each +200% better than my specs lmao. Jeff is a menace only because we are not used to it, and people like to ''stand in the fire''. When you hear his ult, and especially if you see the giant circle...just avoid it? Almost every hero has an escape ability. Some can avoid jeff without even using their escape, like Punisher entering turret mode and he can't be touched by him. My main was jeff for 60 rounds until I switched to other characters, I got eaten twice, because I know how jeff works having played it
I feel like in this game. Any character can be OP in the right hands. Learning how to use the heroes is crucial. For the most part, there isn’t one character that can be picked and just make it one sided. I like that there is still skill involved with the characters.
Despite every Hero having something "overpowered" in their kit, none of it feels cheap. And I'm not entirely sure how they did that. For example: Jeff swallowing FOUR of your teammates and throwing them into the abyss SHOULD feel horrible and cheap, but somehow it just makes me laugh as I plummet into the void.
I think that'll depend on how strict the Meta is. Right now the one Hero I feel is clearly overpowered is Mantis. She's CLEARLY the best Support IF you can land headshots (basically giving her infinite resources. I was Dmg boosting all three DPS AND myself and still had enough resources to heal as well)
If they wanna change Jeff Ult, smash already solved this problem, just make it so when Jeff dies, enemies get popped up. So characters with movement (80% of the cast) can recover on maps with low ledges

Marvel UI is not smooth at all. There are a lot of UI/UX improvements they can take from Overwatch. Just to name a few: 1. Allow friends to join the group even if the match is on going 2. Having a hotkey to access friends list even if in game 3. Allow to exit the game quickly after the match 4. Allow to leave the group quickly

WandaVision was peak fiction to me and I don’t care who disagrees or clowns me. It was SO COOL watching how the world changed around her each episode & seeing that disturbing deadpan in EP 1. But I still hate that they killed Quicksilver & then replaced him with the more popular version.
watch all of the marvel movies but stop at Avengers Endgame. the rest are cash grabs.

Daredevil should be extremely op with an auto dodge ability on a resource meter but be completely colorblind and some sounds randomly play at 200% volume.

The main probelm with the game is mostly just dealing with UE5. Im glad that we are getting lots of fun 3rd person shooters to play. Im glad that they are arent afraid to make lots of crazy stuff in this game
I love the what they did with the battle pass.
It’s such a smart idea bc it lets people buy things they missed out on.
Also I like the battle pass mission that force me to play other hero’s.

Same, my cpu is from 12 years ago and my gpu is from 8 years ago, and they were mid even then. I looked up the minimum requirements for marvel rivals and the benchmarks for them are each +200% better than my specs lmao. I think a $500 pc can probably play this game with modern parts but I haven't gotten around to it
Btw the battlepass will not be 5 dollars starting season 1 because there doubling the content in it 10$ for 10-12 skins and there unique things respectively.
Just remember season 0 is ment to have half the content they already had season 1 basically done before release we have a lot of upcoming content to play with

Yea they gave him Amadeus Cho’s hair and it just doesn’t work. It works for Cho cause he is a young and hip Hulk, but Bruce should always be an old nerd and when he Hulks out his hair should be wild and untamed.

Jeff is a menace only because we are not used to it, and people like to ''stand in the fire''. When you hear his ult, and especially if you see the giant circle...just avoid it? Almost every hero has an escape ability. Some can avoid jeff without even using their escape, like Punisher entering turret mode and he can't be touched by him. My main was jeff for 60 rounds until I switched to other characters, I got eaten twice, because I know how jeff works having played it
I feel like in this game. Any character can be OP in the right hands. Learning how to use the heroes is crucial. For the most part, there isn’t one character that can be picked and just make it one sided. I like that there is still skill involved with the characters.

Despite every Hero having something "overpowered" in their kit, none of it feels cheap. And I'm not entirely sure how they did that.
For example: Jeff swallowing FOUR of your teammates and throwing them into the abyss SHOULD feel horrible and cheap, but somehow it just makes me laugh as I plummet into the void.
because the game is new. In a few months what was funny is now standard and cheap
I think that'll depend on how strict the Meta is. Right now the one Hero I feel is clearly overpowered is Mantis. She's CLEARLY the best Support IF you can land headshots (basically giving her infinite resources. I was Dmg boosting all three DPS AND myself and still had enough resources to heal as well)

If they wanna change Jeff Ult, smash already solved this problem, just make it so when Jeff dies, enemies get popped up. So characters with movement (80% of the cast) can recover on maps with low ledges
They just need to give us a second longer reaction time so we can potentially get out when it starts.

It doesn't start the cool down till the animation for the uppercut is over and also he edited from one uppercut to another if you didn't notice and that what you meant
Marvel UI is not smooth at all. There are a lot of UI/UX improvements they can take from Overwatch. Just to name a few:
1. Allow friends to join the group even if the match is on going
2. Having a hotkey to access friends list even if in game
3. Allow to exit the game quickly after the match
4. Allow to leave the group quickly
The daredevil part of the vid was genius
