- Ep.1 documents why and how I approached the tough 2024 job market. My goal was to only apply with referrals to get a higher chance of getting interviews. To do that, I sent over 180 messages on Linkedin. In the next video, I will talk about what responses I was getting from people.

One thing to note is that some of these connections will respond quite negatively on how we're going about sending direct referral request. I've had a handful of people on LinkedIn that basically gave me a lecture on why I shouldn't ask for referrals lol. Just a heads up for some of job seekers out there!
this happened to me as well! I explained in ep2 that some people said they only give referrals they worked with before, which is totally understandable. :)

Hi! I don't know. Maybe you can try sending to 30 people and see if you get decent results? If not, maybe need to tweak it to be a bit less blunt.
