Is it recommended to use LinkedIn premium because I heard that there is limit to how many LinkedIn connections notes you can send to a person?
I had linkedin premium during the job searching period. The most connections I sent out in a week was 170ish. I think 200 might be the limit per week.
200 is the weekly limit if you have Premium; it might only be 100 without Premium. You also a 300 character (including spaces) limit for invite messages on Premium, versus 200 without
What is the name of the software that you used to trailer the resume?
so I tried several paid/free tools. WonsultingAI, Simplify, ChatGPT. For me, I stuck with chatgpt

if I had multiple referrals for one company, I just chose the first one I got!

Wow really it’s data driven and helpful 👌👌 what if you just moved to another country and you barely have any mutual connection from alumni or company 🤔 I know it’s rare but that’s what I’m struggling with right now.
yeah that is tough. If I didn't have any mutual connections or common grounds like alumni, I think I would have gotten far less responses. Hopefully, there are other ways to explore any mutual connections
Great video! Been doing this as well for my job hunting process. Thank you for sharing your resources and insights! One thing to note is that some of these connections will respond quite negatively on how we're going about sending direct referral request. I've had a handful of people on LinkedIn that basically gave me a lecture on why I shouldn't ask for referrals lol. Just a heads up for some of job seekers out there!
this happened to me as well! I explained in ep2 that some people said they only give referrals they worked with before, which is totally understandable. :)

Can you expand on how do these people refer you? Like do they refer you on Linkedln or do you give the name of the person under the section of the job application which asks for do you have any referals?
there are multiple ways! 1. they send a referral link where you can click and apply through that link. 2. they will submit your information in their internal portal. In this case, you don't have to do anything. 3. they will contact a recruiter and the recruiter will contact you.

I explained that in episode 1 but I searched jobs on linkedin and made sure that most of my experience aligned with the preferred qualification section!
Thanks man! Observing the current market situation and also being a fresher, it's tough to get a job but I think these methods will definitely help me out (I got placed from the university last year but got laid off after they had 3 months of training, quite sad but I can't do anything about it) Waiting for your resume video.

Hi! I don't know. Maybe you can try sending to 30 people and see if you get decent results? If not, maybe need to tweak it to be a bit less blunt.
