A lot of people slept on the P-10c when I came out years ago…I’m not really into the short grip guns like these but glad there are options for people at a phenomenal price.
The S is my pocket everyday carry for the past year. Granted I wear overalls with generous sized pockets. Great thing about CZ is you point and it hits the target.
I’m loving my p-10m. As a revolver guy used to shooting in double action, transitioning to the p-10m’s trigger pull is a breeze. It really does feel more like an added safety to me which gives me more peace of mind and confidence while carrying it. Also, the capacity is more than my six shot snubby so I have no complaints on that either. I carry it with a universal holster by Concealed Carrier, and can easily have it on me all day without any fatigue or discomfort. It’s a slight hassle to field strip, and I can’t find any sight upgrades. That being said, I have zero buyers remorse.
I picked up my Glock 43x after issues with my Canik MC9, but before I bought it my buddy carried a CZ and asked me to at least just hold it while I was at Cabela's, I can tell you it felt amazing. I didn't end up buying it and stuck with the Glock 43 because I do not know enough about their reliability but I can tell you it felt amazing holding it, and the slide was like butter. The CZ p10S is on my purchase list for the future for sure, always on sale.
I took my stock P10s with iron sights to the range recently. The first drill I shot starts at the 25 yard line with 4 shots prone then 4 shots standing unsupported. Of those 8 rounds from 25 yards with the P10s, 5 were in the 10 ring and the remaining 3 rounds were in the 9 ring. I shot that same drill today with my Glock 26 with iron sights and the results from 25 yards were acceptable but not even close to being as impressive as what I achieved with the P10s.
My experience is quite different than yours. My groupings are virtually identical with my 1996 G26 and my new P10S. Doesn’t make any sense at all to me, CZ has longer barrel, longer sight radius, and better ergonomics.
I agree with you on all the points you made. I don’t have the S but I have the P10C and have had it since it hit the market. I picked up the CZ P10M for a purposeful summer travel firearm. It’s reliable and small enough to carry anywhere and easy to transport in luggage for flights. It also has the pic rail that allows me to put a light on the this firearm for night time defense if needed at the hotel or visiting and staying with family. I was able to pick mine up new for $233.
It is mindboggling to me the way such a quality pistol like the CZ P-10 has come down so dramatically in price. New Glock gen 3, are $500, and there are 2 generations after that! Most polymer plastic strikers are never going to appreciate like the old metal guns did, but at least Glock seems to hold their price. What do you attribute that to?
P10m is a miss for me. I’m a cz fan , sold almost all my Glocks for cz’s. The only Glock I have left is my 43x, but the m just doesn’t have a place in my safe. Although, I do think cz will come out with a 43x style p10 and when they do, they will have no choice but to take my money! Lol 😅
I had the M for a while, but honestly after I got the S, the slightly bigger (and i mean lets be honest its very slight) is 100000% worth everything else IMO. I mean yeah i love single stacks too but frankly not as much for my carry.
I got the +3 mag base for the p10m and it makes it 100% better. I have larger hands so my pinky would have to curl under the mag which i hated, once i got that extension it made the gun feel and shoot unbelievably. My state is tuff on double stacks and anything over 10rnds so its just perfect for me.
How good are they in us? I’m in Czech, where they are originally made. And they are not considered reliable, among locals. “Buy CZ and get ready: something will break in 6 months, your complaint will be in review for a year and warranty repair will not be granted”
A nice option would be to put a P10S lock on a P10C frame. The frame would need to be shortened at the front, but the result would be a much better pistol than the Glock 19x.
I want to add a ccw. As an SP-01 fan, I’m very interested in the P-01. But also want to try the P-10 S and M. And yet…calling every range that rents in a 150 mile radius of Chicago…nobody has them. Any thoughts? Even though it’s CZ, I won’t buy until I try
You must have watched Colion complaining. Hahaha. I picked up the P10-M from PSA on sale for $225. Every firearm I own has a different manual of arms. Some have a heel release for the magazine (P64) or bottom of the grip like the Beretta 92S. The lack of a slide release is not something that bothers me at all. I carried a PPK/S for years, also no slide release, and the mag release is in an odd location.
I love my P10m, BUT it is impossible to find aftermarket or even OEM support for it. I dropped my p10m and messed up the rear sight, i can't find a replacement and I've been looking for months.
The cz has more muzzle flip than the 26 has less felt recoil. The muzzle flip is similar to my 19 and 19 builds but I feel less recoil than a 19 as well.
@@spnfirearms Thanks, I own a p10C but was surprised by the amount of muzzle flip on it. I compared it to a rented Glock 19 and was surprised by how much less recoil there was in the 19. Now I just need to find a 26 to rent. I'm thinking the Glock grip angle is the main reason for shooting the 19 better than my p10C.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any factory 10 round magazines, or extensions anywhere! Luckily, Hyve currently has +2 baseplate extensions available. I ordered 2 of them this week. I'll keep you posted on how they work once I get a chance to test them out. Happy Friday!

@@ChrisfromGeorgia please do, I ended up putting it back to stock. CZ customs has yet to correct this problem. What I believe it needs is a longer mag spring to have enough pressure push up the follower for the internal slide lock.

More people need to learn not to use the slide stop as a release. I see guys polishing their slide stops on M&P guns to make the slide stop work as a release...😅 Smh. No one reads there owners manuals and it shows.
It is weird more glock users arent cz fanboys, including myself. It technically is probably a better gun. So why don't i own one? I have no idea. Maybe the fact the glock handle is shorter, mags are everywhere and a history. . I really don't know.

I'm sure no "expert" but when I disassemble my P 10 M I have to admire it's a simple and solid construction, I'd think a very long service life.

I noticed that the apx carry trigger is same way .. Definitely 5-6 pound and 2 more pounds then the new apx that came out
