- We use thin aluminium trays to cook our pizzas on when using ur home oven or wood fired oven for a number of reasons.
You can still achieve a crispy base with a few tricks!

Where did you source your pyrolytt bricks in NZ, cheers.
West Auckland, Brick and Cobble factory.
They are not suitable to cook straight on though…
NICE...Can you use aluminium takeaway trays in your pizza oven too... if you were doing a pasta bake in them?
Depends on the heat of the oven. If it’s not too hot I guess it could work.
Aluminium melts at 660 deg C so those trays would melt easily at that temp being quite thin.
