I live in a rural rea and have neighbors from hell who are working on adverse possession of part of our land. Needless to say, I need good video coverage of my lot boundary but they are watching me closely. So I have trouble getting cameras placed where I can count on them to capture video of them trespassing without them seeing me place it. I tried a cellular camera and it works but it doesnt really have good clarity or motion detection other than the grass and vines directly in front of it. And it's got a solar panel to recharge so they saw it easily and avoid it. My other trail cams have missed trespassers when they broke into my gate and actually popped a hook and eye latch out of the fence gate because they pushed so hard. I don't know how they missed that as they were all circling it, in the woods, about 25 feet or less away. I cant extend my Wifi to the lot boundary at 5 acres. And the boundary is on the other side of a treeline and is closer to their house than mine. So this is a vexing problem. Trail cams are not to be relied upon but are okay to use as a back up. They'll probably let you down like they let me down.
I’m about to buy my first trail camera and l found this video to be an excellent introduction on how to use it and how to set it up, thanks for sharing. 😊👍👍
Did you ever think of the real daylight robbery is that of your direct debit and credit card charges from your landline and wifi router and other monthly charges. I dare you to go through them all and see if you really need all of these services. For example you could use a 3G 4G sim card at home then put it in your trail camera and free wifi when your out. Cancel everything.
Did you research on whether it is more important to deter criminals? Have cameras with spotlights motion sensing ect. Versus have secret cameras to get their picture? I'm not 100% sure but I remember hearing a burglar talk about going to the place that has no dog and no security system. Easy fruit to pick, verses let them break in and hope to catch them later because of a picture seems like a long shot.
I have my camera set up to watch the front door at the farm house on my hunting property. I know when someone’s there before they even put the car in park!

I have my cameras set up on both sides of my trailer in front of the entrances. They are set to operate at night and while I'm at work.
You guys are putting out great content. Keep up the good work!

Great idea! I need to set one of these up watching my deer camp.
Awesome video, thank you
Is there a wifi option? We don't have cell reception by our shop usually, its very spotty. Open to ideas!
Yes there are both
Great use for cellular cameras. Especially if you can’t be at the cabin all the time
Thank you, very helpful.
My Render works great for security at my house! Lets me know right away when someone is in my driveway!
Good stuff!
any way to use trail camera as cctv ,and record and watch footage like cctv does?
Only live streaming cams do that
Why not use a wifi trail cam for home and a cell cam for out on the trail where you don't have wifi?

Now we can rob that place, we know which angels the cameras don’t cover 😂
Why not just use a Door Bell camera,,,much cheaper.
Cellular uses phone.. Doorbell cam needs wifi
Good info, thank you!
