That's because the decompression is so high due to the ultra-long throw. Of course in reality an engine like this would be knocking and misfiring constantly due to the insane compression being generated, unless it was set up to drop the compression ratio by opening the intake valve during compression to bring it down to reasonable levels.
@@redwaller1 Honda does this to promote spin, but it lost in newer models, screws you can set on carburetor models vs rollers and then hydraulic oil pressure… The valve float and intake harmonics are a dynamic of efficiency too… the flame sucks in air and the valve doesn’t seat because tdb it’s burned everything. Creates vacuum! Unless you have a plenum and valve s that open to spin. One opens just slightly on the intake side to promote clean air Or one side on the exhaust to promote torque. Another method is timing of spark and etc being advanced.
