who's idea was this catalog.engine-sim.parts/parts/218
I like how when he revs the "engine" his fps drop 💀
Amazing sound
If the pistons were bigger, Ship Engine
Sounds like a Baldwin 608SC at full throttle!
My laptop would explode if i tried to load this thing 💀
If your engine doesn't idle at 350RPM, Its technically inferior
The lag on that throttle is crazy tho
None of the engines you have made work.
Crossplane? Why?
Ship engine
ever heard of the wartsila power station engines?? the rta96 produced 109000 horsepower. 38 inch bore and an 8 foot stroke!
A cross plane I4? 💀
0:49
Container ship engine
Why didn’t you rev it higher?
bro accurately made the sound of a exhaust leak in engine sim
Now do a 72° V8 with 72° Crank throws and a V10 based Firing order, lets see what it sounds like
Its absolute criminal to not dyno this thing
You're an order of magnitude off from the largest ship engine ever built - an inline 14 of 35,000 Litres.
American v8 be like :
That's a bit naughty.
hey man i want to make stupid engines too pls tell how to
It took a good minute to start lmao
the code doesn't even work. :-(
where can i play with this?
Nascar
1-3-4-2
Hi man can you please make 4stroke 8.6L V12?
secondary imbalance: the movie
I guess I need to Google just what tf "big bang" means for an engine. This seems like just a flat-8 at first.
effieciency: %☹
It even tried to run backwards when you tried to start it!
Ah, yes. If Porsche went NASCAR.
throw a big cam in there an lemme swap it in my k5 blazer
Crossplane crank
*starter dont have enough torque *it could improve by altering afr with adding molecular_air parameter to intake *u could incease bore and decrease stroke and add some cam lift
now thats what i call a straight 8 engine
A Flat (Boxer is what they are called in America) 10 engine would be interesting to see!
Boxers are a subset of flat engines. Not all flat engines are boxers. Boxers have piston pairs in opposite banks come to top dead centre at the same time. A famous (bordering infamous) exception is Ferrari's "boxer" 12, which doesn't actually have a boxer crank, rather a standard V12 crank. So it isn't a boxer at all.
Yes I am aware@@identiticrisis, however, the boxer came before the flat-v, the flat v was an afterthought. In America, they-re called 180 degree V engines. And the most common ones are boxer engines, sooo, yea.
@@boywhohasl1vedhascometodie469 sooo, per your first comment, a flat engine is called a boxer in "America". Your second comment states that the flat V was an afterthought (since you claim the boxer came first) and they're usually called 180 V engines (in "America"). But the most common flat v engine is a boxer. Seems needlessly complicated and contradictory. Engines with banks disposed at 180 degrees have always been called flat, across the globe, regardless of crank configuration. Yes, many if not most of them are boxers, and have often been called as such. Some flat engines which were not boxers have also been called boxers (Ferrari), which has led to many embarrassed would-be Ferrari cognoscenti. I suspect, due to the way it is deployed and defended, that embarrasment is the real origin of the 180 V nonsense term, _actually_
@@identiticrisis yes, because legit every single engine that is a flat engine that’s sold in America is a Boxer engine, or if we’re getting overtly pedantic, the Conta engine. The thing that’s different about that is that each piston has its own crankpin, and operate out of sync with one another, which cancels majority of vibrations. With the 180 Flat V on the other engine, such as some Ferrari engines, they implement two pistons to each crankpin, which is exactly what a V8 engine does. The caveat is that it only cancels out vibrations if you have more pistons (that’s why we don’t see a Flat V4 or 6, since the vibrations would be terrible side to side, and for the Flat V6, it would have mildly curved vibrations compared to the Flat V4). Which is why they’re only implemented in 8 cylinders or above, since you have an equal force traveling the same direction, meanwhile with the Flat V4, you have uneven forced both traveling at different directions. And in closing, you can argue that the Flat V term is obsolete, however, with how pedantic engines can be, the term needs to exist.
@@boywhohasl1vedhascometodie469 A flat 8 would also be imbalanced if it used a normal flatplane or crossplane crank. The boxer obviously is not, because the pistons are perfectly in phase, but move in opposite directions. In any flat engine there should not be any vertical component to the imbalance, unless it's caused by crank counterweights, because the pistons never move vertically. So a flat 6 would rock around a vertical axis, but not vertically. Flat V is an oxymoron and has no real place in actual engine pedantry. There are V engines that don't adhere to the common crankpin rule but definitely aren't boxers either. Ford V4s or any 60 degree V6 for example. If a flat engine is not a boxer, it is best to describe the crankshaft properly, as is the case for every other category of engine configuration. Historically there have been many examples of flat engines, so it's not enough to only consider what is currently on sale in "America" in the automotive sector. A flat 10 using a normal 5 cylinder crank would be superior to a boxer 10 by most measures, incendentally.
at idle it kind of sounds like a 5.7 hemi ram 1500 modified exhaust
Sounds like my old Briggs & Stratton lawnmower 😅
Retry this engine as a forced inducted 2 stroke diesel (intake ports but exhaust valves) you'll find it runs great
You've gone from terrible marine engines, to terrible sports car engines. I love it!
Imagine the vibrations. There's a reason there aren't big I4s IRL.
The Titanic's engines were technically I4s, but steam powered
WHY IS IT CROSSPLANE AAAAAH
THAT IS AN INSANELY GOOFY AHH ENGINE
GOOFY AHH PISTONS LOL
I hate these people throwing together trashy big bang engines that sound nothing like an 8 cyl
i bet you put pineapple on pizza dont you
@@Chillin4030 no this person puts banana on pizza, pinapple is fine when paired with ham. this person is just a cock womble
Civics at 4AM be like:
"How UnderSquare would you like the engine to be?" "Yes"
We're just gonna ignore that the conrods are clipping through the cylinder walls then? :D
