unmentioned but big: chovy holds his Q for a short time at around 10:00 because his W is about to come off CD getting him a better punish. lots of people would throw out Q 2 seconds early and not get the W off
Honestly this breakdown was super insightful and I really like how they bring up how the other person is trying to play the game. Creating a gameplan and knowing what to look out for when you consider the other player and what their win condition is has helped me a lot.
I do wish more of these videos included what to do as a melee champ in a lot of these situations, like how do I properly space when going for CS vs a ranged champ like Ori or Syndra when they just punish me for free on every minion?
So... If your enemy laner is smart, good at the game, knows how to play and isn't a bronze 5 scrub, then they'll make these exact plays so that you can accurately punish them for them. You then have to rely on them fucking up and leveling the wrong ability. You then have to rely on their Jungle NEVER helping the flagging lane. You then have to rely on their botlane/toplane not roaming to take you out to help Zoe. You then have to rely on... Yeah this is why I HATE when high elo players make videos acting as if ANY of this is applicable to lower elo. It's like when people do "I only play X champ to plat, lets see how long it takes!" and then they get placed into diamond because they're already plat 1 on their main. Spoiler alert. IT DOESN'T COUNT. You can apply your OWN skills to a low elo game. Yes. You can adapt to fight people who are worse, mechanically, than you. Yes. You cannot have a whole ass team of challenger players playing perfect games, missing only one in ten skillshots and not getting goonsquadded at level 1 because the enemy team decided "Lets fuck this persons game up entirely".
The Thumbnail with 300cs at 20:00 min is a straight lie. Usually you don't do this, and it's such a shame. I wanted to buy a subscription on skill-capped but if you lie here, you'll lie there too.
i think there should be age competitive to be honest... anyone whos above 25 competes with ppl up to 30-35 then the rest.. .that way, there are more people joining without having to get absolute shit on in the main event.
Its pretty applicable he won cause he knew her win con pushing punished her for going e first contested cs baited her cc.And knew the enemy jungle couldnt gank well as he was above 70 percent hp the whole match against a assassin in the durability patch.Didnt spam his abilities not wanting to get too low on mana. All of this is very useful information that is applicable in almost all elos and lanes
@@Schoko4craft The concept is simple, applying it depending on the match up and with such precision is hard to master, which is why this game is a challenger-mid trashing another challenger-mid with it. If you need to think about it is way less effective.
Im wondering, here indeed he is not killable by a gank, so high elo Kha doesn't bother coming, but in low elo, wouldn't a jgl see the pressure and just come and lose time? we would trade health with him which would enventually release some lane pressure... without our jgl taking advantage of the bad gank. Am I right?
If khazix ganks he loses about 45 seconds he could be clearing or ganking another lane and ur jg will take advantage of this time people dont just waste extra time because they see there mid getting ganked
to be fair the zoe's Q that hits him had to deal much more dmg than Nothing. That would have changed that trade, im really not sure what happened and the zoom-in on the champ potrait doesnt let us see properly what buffs happened in that moment. But Bone plating was not enough to take no dmg, and it feels like it was already over.
@@KrolGaming Zoe Q level one doesnt deal a lot of damage. Bone plating + magic resist runes + maybe a sip of hp potion that regenerated a little hp back right when he took damage, equals to this what you saw
This might come off as hating but I say this with the best intentions. This is a really low level analysis. Analyzing high elo players is becoming a more and more common trend and there’s a lot of channels that do it significantly better and more in depth analysis. Dobby for example reviews countless high elo players and offers better tips than slow push and punish the enemy for csing. He explains much deeper concepts like diverting minion aggro not “enemy leveled wrong ability so Chovy can cs for free” In the nicest way if you’re gonna review someone like Chovy you’ve gotta do a lot better than a 10 minute video on only lv.1-3 with 0 new information.

mid gap at 3 mins lol. Hes nuts
You haven’t mentioned how he moved down after zoe q1 and then immediately up to dodge q2. He has basically decided where Zoe should aim her Q.
watching professional players being analysed show how good they are and that is amazing

more high elo laning

Very well analyzed video. I feel like I understood a lot.
Whats the song´s name playing in the background?
Is not kassadin good vs these picks?
Thx Ezreal!
Finally I learnt how to block illaoi e because it's really anoyyinh
I like more the voice they used for the old guides, but I like the ezreal voice better on the patch reviews tier lists
my low elo brain is melting how does this guy never misses one cs
Finally another Marco guide
this isn’t micro?
This isnt macro
Polo

How he hits lvl 2” This man has had 10 trades already and is just now hitting lvl 2

This is interesting but hardly applicable. You either play 8 hours per day and make it second nature, or you just can't play like this.
Bait by standing behind nearly dead minions and try to contest every enemy last hit? I don't think it's that hard to master this skill

It only fails if the other players are aggro and want to throw their leads by constantly ganking you for the lols.

To big brain for my unranked account
Skillcapped can you make a tutorial how tp counter katarina she seems like she just doesn't apply tp any of those rules
Punish her cooldowns
