Idatalink Maestro RR stereo system in a 2020 F150

- The F-150 with the grille lights is back. This time we are dropping a full stereo system using the Maestro RR idatalink system. This allows communication with the vehicle to allow the stereo to display a lot of vehicle info. It displays door and hood status, battery voltage, tire pressure, transmission gear, and check engine light status. You can read DTC's for the vehicle. You can reset the DTC's.
You will have the steering wheel controls and the retained accessory power for the new stereo. There are a lot of features with the Maestro RR unit. Hopefully we will do a detailed review on the unit in the future.
Kenwood excelon stereo and amplifier, Blaupunkt bass processor, Kenwood speakers and kicker subwoofer. Not a lot of custom stuff. Just a cool deck with cool idatalink features.

Dang, good video! Im installing a basic system right now my brother did all the wiring and sent it up to me. I didnt realize how much more complex these new systems are.
There are a lot of features available. Just a matter if finding what suits your needs and budget.

looks like you mounted the amp right in front of the floor heat for the back seat area ? would that not over heat the amp?
Great that you noticed. Here un the imperial valley we go through terrible heat in the summer. We don't have terrible cold though.
I talk to the customer about this vent issue. If they use the heater often, i block the vent. If not, i leave it open so when they use ac in the summer it cools the amp.

What did all of this cost?
Its been a while and covid drove the prices way up. Not cheap, thats for sure.
