650R owner here also. Miss my bike T_T it's been locked away for winter storage since Late October last year. The garages will open up on April 5, - so looking forward to getting him back.

I love my CBR650R too ❤️ I have a red one on a 72 plate. Akrapovic full system, evotech tail tidy, sports pack (incl. Quickshifter, Smoked Screen, Seat Cowl), Full Easigrip tank pads (Top and Sides) Raximo adjustable levers and Progrip grips. I have the Evotech crash protection, lever guards and rad guard on order and I'm contemplating the Rizoma stealth mirrors, jist not sure how good they would be for seeing behind me 🤷♂️ I work for a large motorbike dealership in Exeter, Devon where we sell everything!! Not seen anything that has torn me away from my beloved CBR yet. Great, great bike 👍 ps. I do 40/50 miles on it a day. Racked up 5000 miles since April 1st 👌 worth every penny.

I live in exeter i was in Bridge the other day looking at the Honda CBR500R is there much difference in price if not i might as well get the 650 ? thanks
@@markpendleton9595 If memory serves the 500r is about £6,500 the 650r is about £8,500. That's brand new anyway second hand you could get even better deals. If you can find a good deal on a 650r.........then I say go for the 650r.
@tvtwistasmoto I use it every day to commute to work. I'm a sales executive in a pretty big multifranchise motorcycle dealership, so get good discounts on parts, accessories, clothing, etc. I genuinely love that CBR tho.. I'm gonna keep her until she'll go no further. Spoilt for choice at work so I'll probably upgrade to a 1000cc when that day finally comes. The CB1000 Black Edition is a wicked bike 👌 super smooth engine like the 650r but 50hp more 😍 next years model is supposed to be getting the new fireblade engine too instead of the old one that's in the current model. That'll be an animal 👌 so many other bikes tho. Need to scratch the Ducati itch at some point but not keen on the servicing costs and the other issues 😂 they're so pretty tho ❤️ I'm getting an Insta 360 soon so imma start uploading content. Rideouts, Bike Nights, bike reviews, and walkrounds at work. I get some crazy nice bikes in, so it seems a shame not to show them off to others. Sorry for the essay, love your vids bud, subscribed 👍

What year is it? Seriously considering for my first bike. I’m a car guy at heart but find myself at 29 years old, having had fast cars in the past, struggling to find insurance on cars I want f80’s m3’s etc and struggling with the prices also. I now want a bike as a summer Toy but nothing too crazy for my first one. Would you say this is a good option? Keep up the content bro glad to see you’re back recently

Hell yes!!! Didn't think it would make much of a difference but it really gave me that extra bit of control over the bike and helped my positioning.

Hi, can you do some tour riding on this bike in terms of comfort? I know it's one of the most comfortable super sport bikes out there. In terms of maneuverability in the city is it ok ?
For tour riding, as you said it is the best supersports for something like that, but I would not suggest you get this bike if you intend to do a lot of tour riding. After 2 hours of straight riding I do feel very uncomfortable, if you are going to tour ride you would need to take frequent breaks. Also the fuel comsumption is not very good especially not for touring. The bike is fine for in town/city riding, again being a high reving inline 4 it might lack some of that down low torque that is great in the city but mostly it's fine. The best way for me to sum it up is that the cbr650r is a master at none of those types of riding, but it can manage them well enough.
Is it a good idea to get a brand new cbr650r 2023 as a first bike?
Yep
I havent ride this specific bike. But you can start with anything if you are responsible enough. It all comes down to how much you respect your machine. Some machines are more forgiving than others. Ive been told the cbr650r is considerably forgiving. If you want to buy something and go full throttle in public roads at rush hour for example then cbr is not the one for you
Has your akrapovic had the db killer removed ?
If you mean the little one at the tip of the exhaust then yes it has been removed. However there is an inbuilt silencer deep in the main body of the exhaust unit that is very very very hard to remove, that is still in it.

@@tvtwistasmoto do atleast a good run about half hour let it get really worm and try to hear it from the left side of the engine u will hear it the thing is when its cold or u let idle for few mins u dont hear it only after a ride am tryn to fix mine throught the dealer they did double check everything but i asked some1 he told me thats it might be from timing chain

The only reason i dont think bikes should be restriced is because the power output is fit to the weight of the bike. It might feel a bit off when the bike has a fat tire 500lbs weight and 43bhp and you will feel it around corners
Isn't that bike 146-147 bhp??? I think that is too much to restrict anyway 🤔. I believe you can only restrict up to 94bhp bike for the A2 Licence, I could be wrong though.

I don't know what advice I can give to help......but I would say do everything you can to prove that you are responsible and safe and maybe that will make them more willing to accept you riding a bike because they may trust you........idk.......🤣🤣. Don't get me wrong they were upset and they still get a bit annoyed and worried when I jump on the bike.....but they have kinda gotten used to it now 😅. You just did your cbt, that means you have had 'ADVANCED' training from riding 'EXPERTS'. That also means you are going to be safe and start on a small and 'SAFE' starter bike, meaning you couldn't go fast if you tried 😎. 🤣 That's the kind of stuff I said.
